NYC is crying for help with the influx of border criminals they wanted !
Police are arresting subjects and if someone gets their feelings hurt, the cop is being given stronger punishment then the criminals. Then, the criminal is turned back onto the street with no bail to continue committing more crimes that the politicians use statistics to take away rights from law abiding citizens.
That would be good to see because it seems enough of the general public was total chaos before it repents from its choices.

A guy stole 2 cars in my county and they didn’t take him to jail. He had 16 felonies against him, and still no jail. However, tell someone that they are trespassing without any threats or foul language and go straight to jail.

GREAT POST. I helped with a police force in a civilian job, and I SAW some of what they went through. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I FEEL SO BAD FOR THEM.

After 22 years as a sheriff deputy I got out as fast as I could. I got seriously hurt in an assault, but when the line of the investigation got around to the feeling of I did something wrong. The hand writing was on the wall, and I was exactly right.

My daughter who is a police officer and who was on the riot squad during the 2020 peaceful protests who dealt with the city having fires started, businesses broken into and violence against persons & police officers is still a police officer but now moved from the city to a smaller country force who has a completely different attitude towards their officers. But knows at least 50 officers who have quit, 15 who are on total disability and many many more who are one incident over the line from leaving this profession…

I am currently working on becoming an LEO in my community. I asked a local officer if he had any advice. His advice: “Don’t become a cop.” He said the politics are out of control and are hampering the job at all levels. I believe this is just a phase as it is clearly unsustainable on its current track. We will always need police on our streets. Policies are constantly evolving and that is not a bad thing but we need to face reality at this point. If you feel a calling to protect your community don’t be discouraged by the media or even jaded officers. Someone needs to do the job. Step up if you feel you can.

Get ALL police officers away from Traffic stops completely. Shut down The Whole Police Traffic Division completely across America. Traffic Stops are NOT crimes. You don't go to jail or prison for traffic stops.
Police Officers get paid to chase and arrest criminals.
Also when you stop and think about it, All traffic stops and ALL checkpoints are a VIOLATION of The Constitution.
You have The Right to travel freely on State and City Highways and Streets without being in molested by Government Officials unless you've committed a crime. Havin a burnt out brake light is NOT a crime, driving around with expired car tags is not a crime, tinted windows is not a crime, making an illegal U-turn when it is safe, is not a crime, speeding up to 15 mph above the posted speed limit is not a crime. You don't go to jail/prison for any of these mentioned.

Simple answer is that our society is starting to legalize drugs nation wide.

I'm not arresting any person for child support. It's unconstitutional. And people have the constitutional right to take drugs so you'd better find a non criminal non police way to solve the problem. Drugs is a civil issue in most cases unless a robbery or battery is being commited.
