Is the hose coming out from the right side of the hpfp blocking access to the coil pack and spark plug (5th cylinder from the front)? Is is ok to remove the hose when replacing spark plugs?
One of your best vids man. Im a 15 yr diesel mech and ive never seen fuel spit out as hard as it did on the one line. You would figure a 15 liter engine would spit more fuel during depressurization then a 3 liter lol 🤷♂️
Thank you! Yeah these cars are always super leaky when depressurizing. Just have some towels ready and you’ll be fine, but I don’t have to tell you that 😉
Does the alignment tool you used for the HPFP come with the kit or no? And what are the benefits of getting Stage 2 over Stage 1, I might upgrade the turbo to Pure800 in the future but I will only use pump gas.
hi friend, could you post the website link where i can buy this high pressure fuel pump? I live in Brazil and here it is difficult to get, I will be grateful
@@NoClutchGarage do you have to reflash before starting the car? On their page it says as soon as u install and plug battery in u have to reflash or the car won’t start, so do you just flash with ignition on car off?
Hi Lj, thank you for the video! I run a Spool Ethanol Analyzer in my M140i and I am curious is the Dorch Stage 2 HPFP (the gaoline lines) compatible with the Spool Ethanol Analyzer. The gasoline line from the Analyzer to the HPFP without a problem? Best Regards
its definitely a good idea to do as stock b58 fuel pump is trash and if u pushing more boost you gonna max it out so rather get an upgraded hpfp be it from the b58tu or aftermarket. atleast from what ive been told by guys at bmw and seen online.
No, it just wouldn’t be as efficient. But to be honest you’re not going to notice a huge change on 93 octane. The biggest power jump will be on e30 Stage 2+
Great installation video man. Just a few questions, will we be able to run straight e85 now and utilize it's full potential with the new hpfp or is e50 still rec by most tuners for these b58 engine? And now with the new mhd hpfp map option, do they increase the boost a little bit over the regular stage 2 map or nah?
To answer your first question, yes you can use full e85 but you will be limited in terms of power because at that point the limiting factor becomes the LPFP, which should be upgraded and I will have a video of that in the coming weeks. As far as the MHD side of things, running stage 2 while using this pump will not change anything as the checkbox will only allow it compatibility, stage 2+ however will see benefits from this especially on the e30 map!
Just so everyone knows, if you accidentally drop the low pressure fuel line fitting down inside the engine bay, it’s aluminum so a telescopic magnet won’t help you. But, Dorch will overnight you a spare!
The way you torqued the bolts was incorrect. You need to bring them both down closer together. Not just one all the way and then the other all the way. That can damage the gasket. Just FYI just like when putting your wheels on the car. You don’t harp one all the way down. You bring them down together.
This installation guide also works for Dorch Engineering Stage 1 HPFP!!!
Great video ✌🏻
My monster M140i just came in yesterday, tomorrow is MASATA charge pipe and CTS intake upgrade Installation 😎
I’m dead. My guy did a complete fuel pump install in a car park in like 10 min. Beast.
Edited a bit but yeah, removal of old pump and installation of new pump together only took about 30 minutes 😉 💪🏼
You always come in clutch bro nice detailing 👌🏽
Thanks for video bro. Can't wait to slap this on!
@NoClutch Garage when i order the ds2 from dorch does it come with the flange alignment tool if not where can i find thaf
Yes it does!
can you run more boost on a stock turbo with this instead of doing meth. injection?
Yes!
one question, why stage 2 and not stage 1? im not going to change turbo and stay oem, thnx (or change stage 1 turbo only max 550whp)
On stage2 540, adding fuel pump, adding extra hp? Or another remap needed
Is the hose coming out from the right side of the hpfp blocking access to the coil pack and spark plug (5th cylinder from the front)? Is is ok to remove the hose when replacing spark plugs?
Yes!
If for some reason your pump goes bad, can you replace it with an OEM one without any flash? Just removing the old and putting the new one?
Of course!
You just gave me Hella confidence bruh lol all u did was unplug the battery and pretty much got to it right ??
Correct

can you drive car with normal daily stage 1 maps with ds2 fitted?
Yes just have to check the checkbox for the appropriate pump

Is going state 2 plus a lot of stress for the car ? I want to do it but I don’t want to detract from the m240’s longevity too much
if you have a downpipe you'll be fine, just run 91 or 93 tune
Does this add HP running pump gas? Sorry if it’s a dumb question new to all this
Yes!
@@NoClutchGarage how much power can this hphp add running 93 octane?
Hai
Is it possible to install the dorch and than later change the software. Or is it not needed to change that?
You must update the software immediatelu
Thanks for sharing. Best pump, but i got a nice deal for a tu pump.
What deal
Hey thanks! Can the car be driven after this install?
You must re-flash

I just did this in a school parking lot with this guide 😂👌
Hell yeah bro, gotta do what you gotta do 😂

Yes I ran this setup. You need to contact Dorch and they will send you the right lines!
@@NoClutchGarage Thank you for answering !
Is HPFP necessary? the place I upgrade my 440 says that I dont need to change HPFP for changing B58 pure turbo 800 if my goal is 500whp

Hey so we can install a dorch stage 2 hpfp on a stock turbo and run full e85? Obviously on lower boost to be safe right
It is safe no matter what boos you run, your fueling will always be safe with this on a stock turbo.
Great video thank you.
So if u run a stage 2 tune on your car u need this fuel upgrade?
Not necessary for stage 2
NoClutch Garage What if I want to go to MHD stage 2 plus if necessary? Thank you! great video
Yes it is necessary for stage 2 plus
I see you flashed a 95 oct map. Do you have to use that for MHD stage 2 plus?
Yes!

You know how much hp I get with mhd running a dorch B58 hpfp stage 1 ?
Depends on your tune but it should be able to support 500whp
I'm doin now with a full m performance exhaust and a remap 440 hp so with the hpfp stage 2 and the mhd stage 2+ you mean i get 500hp?
Close to it

That’s exactly what I did… while process took me like 5 minutes because it can strip the aluminum flange so easily
Omg car d
Sounds expensive lol
Why are you working in a parking garage lol
Because it was raining and I didn’t have a garage yet 😂
