For us it is usually important respect for our wife and our parents. Salam Feti, my wife is from Ethiopia and I'm from Somalia. Right now we are in addis. Somalis can marry from outside and most of us of course see taking care of ones wife as a duty. Lastly, we Somalis in ogaden, somaliland, puntland, Kenya somalis etc all are one.

Somalis usually don't marry outside of their culture especially women but i know personally Somali women with non Muslims but its rare and only diaspora its taboo back home

For a long time until now I did not know well the Rasta faith and people.. To me theirs was more about a lifestyle choice that I felt wasn't safe to associate with, like smoking the green stuff, which I mistakenly thought every Rasta person did. I'm from Jamaica And I've never seen the Real Ganja Plant, and I was Born and Raised there. I've Seen People Smoke it Though, but Where I'm From in Jamaica, Ganja was Not Common. I Only Saw it on TV.
