Nice progress Mike. My floors are British Heritage floors that came with my car. I wish they were as flat as yours. Where they punched the large holes, stretched the floor pan and I had to shrink those areas. I did a lot of work on mounting holes as well as the flanges to make sure that the prop shaft tunnel and the transmission cover fit correctly. I am not a fan of stretching bolt holes so they line up. If the hole did not line up I filled it and put it in the correct location. I feel if I don't fix the floors now I will be fighting alignment problems all the way thru my restoration. Frank
Thanks Frank. I will do it a little different with the DS. I will likely do as you suggest with filling the hole then re drilling them in the more correct location.
Thanks Charlie... The floor came from Moss. It is claimed to be a British Motor Heritage product, but I'm not convinced. Regardless, it fit quite well and required little "fettling". I have a DS floor that is different from this new one, and I actually suspect it is NOS, but one thing at a time ;-)
