This place is absolutely disgusting, it needs maintenance, it’s dirty, there is no restaurant and it’s full of people chewing qad(not child friendly) there is animal urine all over the place, the tigers are chained up outside the cage and they can’t even walk around .. it was depressing and an absolute disappointment. This place has to change

I was in Hargeisa in 2010. I didn’t feel safe when I visited the zoo. One of the lions escaped and killed people. It happened twice actually.
