An humble suggestion, will this news channel request Sri Dushyant Sridhar to do pravachan on Ramayana for a fortnight with 1hr duration so that all the critics of Sri. Rama and Ramayana can go home and have a nice sleep till 22 nd Jan or beyond this ?.

Ramayana is called an Itihasa because Valmiki, its author, narrated it as it happened (the very word Itihaasa in Sanskrit means "as it happened"). That is to say, Maharshi Valmiki lived during the time of Sri Rama and recorded the story for posterity.
How can any other work predate this work?
Valmiki is also known as the Adi Kavi, the first poet.
Your assertion that some Tamil work predates Valmiki Ramayana is stupid and baseless.

Valkiki is nothing compared to Vyasa / Krishna Dvaipayana /Vedavyasa / कृष्णद्वैपायन... compiler of the mantras of the Vedas into four Vedas, as well as the author of the eighteen Puranas and the Brahma Sutras. He is one of the eight immortals Chiranjīvis and author of the epic Mahābhārata.
Then why do u think Vedavyasa didn't compile Ramayana or something related to SriRama ?
