Great job! This video made my day. Loved the positive vibes and beautiful scenery.
@@octaviousharper3873 thanks bro
Amazing video! On the chance that you guys came out of your trip wanting to visit more countries in Africa, I would highly recommend that you guys do South Africa, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Namibia, Rwanda, Kenya, Mauritius, Seychelles, Tanzania (including the Zanzibar island), Egypt, Morocco, and Nigeria (disclaimer, Nigeria is the final boss of Africa, you gotta get some other countries under your belt before you can take on Naija Land).
Welcome to Teranga Land!! Hope y'all enjoyed your stay
I love how this generation is changing the narrative of Africa,am so proud of you guys.
Yes the history they teach about Africa is all a lie shows more people now are traveling to Africa now see the true story n truth
Yes 🙌🏾
Yes I feel like this generation is the first group of Americans who can freely travel to diff countries in Africa. The previous generations had to rely on media to tell about Africa.
I'm rocking with the transitions at the beginning. We need more travel vlogs for the culture! Run them business expenses up! 😂
We will have more
very entertaining, i subscribed after the croissant clip
Senegal wasn’t on my radar but y’all just made me add it to the list. 2023 I’m visiting the motherland! ✊🏿❤️🖤💚
Definitely go to Ghana
@@sharitastinson109 Ghana was already on the list for sure.
@@twosmoothconey you'll have such an amazing time in both countries.
@@yo-a absolutely can’t wait.
@@twosmoothconey ghanas cool but Senegal has such an interesting vibe
Wow...it's amazing how food is spread across the diaspora, just googled "Bissap" only to realize it's what we call "Sorrel" in the Caribbean. Glad to see you guys experiencing life on the continent.
Yea as she was describing it I realized we drink that in Ghana also, called Sobolo.
I just did the same thing and was like this sorrel 🇹🇹 it’s so amazing how things travel throughout the diaspora.
@@miriamamaning2754 was just about to leave this comment 🤝
And it's called Zobo in Nigeria
Yes!!!!! I am in tears!
naaaah I can't believe the boys were in my city just driving around! Halfway accross the world, Atlanta, LA, Africa, two continents, so many countries, but no, they're in my streets! I feel proud I don't know why
This vlog was everything! Loved the edits, voice over narration from Cam, the views! Senegal is officially on my list!
Thank you 🙏🏾
Great vlog! I visited Ghana for NYE 2020 and I definitely spent as much on my flight ($2k) as EVERYTHING on land for 9 days cost ($2500). I did South Africa in 2021 and hopefully this year I'll do Nigeria but Senegal is definitely on my list. My trips to the African continent have been my absolute FAVORITE vacations out of ALL of my international trips! I would encourage every Black American to visit Africa (not just Morocco and Egypt but where the people look like you) at minimum once!
Senegal is awesome! I've been three times and though we spent most of our time down south (in the Casamance), I really enjoyed Dakar!
Glad y'all had this experience. Nothing teaches you more about yourself than traveling. Wonderful video DT!
thanks bro
Real truth. Keep written, audio, and videos journals always.
I’m Senegalese and I’m happy to see you guys visit my country been watching you for years.
I literally got that “wow” feeling like cam did…..looking out towards that horizon on the motherland 🔥 🔥
Damn the one time Rome drive. That is scary af. I absolutely love y’all’s ability to be in the moment and capture just a taste without taking away from y’all’s awareness to enjoy yourselves. Can’t wait for the next part.
Thank you and yeah Rome almost got us locked up 😂😂
Africa has been on my bucket list for a while. This gave me the added motivation I needed
💯 2023 for sure!
Love senegal 🇸🇳 ❤ I went last July so beautiful there the beaches, food and entertainment is very 👍🏾
Vrey glad you liked it here. You're welcome back anytime
Not the DBZ outro lol. I'm so glad you guys vlogged to show others who've never been to Africa that it isn't a jungle filled with cave people living off 12 cents a day. Senegal looks so beautiful and hopefully I get to visit one day.
I love seeing my people exploring different parts of the Motherland. 💚💛❤
What time of the year and day did you all visit Lac Rose??? Each time I go, it's never pink. 🤔🤷🏾♀️. I want to catch it when it's pink, dammit!!!
I absolutely loved my trip to Senegal 🇸🇳 Gotta go back!!
Cam, I loved that bed transition!! Watched the 2nd part before the 1st part, and you got to vlog all your travels!!
Can’t believe y’all ate beef! 😳 thanks for sharing this was great! Cam could really be a life coach. I love the way he kept dropping lessons on us.
We had to try it 😂 and thank you 🙏🏾
18:52 "Sometimes, to get to the most beautiful places, you've got to go down the most rugged roads." Coin that phrase.
Love Cam’s positivity ❤️
This was the trip I didn’t know I needed. Loved this vlog!
Thank you
I am glad you enjoyed my country guys🤗.
This is badass! I missed you guys! Glad you're doing alright!
thanks bro
Okay then Senagal is definitely the move! Thank you for the vlog!
Beautiful country and beautiful content! Wish all of the guys went but y'all definitely encouraged me plan a trip to go to Senegal. Thank you for this.
I am about midway through this video and had to leave a comment already. I am really enjoying this travel vlog. It's great to see people my age who also look like me explore the world!!
I love shows like Parts Unknown, No Reservations, and most other travel shows and i enjoyed watching this just as much as those shows.
Why do you think the two of you got sick? Is it becasue you had not eaten foods like that is a long time or was it similar to what happens when you drink the water in Mexico?
If you are looking for ideas on where to travel to this year, I highly suggest Hong Kong. I loved it. I also suggest Tokyo, and Seoul if they open up to tourist this year. Johannesburg and Capetown South Africa are also must visit.
Dakar has been on my places to visit list for a very long time and this vlog has inspired me to try to make it happen this year!
Great video. Keep up the great work here and on the other channel as well! Peace and blessing to you all.
I think we got sick because we were eating so clean prior to the trip eating pizza and burgers didn't sit right with our stomachs
Yesss, Anthony Bourdain!! I miss him!! 😞
Those are some beautiful visuals!
Thank you 🙏🏾
Vlog started like a 90s black movie "I bet you wondering how I got here...." lol.... I love it
definitely did 😂😂😂
Yo the editing of this video is CRAZY! I loved every second of it. Amazing!
thanks bro
Let me get my snacks for this! 🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
😂😂😂😂😂
@@DormtainmentTV Thanks for sharing y'all experience with us. I feel Cam on wanting to just be in the moment but this vlog was awesome.
I need more of these. This was an excellent vlog!
Thanks Janel
Been watching yal for years. Glad to the growth. Your speech about reconnecting with nature hit home. Why I love to travel. You leave your normal life and it's distractions. Realize, the world is so big, but small at the same time. The exposure to other cultures, and seeing how people are happy with what they have, it's life changing. My last overseas trip made me change how I vacation. I didn't take many pics, cause I wanted to live in the moment. I haven't travel since the pandemic, but I think it's time.
"We definitely didn't make it to the club@" - lol that's me even with the best of intentions. Every time!
This is legit one of my favorite travel anything... vlogs, shows... etc., I've ever seen. The food, the road trips, the culture, the editing.. Cam needs a round of applause. This has me legit looking up air fare to Senegal, and I never even considered it a travel destination.
This is the most beautifully edited and entertaining vlog I’ve seen in sooooo long 😭😭😭. This is why y’all are the RUclips OGs 🙌.
I spent 2 weeks in senegal this summer and this brought me back right there. Thank you for the great vlog!
Y'all gotta visit Nigeria next. My pops just moved there last year and he absolutely loves it
I enjoyed your content very much, it made me smile throughout. God willing Senegal will be my first visit to an African country nxt month. I appreciate you acknowledging gratitude to our Creator, He amazes especially when I see breathtaking water and animals. 💫Thank you for capturing such beauty!!!❤
Side bar: I can relate to being pulled over in a foreign country 😮💨
The two of you have the best attitude! Your positivity about your experience has me so excited about my Senegal arrival tomorrow!!!!
Are you in Senegal now? Did you have to take a covid test to go?
@@hourexodus5204 just left. If you are fully vaccinated with proof a COVID test isn’t needed until returning to the US. All unvaccinated visitors have to have a negative Test result
I would love to go on a trip with Rome and Cam. That’s really what life is about, traveling, experiences and gratitude!
Keep these coming family. I’m living vicariously through y’all!
Oh snap travel vlogs!!! I'm here for it!
I'm literally here looking up flights to Senegal now
This is inspirational. I’m definitely trying to travel this year
Definitely get out there and travel bro

Edit:
I’m commenting as I’m watching and awwww y’all po babies. I totally sympathize with y’all. Ima pescatarian & plant based. Meat outside of America is def better but ya still gotta transition and prepare your systems.
This video is so dope. Can’t wait for Part 2
Thank you Jaiye, we really appreciate it 🙏🏾
Absolutely beautiful I can’t wait to go to Senegal
🇸🇳
Reminder #150 why I need to stop procrastinating and go to Africa when I've been talking about it for years
That's a blessing right there. Proud of y'all. Have fun and be safe. 🥰
That was a really cool vlog. I can't wait to go back to Senegal and visit family!

Cam’s message toward the end, so enlightening 😌👏🏾
Been watching y’all for a long time and it’s a proud feeling as a fan to see y’all go from balling on a budget to trips like this.

Thank you for sharing. Senegal is a beautiful place. I’m happy you guys had this experience. I honestly don’t know how I stumbled upon this clip. But grateful I did. I used to watch you guys videos all of the time back in the day. My hub is from Dakar, and we were there in the summer and a few days I Sept. It was cool to see things I could recognize. If you guys ever return and my family is there we’d love to show you all hospitality.
Cam I love your gratitude. It make you really remember to be thankful for your own life.
Yeeees, loved this footage. Thank you guys for sharing ❤️ I have a friend from Senegal so it’s definitely on my list!

Amazing job vlogging Cam . Much appreciated
OMG you guys had the BEST tour guide at Goree, Br. Ali! He was amazing.
Aaaaaaand now Senegal is on my visit list. Would love to see more travel vlogs!!
Go for sure
14:04 is the funnies part. Rome called it 🤣🤣
This was enjoyable and thanks for the reflections. Gratitude expands your capacity to receive more.
That burger didn’t look done and cam said he ain’t eat beef in years, that’s why you threw up and had to shit. Just imagine if they both had a full burger instead of just a small piece? A couple of those days in Senegal would’ve been dedicated to the toilet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Okay, this was great and I’m sitting on edge waiting for part 2 😜🤣
Soon come
@15:10 it's pretty much the Senegalese version of sorrel... probably tastes different without the ginger.
I’m here for this travel vlog! This dope as hell !
thanks bro
Great Travel Vlog! Senegal looks amazing!
that “its morning” transition was golden
Cam bruh…39:52 you breathing life on this VLOG. This thing is a vibe I need. Thank you for sharing

This was great to watch! I also get very grateful when I’m near a beach. I could only imagine how I would feel in Africa. You have a perfect travel vlog voice. Just one thing…..I just wanted one uh oh lol

Really enjoyed the vlog. I understand just wanting to enjoy the experience. If you could, please bring us along with you on the next journey 🤞🏽…this one seemed transformative.
I just might..depending how everyone responds to this one
"Daisy Lukes" 🤣
Obviously not the same (spiritually) but the beaches in Senegal look a lot like South Australian beaches! 😍🦘
Thank you all fro sharing! I'll be there soon
I use to live in Darker, welcome home brother. Good to see you at home 🇸🇳
