I agree. I thinks it’s so sad because it’s so somber and quiet compared to other sad songs like a Anakins betrayal. It feels like the calm after the storm.
I dunno, Order 66 and Anakin's Death (Episode VI) were quite sad. This one is emotional, but I don't know if it gives the same sad melody as some other. But for sure arguably the most moving, emotional theme.

The saddest part about, "Anakin is the father, isn't he?" Not only does Obi-Wan know that he's about to kill his best friend, but also deprive a woman of her husband and child(ren) their father.
I hope all the scores get new expansions eventually. Even ESB and ROTJ are missing material and their expansions have pretty poor sound quality. And the Phantom Menace expansion has some pretty terrible editing. I hope eventually we can get expansions for all three trilogies. For the time being though at least the video games have most of the unreleased prequel material

Since The Phantom Menace, A New Hope-Jedi have the expanded scores why can't we get the same for AOTC AND ROTS plus ROS?
