How much of an absolute failure is Angron?
The guy becomes a daemon prince of Khorne AND gets a major power buff and gets his arse handed over to him by the Lion, who was in a coma for 10,000 years, just woke up and is going out for a walk in the galaxy.

@Tsunamiieh Angron's story is more or less over (he's just a mindless bloodthirster in canon) so he's just there to be a foil for some people.

While Jaghatai Khan emerges from Commorragh and lionsaults off the top rope into a frog splash onto Vashtor, pinning him and vanishing him back into the Warp, his dreams of Chaos godhood unfulfilled.
The issue is angron is going to keep coming back in I think either 8 weeks or months, so how are they going to keep up the resources needed to hold him back, war fuels him and khorne remember
Before humans fought with the men of iron, when they had all that great technology, how long was that reign? A few thousand years? Did they fight wars during that time?

I think it was like 10k years. Much of what happened during that time is lost to history.
When they recover tech from back then, it's rewarded with whole worlds.
As a Black templar /salutes, get all them back, on the offensive... Bobby will be cool about it, even though, The Lion G could care less, with respect. Now with Big Johnson is back: total tau deth lol

my favorite history of the future 40K
I have always wondered what we would become in say 40,000k. In an age where humans have evolved so much that they are basically xenos to each other what would happen there. Say another age of strife happens but lasts millions of years without warp travel and the only species left were ones that can use alternative means of travel, like the Necrons or Tyranids. Maybe other sects of mankind develop alternatives as well but kept to a distance from hostile human planets. Combine this with something like "All Tomorrow's" and there is the basic plot. Maybe the chaos gods got defeated and we're replaced by another string of order gods, or maybe they came and went as well. There could be a whole new pantheon of warp spawned beings of godlike potential out there. Just imagine how many dark age of technologies and ages of strife have come and gone since then. Think about how many offshoots of humanity there are in this time and times that by thousand's.
Anybody who thinks Mortarion and Angron or any of the demon primarchs stand a chance against The MF Lion 🦁 and Bobby G is insane. Both of these guys are solo carrying the Imperium rn and all this nonsense the last 10,000 years since the HH was just that, nonsense. None of it would have happened and CLEARLY Primarchs age slowly look at Johnson so they’d have been even saltier than they are right now.
No I think the Demon Primarchs and current chaos as it is aint gonna do it they need an even stronger buff like Magnus sucking the Grey Knight GrandMasters soul out of his chest and getting back his shard or Lorgar out of Fn nowhere is like super jacked up cuz the chaos gods are pissed their primarchs keep losing so they’re gonna do a mini Horus with Lorgar.. fun… even the fall of Cadia/ great rift I feel like it’s totally solvable for them especially with Saruken Dynasty assisting… silent king will want to focus on Nids but Imperium say “no chaos first” and necrons go “ok blam warp pylons from a lost vault that’ll kind of help reduce the size of the warp/ we get a hive fleet near it while we finish it to minimize the demons” Hive Mind would probably catch on or something or have known all along and helped them attack Chaos just this once so the Biomass would be ALL there’s. Like 3 max players ganging up on the 4th then having a free for all… it would reset the setting as Chaos being this underdog and through the new “War in Heaven” pylons break and chaos is stronger than ever.. sorry I know it’s long winded but I hope my ideas get the juices flowin… totally possible as in lore necrons n Eldar took a break to kind of stop chaos
