He may have been a brilliant violonist, but the devil is real. He played the violin from a very Young age so I don't think he sold his soul but nobody knows. It would be pretty stupid to sell your soul for something you could achive with hard work. Eiether way i enjoy the music, it's beautifull.
Brilliant..... beauty and crystal clear and impeccable technique placed in one soul.... EXCELLENT NOTHING ELSE. Thank you for the joy you have given me and to millions in the world.
here in brazil we have a lullaby called "o meu chapéu tem 3 pontas" (my hat have 3 corners) and uses tha same mellody. i've listen to it my whole childhood but just today i figured out it comes from paganini lol
I can't speak Russian but I translated what you said and I wholeheartedly agree mate, Repin studied Paganini for years and his dedication can definitely be heard.
I am not into virtuoso music for the sake of it, as so often the music itself is not to my taste. However this is not only astounding play, but really enjoyable to listen to.
Indeed, someone once even claimed they saw the devil helping him practice! People couldn't explain a lot of things in those days, including pure violin skill it seems, ha!
@@luciano9755Yeah I mean in those days hearing someone who is claimed to be "the devil's violinist" must've been absolutely spectacular. I bet everyone who dared hear paganini forever remembered his performances.

This piece was based on a Neapolitan folk tune called "O Mamma, Mamma Cara" - a song that would spread from Italy to all over Europe becoming notably popular in Germany, Portugal, Britain and Sweden. The variations you hear in this video were composed by the great Niccolò Paganini.
I think it's an insult to convert this piece into a Trumpet piece. How the hell do you take a Strings piece and make It into a Brass one? No wonder the Trumpet one sounds awful
He was so brilliant that people thought of him as a devil creation
It's funny how naive the people are

Классическая музыка - это не всегда скучно...🤗
Very happy tune! Paganini was a genius who could play on a single string!!!
And vary a theme 20 times only on that string
The tune is from a neapolitan folk song
@@marcellomichenzi3766 Thank you; I had two music teachers from Naples, Italy!

My Blood pressure drops whenever I hear this or any Classical Music. So Fun and Inquisitive just the way Paganini intended it to be.

Paganini is melodically virtuoso

Look up Carnaval de Venice by Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst - much more difficult than Paganini's. ruclips.net/video/cRIAREfnns0/видео.html
Such an easy piece, yet so pleasant!
Franco Mezzena too has rendered a superb version of this brilliant composition.
Paganini un genio senza tempo
merveilleuse 🥰
This is so pleasant to the ear. He was so overflowing with talent that other people accused and doubted his skill a gift from the devil. Lame.
Indeed, someone once even claimed they saw the devil helping him practice! People couldn't explain a lot of things in those days, including pure violin skill it seems, ha!
Paganini got a kick out of people thinking he learned from the Devil, so he never told them otherwise and he just ran with it.
Actually it was mostly Paganini's self-marketing. Back then it must've been incredibly effective.

Wow, after listening to this I realized that a children's song I heard as a kid is not so original at all. At least the tune is not.
"Mein Hut, der hat drei Ecken", right?
The melody originally belongs to a Canzonetta from the Renaissance.

This version is soo good! Do you have the sheet music for both the violin and piano?
Brilliant indeed. However, this appears to be a short excerpt from Ernst's (1812-1865) variations on the theme and not Paganini's.
