You made a good point about mastery for snipers this year was easy just certain gun were questionable for no reason hip fire with 3 kills in a mag was a headache anti-tac sprint rest in peace ✌️
I had a lot more fun doing this years camo grind compared to last years MW2. MW2’s mastery challenges looked easy from a glance but simply doing 25 longshots for every single gun besides the launchers was grueling. Forcing you to completely change your playstyle by sitting in one place hoping there’s enough distance between you and the person you’re looking at
Most of these challenges literally do not make any sense at all. Like longshots, or tactical kills, or enemy equipment. Feels like most of these rely entirely on the ENEMY and not the one unlocking the camos. You have to rely on the enemy to go a certain path, to put down equipment, for them to be stunned, i shouldn’t have to base my success off of the actions of an enemy player.

I’m so glad the camos are easy to get, it took me so long to unlock dm ultra and dark aether that in the end I just didn’t care that much, it was rewarding, but so tedious. Not to mention every gun had pretty much the exact same challenges. Now that the camos are much easier to get I actually look forward to it. On Cold War and vanguard I used to get and go “sigh, here we go what challenges do I have today” but now on mw3 I get excited every day because each gun has different challenges and the challenges arnt “get 100 crouched kills while scratching your nuts” they are much more simple and actually fun
I’ve never completed a mastery camo, now I had a kid a few months before MW3 was released and right now I’m the closest I’ve ever been to unlocking a mastery camo. I personally like how casual it is.
Fellow Damascus getter here, I still say that camo grind was my favorite since the diamond camos in BO2. Interstellar and Borealis both look amazing tho. Definitely getting both b4 S1 is over.
I’m pretty sure they’re named “Gilded” and “Forged” because MW2 Had “Gold” and “Platinum” so if you wanted to get priceless and it said “unlock platinum on 36 different weapons” I’m sure someone would get confused and think “I already have 1-77 Platinums”
That's actually very true, I never thought people would make that mistake between using MWII and MWIII weapons but having that distinction between the two does help those that would make that mistake.
Hey mate you nailed this video, this was my first time watching any of your vids and you did a great job. I am a long time COD player since og MW2, never got a mastery challenge complete due to me always losing the motivation. The last time I tried it was in BO3 and I stopped after getting AR,SMGs, and Snipers diamond. This game is much more welcoming and I only have 10 forged camos left TO DO!!! So hyped to unlock my first mastery camo after playing COD for over a decade.
I grinded Orion in MW2 and working a 9-5 with an awesome gf who also plays. i was able to get it in a month. Now, you do become a better player after going through it. It forces you to play differently than camp corners like some sad souls do. But it isnt the goal; its the grind. getting those achievements along the way are what its all about. I promise you that if you keep playing the same game modes; after getting the goaled camo. The game will fall on its face for you. I play S&D with a squad and we have fun; sure. but i am not spending my time going after intersellar this time mayone one day slowly work towards it.
I think mastery camos should be linked to levels, kinda like it was in the OG MW3. Okay, maybe you can have some challenges for gilded, forged and melted crayons, but i think the base camos should be linked to levels. I've been getting mastery camos since MW3 (BO2's diamond would be more of a "mastery" camo in my opinion), and i think challenges are kinda stupid and hold a lot of people back. I can't even imagine people with some sort of disability not being able to unlock a cosmetic item in a video game because some dev thought so. Another way to make people actually grind would be linking mastery camos to gun prestiges, this way people could just play the game and enjoy it, while getting some reward for their time played. When you mentioned the Damascus grind it blew my mind 'cause i seriously did not remember it was that crazy of a grind to unlock it. I remember it took me a few months to unlock it, April 1st of all dates to be more precise.
funny thing is I said I wasn't going to camo grind this year but when I found out you only needed 36 weapons and I was already 3/4 done with getting Gilded (by accident mostly ) and alot of the challenges depending what order you do them in and and your efficiency you can get 3-4 guns done in 1 game so if you gave up on Orion because of the longshots(i understand) try for Interstellar i think its more worth the grind than getting Orion which was just a tedious process you need a lot of patience
I remember in MW2019 the max mastery camo I’ve gotten was platinum on my Markmans/Sniper Rifles and my melee before I got banned. Then in Cold War only mastery camo I went up to was Dark aether. The max I went in vanguard was platinum on melees. I find it easy in these new cods and think they’re not really worth it if anyone can unlock it. One thing I can say is if they wanna add another mastery camo they have to make it worth it kinda like obsidian where you had to get 1,000 kills for all of your weapons

I’ve only fully completed two camos BO4 and mw3 almost got 2019 done and had snipers and smga done in Cold War. This was an insanely easy grind a lot thanks too the maps that were out and also a ton of get this many kills without dying tracking even though I died. Primarily the knifes
First time i'm grinding out a mastery camo bc really this is the first COD i've been really invested in and enjoying, but at the same time. Finally at Priceless. It's too grindy (I know its easier than its been in the past), but I feel like i've spent WAY to much time playing way to much in accordance of particualr play styles to just get it done.. If it would be able to go on every weapon in future titles I'd say its worth it otherwise its just kind of a time suck that takes you away from just playing the game. Also, being new I probably didn't do myself any favors by knowing how to do it the most efficiently.
this is the first cod im going for mastery camo since cod bo2, i feel this years cod is just not as much as a grind as compared to last call of duty’s. i’ve only played around 2 days game time and im onto priceless camo and i’ve been playing causally i even took a month break 🤷♂️ i say it’s worth the grind this year
To me getting Orion was easier since there weren’t any challenges that were reliant on wallbangs or using tacticals just using the gun. The interstellar grind is easy too but Orion was easier.
It took me almost 2 weeks for interstellar took me close to a whole month for Orion these are my first 2 mastery camos in modern cod I played all the other cods but there mastery camo seemed impossible to get for me atleast
@@im_justin_u9493 yeah mw2019 I got the smgs platinum then quit because the ars challenges it wasn't that they were hard it was I think they got like 100 longshots there were double the amount then smgs so I gave up I only did the smgs and pistols platinum in that game and In cold war I got all the smgs diamond then quit I didn't bother trying to do vanguard camos

I think something that makes them easier is they’re just more enjoyable like old grinds(excl the 100 hs to even unlock the other challenges and having to use base weapons so that added a bit of grind for those lol). VG and MW19 had some bs challenges (how does mounting with every weapon count as mastery, maybe lmg but not pistols, lord let’s be thankful IW haven’t cooked up mounted knife kills or some bs) Just got Interstellar last night. And I agree I’m glad it’s “easier”. I completed both for CW, did some of MW19, VGZ DA(ugh) , golds in MWII and did some for BO4 MP/Z and some basic camos in BO3 and this is probably the most enjoyable one tbh? Besides CWZ DA. The other ones were just more time consuming cuz there was nothing else to do for some of the games outside of it(VG) while some like CW finally bridged the MP/Z levels so it was fine for me. Also I think this is 100x better than VG grind cuz as you said there were some ridiculous challenges for that game like PB snipes and that just made me annoyed cuz it wasn’t Weapon Mastery it was a wild goose chase. Now if they had like get 5 PB snipes for forged that’d be fine since it’s not 15-25, I think they found a better way to do some of these challenges(25 longshots for PL or if mounted 15 for the holger iirc, mix and match). I’m glad it’s gone back to the old style imo, there’s still not much to do besides camo grind but I’m sooo glad community challenges are back in a sense, having a new way to explore zombies with friends and team up with randoms, cross the map with a truck full of randos to save a downed player who messaged their coordinates in match chat is so fun. I hope they bring back the Orda and the accidental ability to deliver him to players with cars. Hardest for me were penetration kills(the key is HC shipment barrels and crates on C flag iirc and for snipers it’s the Highrise middle fence on DM and HP it makes it wayyyy easier than the War method imo) and affected by tactical. The most time consuming were the RGL forged(having to ask on console keyboard is just so ahdjfj) and just the weapon levels. Getting gold took the longest just cuz of having to level(got half leveled by the time Christmas came around) and I’d lvl and get a weapon gold in about a day maybe two if I was tired after work. I played a lot of zombies(some for xp but most for fun) with my friend and just messing in the game trying to get good loot so it was really fun for me so far. Outside of RGL the Forged camos took about a 1-2 days for the 36(mostly during my days off for holidays so like Christmas ) Priceless/Interstellar took about 3 1/2 days as I returned to work(did like 18 on Wednesday , and then 5-7 on thurs and fri and the last 5 on Saturday night)
Im personally going for a three for three. So technically we’re thinking alike bro idk if you remember me telling you i got atomic twice in vanguard well i came back around and did orion twice and now with mw3 having double zombie camo grind and the ability to unlock orion ive set a goal to get all four mastery camos on three accounts and fully unlocked orion on all 77 in mwiii also. So far i streamed most if not like 85% of the interstellar grind on my channel and now im working on borealis. Run down of my history of camo grinding. Bo3-dark matter Ww2-chrome and some gold cheetah and gold leopard Bo4- dark matter Mw19-Damascus and some obsidian weapons Bocw-dm ultra Vanguard-atomic x2 Mw2-orion x2 Mw3-interstellar so far I’ll definitely keep you updated on my progress. Currently in the process of moving but ill still be grinding soem golden enigma camos in the time being til we move into the new house. Cheers to everyone that grinding these camos out

Idk why but the bloodthirsty challeneges were glitched and you literally get the 5 kills without dying even ifnyou died... haha. I saved them all for last and got them all done in like 1 hour last night and was like wtf why is this so broken and easy. I got all priceless camos done in about 6 hours. Interstellar is so damn good looking and i am IN LOVE. This is my first time ever going for the final mastery camo and I got Borealis and Interstellar done in the past 3 weeks. Now to juwt enjoy my time.
You absolutely can do every camo on Rust! (Did my longshots on Rust. As well as pretty much everything else :P) Also since mw19 watching your guides while grinding myself and absolutely loving them!!
Yup. I got mine basically play 24/7 rust and MW2 playlist 😂 For the long shots, you can sit in the corner of the map on top of the long pipe, go prone and get long shots all day 😂
Cold War took me 4 Months, Vanguard took me 3 Months, MWII took me 3 weeks and this one took me 2 weeks, and even then, I finished Borealis before 4 weeks. It was ridiculously easy!
I can't believe you did Demascus lol. I know a few people who did, no thanks. The only mastery I've done is Infinite Warfare Black Sky. Took me months. I don't regret doing it but I would never do that type of grind again on a 1yr CoD. As you said, this one is easy so I'll do it casually. I think I already have like 10 guns with gilded.
It's worth it first time in 5 years I got both mp and zombies before season 1 launches. It's super easy some are annoying challenges but the feeling after you get it is worth it.
This is the first time I grinded out a mastery camo on cod besides the smgs diamond on bo2 and I think royalty on AW. I love the variety of challenges. In the past, going for 100 headshots with every single weapon is just so boring and repetitive that I just had no patience. I remember one of the games I saw the challenge was get 100 long shots and I just immediately said hell no not getting it this year lol
The camo looks great, but it still isn't better than BO4 DM imo. While this camo grind was on the easier side due to only needing 36 weapons in the game with priceless unlocked and some of the challenges being bugged, the challenges that weren't still didn't make it a walk in the park. No matter how easy or hard the camo grind is, I'm just glad it's worth it again. Edit: Props to people who end up unlocking it if/when they fix the camo challenges.
cw mw vanguard launchers melee and stuff that is so hard to grind were just a pain in the ass, did it made me better? no? was it worth it? kinda but idk. and so this years mastery camo despite being easily accessible, its way fun instead of being depressed about it and it looks great. compared to what i experienced in mw19 and cw, even if its rare to see, i hate doing it all over again. Plus if you dont wanna buy the game and just use it for warzone, you can just wait for free trial every season and grind it there for hours thats the comparison on how easy it is to unlock it, using free trial for multiplayer.
I love cod but im in friggin college and trynna juggle jobs. It being "easy" ain't really all that easy for a lot of people who don't play 12 hours a day or sumn. There should 100% be a mastery camo for orion and interstellar (and the zombies counterparts as well). Maybe even include mw22's dlc weapons as a requirement Also this is probably the first time I've heard you swear lol.
As a person who has interstellar I will say it is 100% better than Orion I’m doing zombies rn longshots were easy asf such as Sidewinder Renetti etc but you do need multikills with the SVA Riviter shotgun etc double kills count as multikills so I would do this while you can unless it’s patched already

I unlocked interstellar 2 days ago. It was underwhelming for the most part cause a lot of challenges were bugged and even though that isn’t our fault, just made it a little too easy. Like the kill challenges without dying for 1
Interstellar reminds me of CoD Ghosts camo but animated and way better looking so imo worth. Also I like mastery camo grinding to try different gun categories and find more/fun builds than what everyone else is using. I enjoyed Demascus grind except for a few like the leaning and using the RPG yo destroy CUAVs lol. Working on finishing up Plat for the pistols then all that’s left are snipers, marksman rifles, knives and launcher. Hope they add some type of Obsidian camo for this year
3:00 I put in a good attempt as I liked the gold camo over orion in MW2. (I’m colorblind so orion just looks like spots of pee on a poo background. Blegh. Anyways, I’ve only got shotguns, marksman, and snipers left to do in MW3 (multiplayer) and I’m really excited because the interstellar camo is actually based off of nebulas found in the orion constellation. (Yes, I’m a massive space nerd.) it’s really cool that they actually based it off of something rather than just making a “ooo spaec camuuuuuoooo” thank you for the forged guide! Could you make an in-depth melted crayon camo guide for the weapons so I don’t have to remember what the challenge was? 😂😂
yes I finished borealis and interstellar in like 15 days it was my first ever mastery grind I'm doing mw2 zombie camos right now but not as fast its 51 and mw3 was 36 but I don't like mw2 zombies camos as much as mw3 so I'm gonna do them within season 1 just chill in on zombies right now and challenges ❤
the only other mastery camo i got was BO3 and that was because i loved the look of the camo, every other cod ive played i dont like it especially MW2019 and i played around 1500 hrs of that game. as soon as i saw interstellar i started to go for it becasue of how great it looks, just taking my time not to rush it but i am on my last gilded gun and should start priceless today or tomorrow depending on how much i want to suffer with the snipers lol
Snipers to me were the easiest. The battle rifles I didn’t like and the tactical kills on smgs gave me my biggest problem. Almost done with pistols but still have marksmans, the two knives and the launcher to get forge
Hopefully they keep it in Warzone now, so they don't repeat the same like the old warzone, just remove everything after all our hardwork. Why can't they make so that when that mastery camo is unlocked you have that in your account (warzone) and then can use it on whatever gun you want. etc.

I must say, been a big COD player since MW2019, didn't even THINK about doing the camos before hahah. Damascus was a horrible camo and the grind was crazy long. Didn't get Cold War. Vanguard had a wildly long grind and Atomic just wasn't nice to me. MW2 I would've considered it but too many launchers, couldn't be bothered. This is the first time where 1. the mastery camo is really really nice to me and 2. it actually feels realistic to get it. I'm just finishing platinum pistols as we speak then it's the 36 "priceless" challenges (I've done the TAQ instead of the launcher and I'll do the two new weapons in season 1 instead of the knives) and I will have it by Christmas I can't wait!
Can you prove you've been playing since mw2 2009? you channel dates from 2020 which is quarantine nostalgia. I still remember them making everyone download warzone mandatory even if they wanted to play multiplayer. 120GB updates every single season. Double claymores & 725 OP shotgun at the beginning + the layouts of the maps being horrible. Doors being introduced, mounting being a campy mechanic towards noobs, same with ghosts while stationary. Also, the inclusion of SBMM and a rotational store where people set weekly reminders to check the game and see if their favorite skins were available. Roze skin, etc. It brought a lot of newcomers to the franchise, it had great attention to detail, but it was untimely ruined by Activision shady practices & horrible push towards noobs. Doesn't hold up against MW2/3 2009/2011 or Black ops 2.

I think this game just had such a bad problem tracking camos like getting 3 kills with one mag 10 times would track one every ten times I did it but recently I just unlocked interstellar there is a bug for the getting 5 kills in one life 5 times I got 25 kills in a game dying many times but it gave it to me which I shouldn’t be complaining abt but the only other camo grind I have done was Damascus so this one may look a lot better I just didn’t get the same satisfaction of doing this camo grind
I Never go for camos I just play with friends and maybe get my fav gun gold since mw2019 and wasn’t planning on this time around but I checked the challenges and started doing it for fun to see how far I’d get and I’m actually 19 guns forged on the way to priceless. Was never a zombies player I HATED it but I’m also almost done with serpentinite too so it’s def fun to have something nice to grind for even with SBMM abusing my lobbies with bots who shoot nothing but headshots lmao

My friend got interstellar a couple days ago. He has never gotten a mastery camo before, and got it before me who has gotten every mastery since bo3 excluding ww2. So ya, i think more people are going for this camo than usual
I agree, but sharing that experience with those friend's who have never unlocked a mastery camo before and being able to share that excitement was something I really enjoyed this year.
Didnt play MWII so I dont have much unlocked I do wanna get all the camos (Including Orion and Bioluminescent) Am I gonna get it in a few weeks? Probably not but I do wanna get Interstellar and Borealis before Season 3 (Got Dark Aether on Cold War during Season 3 and that was my first Mastery Camo, Thank you for your guides btw) but I've been enjoying this game so much I actually wanna grind it and I didnt buy Vanguard or MWII so this is a fresh experience for me, Love your vids man! ❤
Im actually with you on about everything here (minus the gilded thing, it’s fine as a name but ugly as a skin). Interstellar was way too easy, took like 2 weeks and I have grandmaster for MW3 closing in on half done already. Damascus was a much better feeling to finish. I finished grandmaster in MW2 and it was, whatever, but if we ever got better rewards for it it’d be cool to have. I’d do zombies too for MW2 and 3 if they did a single player round based one where I could pause (did it in BOCW), but not with the current mode, it’s too damned boring. Thanks for the vid!
totally agree with everything but the part where you compare interstellar to bo3 dark matter. I know that "the best looking mastery camo" is subjective and opinion based but I still don't think they've come out with a better mastery camo than dark matter. Especially Orion and interstellar, it's not even a hard decision when thinking act wether or not those are the best mastery camos. I'd even take b04 dark matter over them (I can understand if u think I'm crazy for saying that bc ik bo4's dark matter wasn't that good), but the options are so sparse. I don't know why I just ranted abt that, ig to me a big part of the mastery camo grind is actually wanting a camo that's really like REALLY good. Because I wouldn't want to waste so much time and effort on a skin that's immediately gonna get outdone (aka I'm kinda sad I didn't play mw2 while waiting for mw3 in the haunt event because that camo you got from it looks way better than anything I can grind for in mw3). Idk if u like a camo u like the camo, if you don't you don't. I'll probably grind for interstellar (not because it looks good), but only because it won't really be a grind and I'll be halfway done with it just by leveling weapons in multiplayer.

I’m pretty sure they’re named “Gilded” and “Forged” because MW2 Had “Gold” and “Platinum” so if you wanted to get priceless and it said “unlock platinum on 36 different weapons” I’m sure someone would get confused and think “I already have 1-77 Platinums”
That's actually very true, I never thought people would make that mistake between using MWII and MWIII weapons but having that distinction between the two does help those that would make that mistake.

I am a long time COD player since og MW2, never got a mastery challenge complete due to me always losing the motivation. The last time I tried it was in BO3 and I stopped after getting AR,SMGs, and Snipers diamond. This game is much more welcoming and I only have 10 forged camos left TO DO!!! So hyped to unlock my first mastery camo after playing COD for over a decade.
The hardest part of these weapon challenges is the losing time to open the gunsmith for each gun 😂
Nah, leveling them up takes waaaaayyy more time than doing the challenges themselves.....

It's really easy indeed. It's crazy how hard other grinds have been, like damascus. That took me about 8 days of playtime

I grinded Orion in MW2 and working a 9-5 with an awesome gf who also plays. i was able to get it in a month. Now, you do become a better player after going through it. It forces you to play differently than camp corners like some sad souls do.
But it isnt the goal; its the grind. getting those achievements along the way are what its all about. I promise you that if you keep playing the same game modes; after getting the goaled camo. The game will fall on its face for you. I play S&D with a squad and we have fun; sure. but i am not spending my time going after intersellar this time mayone one day slowly work towards it.
I think mastery camos should be linked to levels, kinda like it was in the OG MW3. Okay, maybe you can have some challenges for gilded, forged and melted crayons, but i think the base camos should be linked to levels. I've been getting mastery camos since MW3 (BO2's diamond would be more of a "mastery" camo in my opinion), and i think challenges are kinda stupid and hold a lot of people back. I can't even imagine people with some sort of disability not being able to unlock a cosmetic item in a video game because some dev thought so.
Another way to make people actually grind would be linking mastery camos to gun prestiges, this way people could just play the game and enjoy it, while getting some reward for their time played.
When you mentioned the Damascus grind it blew my mind 'cause i seriously did not remember it was that crazy of a grind to unlock it. I remember it took me a few months to unlock it, April 1st of all dates to be more precise.
funny thing is I said I wasn't going to camo grind this year but when I found out you only needed 36 weapons and I was already 3/4 done with getting Gilded (by accident mostly ) and alot of the challenges depending what order you do them in and and your efficiency you can get 3-4 guns done in 1 game so if you gave up on Orion because of the longshots(i understand) try for Interstellar i think its more worth the grind than getting Orion which was just a tedious process you need a lot of patience
I remember in MW2019 the max mastery camo I’ve gotten was platinum on my Markmans/Sniper Rifles and my melee before I got banned. Then in Cold War only mastery camo I went up to was Dark aether. The max I went in vanguard was platinum on melees. I find it easy in these new cods and think they’re not really worth it if anyone can unlock it. One thing I can say is if they wanna add another mastery camo they have to make it worth it kinda like obsidian where you had to get 1,000 kills for all of your weapons
Why don’t they add obsidian 2.0 and make you get interstellar to get that challenge

I’ve only fully completed two camos BO4 and mw3 almost got 2019 done and had snipers and smga done in Cold War. This was an insanely easy grind a lot thanks too the maps that were out and also a ton of get this many kills without dying tracking even though I died. Primarily the knifes
First time i'm grinding out a mastery camo bc really this is the first COD i've been really invested in and enjoying, but at the same time. Finally at Priceless. It's too grindy (I know its easier than its been in the past), but I feel like i've spent WAY to much time playing way to much in accordance of particualr play styles to just get it done.. If it would be able to go on every weapon in future titles I'd say its worth it otherwise its just kind of a time suck that takes you away from just playing the game. Also, being new I probably didn't do myself any favors by knowing how to do it the most efficiently.
this is the first cod im going for mastery camo since cod bo2, i feel this years cod is just not as much as a grind as compared to last call of duty’s. i’ve only played around 2 days game time and im onto priceless camo and i’ve been playing causally i even took a month break 🤷♂️ i say it’s worth the grind this year

To me getting Orion was easier since there weren’t any challenges that were reliant on wallbangs or using tacticals just using the gun. The interstellar grind is easy too but Orion was easier.
It took me almost 2 weeks for interstellar took me close to a whole month for Orion these are my first 2 mastery camos in modern cod I played all the other cods but there mastery camo seemed impossible to get for me atleast

@@im_justin_u9493 yeah mw2019 I got the smgs platinum then quit because the ars challenges it wasn't that they were hard it was I think they got like 100 longshots there were double the amount then smgs so I gave up I only did the smgs and pistols platinum in that game and In cold war I got all the smgs diamond then quit I didn't bother trying to do vanguard camos
I agree with you on Orion being a little easier. The number of guns required is what makes it seem more difficult. 36 vs 50 something.

I think something that makes them easier is they’re just more enjoyable like old grinds(excl the 100 hs to even unlock the other challenges and having to use base weapons so that added a bit of grind for those lol). VG and MW19 had some bs challenges (how does mounting with every weapon count as mastery, maybe lmg but not pistols, lord let’s be thankful IW haven’t cooked up mounted knife kills or some bs)
Just got Interstellar last night. And I agree I’m glad it’s “easier”. I completed both for CW, did some of MW19, VGZ DA(ugh) , golds in MWII and did some for BO4 MP/Z and some basic camos in BO3 and this is probably the most enjoyable one tbh? Besides CWZ DA. The other ones were just more time consuming cuz there was nothing else to do for some of the games outside of it(VG) while some like CW finally bridged the MP/Z levels so it was fine for me. Also I think this is 100x better than VG grind cuz as you said there were some ridiculous challenges for that game like PB snipes and that just made me annoyed cuz it wasn’t Weapon Mastery it was a wild goose chase. Now if they had like get 5 PB snipes for forged that’d be fine since it’s not 15-25, I think they found a better way to do some of these challenges(25 longshots for PL or if mounted 15 for the holger iirc, mix and match). I’m glad it’s gone back to the old style imo, there’s still not much to do besides camo grind but I’m sooo glad community challenges are back in a sense, having a new way to explore zombies with friends and team up with randoms, cross the map with a truck full of randos to save a downed player who messaged their coordinates in match chat is so fun. I hope they bring back the Orda and the accidental ability to deliver him to players with cars.
Hardest for me were penetration kills(the key is HC shipment barrels and crates on C flag iirc and for snipers it’s the Highrise middle fence on DM and HP it makes it wayyyy easier than the War method imo) and affected by tactical. The most time consuming were the RGL forged(having to ask on console keyboard is just so ahdjfj) and just the weapon levels. Getting gold took the longest just cuz of having to level(got half leveled by the time Christmas came around) and I’d lvl and get a weapon gold in about a day maybe two if I was tired after work. I played a lot of zombies(some for xp but most for fun) with my friend and just messing in the game trying to get good loot so it was really fun for me so far. Outside of RGL the Forged camos took about a 1-2 days for the 36(mostly during my days off for holidays so like Christmas )
Priceless/Interstellar took about 3 1/2 days as I returned to work(did like 18 on Wednesday , and then 5-7 on thurs and fri and the last 5 on Saturday night)

So technically we’re thinking alike bro idk if you remember me telling you i got atomic twice in vanguard well i came back around and did orion twice and now with mw3 having double zombie camo grind and the ability to unlock orion ive set a goal to get all four mastery camos on three accounts and fully unlocked orion on all 77 in mwiii also. Idk why but the bloodthirsty challeneges were glitched and you literally get the 5 kills without dying even ifnyou died... haha. I saved them all for last and got them all done in like 1 hour last night and was like wtf why is this so broken and easy. I got all priceless camos done in about 6 hours. Interstellar is so damn good looking and i am IN LOVE. This is my first time ever going for the final mastery camo and I got Borealis and Interstellar done in the past 3 weeks. Now to juwt enjoy my time.

For the long shots, you can sit in the corner of the map on top of the long pipe, go prone and get long shots all day 😂
Cold War took me 4 Months, Vanguard took me 3 Months, MWII took me 3 weeks and this one took me 2 weeks, and even then, I finished Borealis before 4 weeks. It was ridiculously easy!

The only mastery I've done is Infinite Warfare Black Sky. Took me months. I don't regret doing it but I would never do that type of grind again on a 1yr CoD. As you said, this one is easy so I'll do it casually. I think I already have like 10 guns with gilded.
It's worth it first time in 5 years I got both mp and zombies before season 1 launches. It's super easy some are annoying challenges but the feeling after you get it is worth it.
The feeling after unlocking mastery camos is the best feeling in Call of Duty
This is the first time I grinded out a mastery camo on cod besides the smgs diamond on bo2 and I think royalty on AW. I love the variety of challenges. In the past, going for 100 headshots with every single weapon is just so boring and repetitive that I just had no patience. I remember one of the games I saw the challenge was get 100 long shots and I just immediately said hell no not getting it this year lol

The camo looks great, but it still isn't better than BO4 DM imo.
While this camo grind was on the easier side due to only needing 36 weapons in the game with priceless unlocked and some of the challenges being bugged, the challenges that weren't still didn't make it a walk in the park.
No matter how easy or hard the camo grind is, I'm just glad it's worth it again.
Edit: Props to people who end up unlocking it if/when they fix the camo challenges.
I literally just started my camp grind Friday and I’m 18 guns in. I’m almost there I’m not giving up. Hoping to be done with all by Monday night
cw mw vanguard launchers melee and stuff that is so hard to grind were just a pain in the ass, did it made me better? no? was it worth it? kinda but idk. and so this years mastery camo despite being easily accessible, its way fun instead of being depressed about it and it looks great. compared to what i experienced in mw19 and cw, even if its rare to see, i hate doing it all over again. Plus if you dont wanna buy the game and just use it for warzone, you can just wait for free trial every season and grind it there for hours thats the comparison on how easy it is to unlock it, using free trial for multiplayer.
I love cod but im in friggin college and trynna juggle jobs. It being "easy" ain't really all that easy for a lot of people who don't play 12 hours a day or sumn.
There should 100% be a mastery camo for orion and interstellar (and the zombies counterparts as well).
Maybe even include mw22's dlc weapons as a requirement

it’s also possible to get smg long shots on shipment as well, just as long as your 30 meters i believe

As a person who has interstellar I will say it is 100% better than Orion I’m doing zombies rn longshots were easy asf such as Sidewinder Renetti etc but you do need multikills with the SVA Riviter shotgun etc double kills count as multikills so I would do this while you can unless it’s patched already

I unlocked interstellar 2 days ago. It was underwhelming for the most part cause a lot of challenges were bugged and even though that isn’t our fault, just made it a little too easy.

Interstellar reminds me of CoD Ghosts camo but animated and way better looking so imo worth. Also I like mastery camo grinding to try different gun categories and find more/fun builds than what everyone else is using. I enjoyed Demascus grind except for a few like the leaning and using the RPG yo destroy CUAVs lol. Working on finishing up Plat for the pistols then all that’s left are snipers, marksman rifles, knives and launcher. Hope they add some type of Obsidian camo for this year
Penetration kills are the ones killing me, yes I know use the chain link fence. But everyone I play against has to jump around the map for no reason.

3:00 I put in a good attempt as I liked the gold camo over orion in MW2. (I’m colorblind so orion just looks like spots of pee on a poo background. Blegh. Anyways, I’ve only got shotguns, marksman, and snipers left to do in MW3 (multiplayer) and I’m really excited because the interstellar camo is actually based off of nebulas found in the orion constellation. (Yes, I’m a massive space nerd.) it’s really cool that they actually based it off of something rather than just making a “ooo spaec camuuuuuoooo” thank you for the forged guide! Could you make an in-depth melted crayon camo guide for the weapons so I don’t have to remember what the challenge was? 😂😂

yes I finished borealis and interstellar in like 15 days it was my first ever mastery grind I'm doing mw2 zombie camos right now but not as fast its 51 and mw3 was 36 but I don't like mw2 zombies camos as much as mw3 so I'm gonna do them within season 1 just chill in on zombies right now and challenges ❤

the only other mastery camo i got was BO3 and that was because i loved the look of the camo, every other cod ive played i dont like it especially MW2019 and i played around 1500 hrs of that game. as soon as i saw interstellar i started to go for it becasue of how great it looks, just taking my time not to rush it but i am on my last gilded gun and should start priceless today or tomorrow depending on how much i want to suffer with the snipers lol
Snipers to me were the easiest. The battle rifles I didn’t like and the tactical kills on smgs gave me my biggest problem. Almost done with pistols but still have marksmans, the two knives and the launcher to get forge
Hopefully they keep it in Warzone now, so they don't repeat the same like the old warzone, just remove everything after all our hardwork. Why can't they make so that when that mastery camo is unlocked you have that in your account (warzone) and then can use it on whatever gun you want. etc.

I must say, been a big COD player since MW2019, didn't even THINK about doing the camos before hahah. Damascus was a horrible camo and the grind was crazy long. Didn't get Cold War. Vanguard had a wildly long grind and Atomic just wasn't nice to me. MW2 I would've considered it but too many launchers, couldn't be bothered. This is the first time where 1. the mastery camo is really really nice to me and 2. it actually feels realistic to get it. I'm just finishing platinum pistols as we speak then it's the 36 "priceless" challenges (I've done the TAQ instead of the launcher and I'll do the two new weapons in season 1 instead of the knives) and I will have it by Christmas I can't wait!

Can you prove you've been playing since mw2 2009? you channel dates from 2020 which is quarantine nostalgia. I still remember them making everyone download warzone mandatory even if they wanted to play multiplayer. 120GB updates every single season. Double claymores & 725 OP shotgun at the beginning + the layouts of the maps being horrible. Doors being introduced, mounting being a campy mechanic towards noobs, same with ghosts while stationary. Also, the inclusion of SBMM and a rotational store where people set weekly reminders to check the game and see if their favorite skins were available. Roze skin, etc. It brought a lot of newcomers to the franchise, it had great attention to detail, but it was untimely ruined by Activision shady practices & horrible push towards noobs. Doesn't hold up against MW2/3 2009/2011 or Black ops 2.

I think this game just had such a bad problem tracking camos like getting 3 kills with one mag 10 times would track one every ten times I did it but recently I just unlocked interstellar there is a bug for the getting 5 kills in one life 5 times I got 25 kills in a game dying many times but it gave it to me which I shouldn’t be complaining abt but the only other camo grind I have done was Damascus so this one may look a lot better I just didn’t get the same satisfaction of doing this camo grind
I Never go for camos I just play with friends and maybe get my fav gun gold since mw2019 and wasn’t planning on this time around but I checked the challenges and started doing it for fun to see how far I’d get and I’m actually 19 guns forged on the way to priceless.
Was never a zombies player I HATED it but I’m also almost done with serpentinite too so it’s def fun to have something nice to grind for even with SBMM abusing my lobbies with bots who shoot nothing but headshots lmao

Im actually with you on about everything here (minus the gilded thing, it’s fine as a name but ugly as a skin). Interstellar was way too easy, took like 2 weeks and I have grandmaster for MW3 closing in on half done already. Damascus was a much better feeling to finish. I finished grandmaster in MW2 and it was, whatever, but if we ever got better rewards for it it’d be cool to have.
I’d do zombies too for MW2 and 3 if they did a single player round based one where I could pause (did it in BOCW), but not with the current mode, it’s too damned boring.

totally agree with everything but the part where you compare interstellar to bo3 dark matter. I know that "the best looking mastery camo" is subjective and opinion based but I still don't think they've come out with a better mastery camo than dark matter. Especially Orion and interstellar, it's not even a hard decision when thinking act wether or not those are the best mastery camos. I'd even take b04 dark matter over them (I can understand if u think I'm crazy for saying that bc ik bo4's dark matter wasn't that good), but the options are so sparse. I don't know why I just ranted abt that, ig to me a big part of the mastery camo grind is actually wanting a camo that's really like REALLY good. Because I wouldn't want to waste so much time and effort on a skin that's immediately gonna get outdone (aka I'm kinda sad I didn't play mw2 while waiting for mw3 in the haunt event because that camo you got from it looks way better than anything I can grind for in mw3). Idk if u like a camo u like the camo, if you don't you don't. I'll probably grind for interstellar (not because it looks good), but only because it won't really be a grind and I'll be halfway done with it just by leveling weapons in multiplayer.
