This is quite interesting. My perspective is as an American learning of the importance of organ meats. Thankfully, I am young, so I may be able to mend some of my problems easily.
@@LeonaPrime I still have a lot to learn. Right now though I would cook them as he is doing, and add them when they are almost done. Their is also the types of spices one should use so I have no clue how to prepare the soup.
Wow thank you so much for this video! I am still learning how to cook meat and have never tried cooking any organ meat. I have a lot of health issues and need to increase my intake of nutrient dense food. Thank you for showing how each one is supposed to look after cooking - greatly lessens my anxiety now knowing how it should look. Amazing dish and can't wait to try it - thank you!!! xo
Hi BashChef, This looks absolutely amazing Sir!... I grew up having these foods such as kidney, liver, brain, tongue and tripe...my Mother was an amazing old-school cook...that generation was skilled cooks...Thank you so much for sharing your skills...Cheers!
Hi. Thank you for the video it looked great. But what did you call the dish? It sounded like it started with a G but I couldn't fully understand and don't know how to spell it.
Great instruction. That dipping sauce sounds amazing. I found a local farmer selling beef liver, heart and kidney for really cheap. About 1/4 the price of the cheapest meat they sell. It's funny but Americans won't eat the best parts. They practically give away the tongue. I'm going to talk to him about his sheep next time I go out there.
Awesome looking dish. Going to make it this week. What is the green seasoning on top? Also, how long did you cook the heart before adding the kidney? I'm going to cook the heart in a ceramic frying pan, as it heats very gently and slowly, which will be perfect for the heart I'm hoping.
Great video. And usually people ignore different cooking requirements of each of these elements and throw everything together, so especially the liver starts to turn green. You explained it really good. Keep up.
That look so good and came here get another Ideas as to cooking so sorry to ask this without offending anyone but I just killed a young farm raised piglet very tender and wanted to try cooking the same internal organs on a skillet just like this should I change anything since it’s not a lamb or goat ?
Thanks for sharing, hope to see more details on the specific garnish and how you did it. But again awesome dish awesome presentation and thank you for showing how it’s probably ate
Straight to the point. Americans should learn from this perfect instruction done without any boringly long chat for three quarters of the video. I shall be using this instruction to cook kidneys, for my partner, from xmas turkey.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. I'm using the organs from a *different* kind of animal but I'll bet this is delicious. I'm looking at the organs right now. Sadly eating organs in the US is unusual to say the least.
To my knowledge, if it tastes bad or smells bad even after few hours of cooking it is bad. I won’t keep leftovers or open packages in my refrigerator more than five days if there is no safety guidelines on the package. Also food shouldn’t stay out for more tan 4 hours of total time after it’s prepared.
SvemirskiKubanac why not .. I’ll make sure that smell is out. Even though washing meats with water is not recommended as it help and spend up the growth of the bacteria but I’ll cut the kidney open and wash it if there that smell.
knothead35 people do that as kidney tastes a little "gamey", as if its just been butchered. Especially this is the sure thing to do with fresh(hunted) meat. If you buy it from the store or fron your local butcher, then it's already been rested so there's no need.
The fat it's self may render down but your are seemingly not removing the thin, transparent tissue called silver skin from the heart and that makes it very hard to chew. The meat without the membrane and fat is lean and tender. Give that a try.
Boomer Taylor I don’t find it tough at all when I cook it that way. Just keep the heart small size. I heard that the cow heart is tougher. Yes the fat will render fast.
I found the video interesting from the organ perspective but take issue with the idea that lamb needs to be well done. Good lamb can be cooked medium rare with no issues and is the most popular way to eat it where I'm from, whether that be the ribs, the leg, the loins, etc.
Tried to eat liver prepared in the U.S. I wanted to gag. Now I look to the Arabian Peninsula and their cultures to see if I can actually incorporate organ meat.
Big thank you from Australia! I am a typical white man, and I love middle eastern cuisine, I can’t wait to make this!

You and me both. Cooking bones is fun but adding organs it may give my soups a huge boost.
@@thebrainless1 Ooh, you say add organs to soup? How long and high do you cook the organ meats in the soup? (Per type please)

Do I need to wash to meet with water before hand?
To my knowledge, It is never a good idea to wash any meats. Washing can only lead to cross-contamination. Properly cocked meats is safe to eat.
@@BashChef wow really? Not even rise off and dry?
@@FeonaLeeJones it’s up to you. Rinsing will only spread bacteria to other places. Good meats will always look and smell perfect.

Thanks 🙏 4 sharing ur delicious 😋 recipe bro making dis today... inshallah Jazak Allah w Khaar ...!
Man, that looks so good!
I love heart and kidneys soooooo good , but I dont like liver lol 😁
Should the kidney be soaked in a water and vinegar solution before cooking? I've seen a lot of people do that, but don't know why they do it
knothead35 niver done that and It still taste great.
You can leave it in the water for couple of hours after washing it. Sometimes if its not properly washed, you can smell a hint of urine tbh
SvemirskiKubanac why not .. I’ll make sure that smell is out. Even though washing meats with water is not recommended as it help and spend up the growth of the bacteria but I’ll cut the kidney open and wash it if there that smell.

I boil the kidney first and throw the scummy water boil it again second time to get the urine out then chop it and add to the dish
