I worked with a Asian lady (early 60's) who had one glass eye, and was worse than silver Lexus driver. When I first started working 5 people told me to NEVER park near her car! About 2 years later she finally got around to sideswiping my car. See paid me cash to get it fixed....guess her insurance company was tired of her filling out claims.

I also know to find the nearest safe way to pull over or exit if I’m not alert enough to continue driving. Some USA states demand it on your license, but as I am medicated, I don’t need to disclose it. If i was without medication, I believe it would be illegal in several states in the USA. Honestly, I’m unlikely to be the risky driver, because before I wAs diagnosed, as soon as I realized I was falling asleep at the wheel I told my parents I was going to have to wait to get the license, as I couldn’t practice driving till I was safe to drive.

Start counting cars as you drive to work next and realize how many you pass that you'd be SOL in an accident without carrying uninsured motorist on your insurance. Not only that, I have to take copies of photo IDs for my business. At least a similar 1/8 that drive up and enter my business either have just a non-driver's ID or have to go get an ID (usually also non-driver's, occasionally someone just didn't renew a driver's) because they no longer had one.

Similar situation with me once, I got a seatbelt ticket years ago, I wasn't sorry about it until I got caught. The officer gave me a little talking to about it. He was right, seatbelts really do save lives and it was an unnecessary risk I was taking by not wearing one, easily fixable by simply wearing the belt. I was wrong about the risk being low because I was only going on a 5 minute trip. The officer told me that generally speaking you're most likely to get into an accident when you're within 15 minutes or so of your house. This was before dashcams were readily available to everyone so I don't have a video of the event but lesson learned, I put myself on blast every time I tell this story, I've worn my seatbelt 100% of the time ever since and if I'm driving, the car doesn't move until my fiancee buckles up, she sometimes doesn't like to wear her belt. If she's driving I badger her about it until she gives in and buckles up. Point is, sometimes it takes another person pointing out something you're doing wrong for it to click with you. It was years ago, and kind of a minor thing but I regret all those times I didn't wear a seatbelt. I don't loose sleep over it or anything. But you may be right, the guy in the video might not be sorry and he might do stuff like that all the time. You never know.

But, i would recommend her to learn “how to drive properly” on the fields first and learn the basics aspect of driving and parking. I do really concern about her neighbors safety and other drivers in that area/city.

Start counting cars as you drive to work next and realize how many you pass that you'd be SOL in an accident without carrying uninsured motorist on your insurance. Not only that, I have to take copies of photo IDs for my business. At least a similar 1/8 that drive up and enter my business either have just a non-driver's ID or have to go get an ID (usually also non-driver's, occasionally someone just didn't renew a driver's) because they no longer had one.

@@Galiant2010 You might be right, but he didn't have to put the video online for everyone to see. I think he's genuinely regretful of how he was acting. Similar situation with me once, I got a seatbelt ticket years ago, I wasn't sorry about it until I got caught. The officer gave me a little talking to about it. He was right, seatbelts really do save lives and it was an unnecessary risk I was taking by not wearing one, easily fixable by simply wearing the belt. I was wrong about the risk being low because I was only going on a 5 minute trip. The officer told me that generally speaking you're most likely to get into an accident when you're within 15 minutes or so of your house. This was before dashcams were readily available to everyone so I don't have a video of the event but lesson learned, I put myself on blast every time I tell this story, I've worn my seatbelt 100% of the time ever since and if I'm driving, the car doesn't move until my fiancee buckles up, she sometimes doesn't like to wear her belt. If she's driving I badger her about it until she gives in and buckles up. Point is, sometimes it takes another person pointing out something you're doing wrong for it to click with you. It was years ago, and kind of a minor thing but I regret all those times I didn't wear a seatbelt. I don't loose sleep over it or anything. But you may be right, the guy in the video might not be sorry and he might do stuff like that all the time. You never know.

@@lorrainemarshall9476 well, as a asian who has been taught to drive a car and motorcycle since 14 years old (on the private fields ofc) and was driving a big ass pickup truck in a narrow road without a scratch (when I’m already have my license ofc) i can’t relate that. But, i would recommend her to learn “how to drive properly” on the fields first and learn the basics aspect of driving and parking. I do really concern about her neighbors safety and other drivers in that area/city.

@@MyCatInABox because alcohol has a relaxing effect on the muscular system but in the event of a wreck, sober muscles become stiff and rigid, bracing for the impact which unfortunately causes more injury to the body because it won't absorb the energy of the crash.
