Just want to say that I am very proud of the progress you all are making with the channel. Your hard work is paying off!! I also love how lovingly and respectful your family interacts with each other. The kids have fun personalities!! I love that you are interjecting more live clips. One word of caution: The more open you are, the more susceptible you become to other people's opinions. Be aware, but don't let it detour you from producing helpful, interesting content. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much Sakina! You’ve been with us since the beginning! We truly understand your concern and totally see it already haha, we try to take everything with a grain of salt. We will continue to do our thing and we appreciate your love and kindness as always! 💕
All these look soooo good. I do love watching the kids in the kitchen with you. I agree with Sakina below in that people can get too opinionated. I don't care what they say, I love your channel! When I first went plant based I thought I had to do all this different stuff to stay healthy. Your channel promotes ease and function and alleviates a WHOLE lot of stress in cooking plant based. Thank you for the videos. Now I'm hungry. Gonna go make a Hai Path sandwich😀
Thank you Mistercreds! We really appreciate your love, care and support! Yes it’s true honestly everyone is opinionated haha but we will continue to do what we do for those who are on board. I honestly thought the same when we went plant based but have found some tricks along the way to make things easy for our whole family, it doesn’t have to be hard! I’m so happy you find our videos helpful! Which sandwich would you be making first?
When i ate meat - fried bologna sandwiches with onions was my favorite next to red bean sandwiches. Yuuumy!!! Going to ear a bean sandwich for lunch tomorrow. God bless you all from grandma Katie in Oregon
Hello Katie from Oregon! We dream about visiting Oregon it’s gorgeous! Definitely try the bean sandwich! It’s frugal and really tasty 😋 are you now fully plant based?
Thank you so much! We've made this a part of their lives and hope they grow to be great cooks even if it's just at home. Do you have kids that cook too?
Sandwiches are good for the soul. My favorite sandwiches are from rolls I make just from my regular bread recipe. I stack up fresh vegetables like lettuce tomatoes cucumbers and alfalfa sprouts. Add chickpea salad, grilled tofu, or a grilled portobello, then mayonnaise and Dijon. It’s so nice to be able to wrap up a sandwich and take off, and not need a utensil to eat. Sometimes portable is where it’s at. Also, if you don’t have a panini press, George Foreman Grill does a pretty good job.
Sandwiches are very good and comforting! We love cucumbers and sprouts on our sandwiches so much too, have not tried a mushroom sandwich! Ah a grilled sandwich may have to be a part of next weeks menu
For my tofu press, I put a paper towel at the bottom of a colander, then put the tofu with a paper towel on top, then put a tea kettle full of water on top. Works great.
Oh that’s a good idea without having to buy any equipment! I just didn’t know what to put on it haha! Trey did surprise me with a tofu press so I will be using that in future videos! Thank you Tammy!! Are you a sandwich fan too?
Yes! I had a blunt knife one time and it didn’t cut my lime, slipped and cut my finger 🥴 I agree and it just works so much better! Hope you try some of these sandwich ideas, which would you try first?
Omg everything looks so good! 😢 Aa far as the tofu goes, I like to press it and then freeze it. After thawing, even more liquid comes out, and it can then really soak up marinade! It's a different texture than regular tofu (not as soft, but more meaty or some would say spongey).
I’ve heard of that trick, I will have to try this! Trey also surprised me with a tofu press this week which I love and will come in handy 😊 do you eat sandwiches often?
Have you tried the Nacho Cheese recipe from Make It Dairy Free? Pretty minimal ingredients! I replace the vegan butter for a neutral oil and use it for nachos, potato cheese fries, and loaded baked potatoes. I ate it so much at school while on a stricter budget so pocket friendly too.
No we have not we will have to look that up! Oh boy some nachos sounds delicious right now yum!! We will have to plan to make some cheese fries and loaded potatoes thanks to you 😆
Hello! We honestly don’t have a recipe but you can try for a small serving mix together 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1/4 cup coconut aminos, 1-2tsp sesame oil and salt if needed stir and taste and adjust!

The grilled bean cheeses look amazing! And I agree with Trey, a little bit of black char on a grilled piece of bread is absolutely delicious!
Haha that char adds flavor!!!
Adore your family's channel!
Thank you so much we love having you join our family!

Love watching your kiddos cooking!
Thank you so much! We've made this a part of their lives and hope they grow to be great cooks even if it's just at home. Do you have kids that cook too?

Love watching you cooking with your kids and getting inspired for quick lunches. You make it look so easy. Love from UK ❤
Thank you so much 😊 we would love to visit the UK one day! Are you plant based yourself? How is it being plant based there? Is there a lot of options?

Panini Press that I use: A brick (or two) from our backyard wrapped in foil! Just lay it on top of the sandwiches on your grill plate!
Haha great idea so innovative!
Sharp knives are safer knives, too!

@@thehaipath Sweet Chili Tofu! Except I'll put mine on a wholemeal English muffin because I have a freezer full of them. :D
Love the team ... just found you and am excited to try your recipes.
We’re so excited to have you here!! We’d love for you to try some of our recipes out and let us know what you think!
Great recipes! whenever I toast my bread and it kind of burns, I just scrape off the burnt part! It's as good as new!! hahaha
Haha true you sure can do that!! What do you like your toast with?
These are all great ideas, I can’t wait to try them all!
Yay! Thank you! Hope you love them and this helps when you have that sandwich craving 😃 Dk you eat sandwiches often?
