Thank you again Fetiye for this wordeful tour and video of Ye Welo Sefer neighborhood. Back in 2014 , I used to like, often stayed and walked through and around this area especially during the city nightlife. There used to be one particularly very nice traditional dance club plus restaurant ( Habesha Restaurant name or something but I forgot now) when you just pass the Olypian square of Bole road and towards Airport for about half km or so. But in my last visit it was overtaken the whole area by new high rise buildings and different and new kind of expansive business activities but there was no place for average folks and tourists alike to walk around, explore and relax. There must be something for everyone and but there was none. The city admin has no creative ideas and imagination to overlook in making a room for such fundamental healthy environs, tourist attraction and other socio-economic aspects I guess. The only good change they added since is the bike path. Too bad.
I am not too sure if anyone of us could say they are seeing the same in their country? Certainly not in my country (South Africa).. Keep sharing the miracles of Addis Ababa with us friends.. It'd be nice if the Ethiopian government could see your work which is opening a window into Ethiopia to many of us around the world.. Thanks as always.. (murakoze)..
