I wouldn’t say it’s high effort, the way fish are designed just makes it easy for devs to add more which I think is smarter than making them super detailed, there is many bugs boats alone bug out very often. Tho it is very cute and if you just want to relax or grind a game without much thought fisch is perfect for that and it’s good for what it is

What I like most about Fisch is the fact that after obtaining your first boat there's almost no limitations on where you can go. All the islands absolutely have no restrictions to go to except some special places that often need certain items.

Being able to 'complete' the game in a sense makes it also more goal oriented, but since the game will update, it doesn't always mean you'll stagnate and have nothing to do.

And second, this HEAVILY induces Carpal Tunnel due to the rapid movements required to even click the Shake button in the first place. Now you might be saying "oh other games do this so it's fair!!" but when you get to the point where the ENTIRE GAMEPLAY LOOP can be summarized to THIS EXACT MECHANIC that can injure your wrist, it can get a bit concerning. I played for around 30 minutes, made no progress at all due to the absurd amount of time required to do literally anything, swam to a island without a boat because the devs were too lazy to code simple swimming mechanics, and realized there was literally nothing left to the game and decided to stop wasting my time with it. They even said the game was a “passion project” when it’s just a clear example of money-hungry devs milking the hell out of premium payouts.
Well Incase you didn’t know there’s more aspects to a game than just it’s gameplay. Fisch is so simple, that it’s very relaxing to play with friends while talking about stuff and sometimes catching something big. Also because its not an AFK game you can vc with random people and have a great time with them. The thing that makes fisch fun is it’s simple minigame. Simple dose not = bad.

At first when I saw this in my recommended, i thought " oh,ppffft aNOTHER rng? god. " until I played it. I was suprised. I usually do fighting games or games with actual substance. Fisch feels like a break from the usual carnage. and OH MY. It can be beautiful sometimes. and fun too!

I've never played Fisch before since I heard it was another rng game... Ever since Sol's came it broke my perspective of rng games and it affected my perspective on Fisch too.

I played for around 30 minutes, made no progress at all due to the absurd amount of time required to do literally anything, swam to a island without a boat because the devs were too lazy to code simple swimming mechanics, and realized there was literally nothing left to the game and decided to stop wasting my time with it. They even said the game was a “passion project” when it’s just a clear example of money-hungry devs milking the hell out of premium payouts.
Well Incase you didn’t know there’s more aspects to a game than just it’s gameplay. Fisch is so simple, that it’s very relaxing to play with friends while talking about stuff and sometimes catching something big. Also because its not an AFK game you can vc with random people and have a great time with them. The thing that makes fisch fun is it’s simple minigame. Simple dose not = bad.

Shaking is like the equivalent to hunting for Coins in Sol's RNG. It's a reason to keep players constantly engaged and not asleep constantly grinding without """effort""", and i think it's a pretty scummy tactic. Also, not enough explanation to give an RNG game such a high score.

Hopefully not, the original fisch dev still has majority control over the games future I heard, so we should be fine. Blade ball also right from the start was kinda destined to become bad and p2w, it would be pretty hard to ruin fisch id say.
