Sadly underrated, this lady deserves much much more fame fortune accolades appreciation than she has ever had. Has a huge fan following that follow her all around the country. Possibly the most accomplished female singer this country has ever seen. I love her and all her works. Long may she continue to entertain and please her fans.

Every bit as amazing "live" as on studio recordings...indeed,more so as she is engaging with her listeners and enveloping them in her passion and emotion.
Saw her in concert during the Vinegar Joe days with Robert Palmer during my student days in German. Lovely expressive voice Star quality! Followed them.
a tear trickles. :'( remembering my mum and big sing offs in the car on the way to School and later in life to college. so many good memories that can never be taken thanks to elkie and my mother's love for her. my mum never saw her live but I know that would of made her so happy. #powerful
