    tforods.com/pr...
When bait gets nervous and fish start busting the surface, anglers need a tool to deliver a fly, quickly and precisely.
The Blitz series of fly rods combines years of knowledge and experience on both coasts while targeting hard-fighting, lightning-fast fish. This rod was designed to allow anglers to have the confidence to know when they spot a pod of bait busting the surface, they can quickly load and deliver a fly, often at distance and with lines of varying densities, without worrying about anything else.
The Blitz is a fast action rod, with a mid-level of stiffness to deliver heavy lines, and large flies at distance. This is ideal for anglers fishing long intermediate and sinking lines and weighted flies.
The result is that the Blitz series fly rods stabilize faster and smoother, absorb shock better and comfortably tolerate over-loading. The angler benefits because Axiom technology virtually eliminates the ability to overpower the rod when casting. Bottom line - whether you carry more line in the air or push the rod to the limit, you won’t feel any mushiness - What you will feel is the line ripping out of your hand as it launches.
The Blitz rod features TFO’s patented and exclusive Axiom technology. The series is constructed with high-modulus carbon fiber material and an embedded double-helix of Kevlar within the blank. The Blitz features premium quality cork handles with burl accents and features silver, fully anodized aluminum reel seats with built-in hook keepers.
All seven models feature alignment dots color coded by line weight, RECOIL guides by REC, and ultra-lightweight chromium-impregnated stainless-steel snake guides. All models are full wells grips with fighting butts. Blitz blanks are finished in a deep turquoise, with dark blue thread wraps and silver tipping.
All Blitz rods are packaged in a labeled rod sock and rod tube.
The Blitz series delivers exceptional casting performance and efficiency that when combined with TFO’s no-fault lifetime warranty make them the perfect choice when distance and accuracy are key. TFO. Fish The Original.

I have the TFO 7'6" Professional Spinning Rod. I own other High end rods, and this TFO beats them all for strength, sensitivity and power. I love the way it cast, and with the fast tip, the hookset is on auto pilot. I can honestly say, I have never missed with the TFO. Great Job TFO! I took my 10 year old grandson, who had never fished in his life, and he was pulling speckled trout in faster than I could bait his hook.. I want to try this new fly rod in the mountains of North Carolina!

Its a saltwater rod. Consider their blue ribbon fly rod instead.

What would be a good reel to pair with it? The only fly fishing I have done is with a cheap bigginers fly rod kit.

Glad you guys like the Professional Series! The Blue Ribbon (Moderate-Fast Action) or Pro III (Moderate Action) would both be great rods to try out. Most TFO dealers should have them for you to cast and see which one you like better based on your casting skill and preference. For a reel, check out the NTR! You can find out more information about all of these at tforods.com and at your local dealer. Thanks for watching!

Hi guys I'm looking for a 6wt for throwing hoppers and fishing light saltwater. Would you guys recommend the blitz or the LK Legacy? Cheers

Both are fast-action rods that will work great for either scenario. If you plan on spending more time fishing freshwater, I would go with the 6wt LK Legacy with the fighting butt. It can also be used in saltwater as well.

Looking for a new 7wt fly rod for searun brown trout fishing here In Denmark. How does the Blitz compare with your Mangrove coast rod for inshore wade fishing ?

Nice! The Blitz has a faster action compared to the Mangrove Coast, and it also utilizes our Axiom/Kevlar technology in the blank. Find out more at the link in the description!

We recommend that you consult with your local fly shop for fly line suggestions that match the fisheries you'll be fishing at and the types of flies you'll be throwing!
