The Witch Queen centers on Savathûn, who along with her siblings Oryx, the Taken King, and Xivu Arath, God of War, lead the Hive, an undead species that serve the Worm Gods. The Hive follow the Sword Logic, a religious-like belief that living beings can only justify their existence to live through combat, a tenet that is diametrically opposite to that of the Light, the Traveler and those that have allied with it, including humanity and the Vanguard, and which has been more closely aligned with the behavior of the Darkness and the Pyramids of the Black Fleet.

Just finished the campaign. Took way longer than normal for me cuz my ghost didn’t tell me to kill the wizards at the final boss, so I just kept shooting Savathun for 30-40 mins straight.

plot twist theory, past people who use the light or ghosts BECOME THE GHOST after they die. sppoooky /j
What I like is how compared to Savathun and Immaru, Fynch saw how he was in the wrong when all he wanted was to belong, so he opted to change sides and help us to stop Savathun.
Thanks for uploading these, I'm still a fan of Destiny but now I'll just watch from the sidelines

it just feels wrong to kill Savathun like that.
She could've had a few moments to reflect on her mistake. Oryx' death felt like that of a supervillain. I was exhausted afterwards. This was a strike boss..
I also don't like how the witness has big anime eyes.
I mean her ghost is alive . So her death isn’t permanent . We will find out savathun is actually a good guy leaning chaotic and she will be revived . She isn’t a villain anymore she is just a chaotic character

Yeah, I would probably wait until lightfall comes out so it would tie into this one massive story. That’s probably what I should have done. But it still is a fun expansion.
In terms of story and lore, this is probably one of the best expansions for destiny. Just gotta see what lightfall brings/adds to the table.

I have to say. This is one of this game's best expansions in terms of story. To what is to come really has me excited and makes me want to get back into the game.

Agreed that the story looks interesting (the bar was low anyways) but the core game is the same (probably even a bit worse) since launch. I played up to shadowkeep, and really, believe me, the grind is not worth it. It really starts feeling as a chore instead of a game (i play MMOs, so i know what heavy grinding is)
when the, "God works in mysterious ways", quote gets irritating. You can't help but question judgement.
Not to mention, the Traveler is cleary not God, as it has made numerous mistake salready.

This campaign does, the legendary difficulty (if completed every mission under this difficulty) will reward you with very sublime loot

Was wondering the same. Apparently, instead of working up on enemies, they decided that hard= bullet sponge, and that you get infinite ammo so the only thing wasted is time.

no, they decided to put what was gonna be in destiny 3 in destiny 2 as expansions.
There's two more seasons, after that I guess they'll get started on production of Destiny 3 but probably not for a while

@@RyanOConnell02 Not exactly 30mil but I'd say around 2-3 million for sure , since the expansion pre-orders alone were around 1.2 million and many buy the expansions on sale and after launch after seeing reviews.
I personally just finished legendary campaign and it was fkin amazing.
