Finding Paradise is the 2nd full episode of To the Moon's series. It follows the life of the doctors' new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.

If you’re someone who has experienced loneliness in life or someone who grew up with little friends this is a game that will touch you emotionally. It was more than a game to me, by the end of it I really felt like I was there experiencing what the characters were experiencing.
I really believe you, because from just this video, I felt a range of emotions. I'm definitely going to buy this title
If you haven’t made any friends you should go and try to make some instead of playing video games I believe
@Ensi I think you misread, it says “little friends” not “no friends”. And besides, some people are content with very few friends and solitude.
Finding it hard to believe it's good without reassurance before hand.
But I'll give it the benefit of the doubt just this once.
Only 2 minutes and I already know this will be another "right in the feels" game like To the Moon. Will try it out 100%.
You will not be disappointed. I connected more with this game than TtM so way more feels. If you can get your hands on "A Bird Story" it's a nice prelude to the story and a short play at about 1hr.
This entire “series” by the creator is absolutely marvellous and everyone should play these!!

@@zarakikenpachi1773 the “main” ones to me are To the Moon, A Bird Story and Finding Paradise, with Impostor Factory coming out soonish. With Moon, Bird and Impostor being particularly related

Finding Paradise and To the Moon as a whole has to be the single greatest piece of storytelling I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. If you haven’t seen anything, you’re missing out. I cannot wait to see this story through the new graphics.
It has been a long time😄 Love "To the Moon" and "Finding Paradise"! I cried just watching the trailer when both games were introduced a few years back and I still cried watching this now. Very simple game but the story is top-notch. I usually don't recommend games to others but this one really hits hard!
Just looking at the miniature of the video it quickley reminded me of ‘To the Moon’, considering how good it was the first one (and how it made me cry), I’ll probably get this one

Played this on steam years ago. Phenomenal game that I highly recommend anyone play. Any game that Freebirds games comes out with is a masterpiece in not only conveying a message within a heartfelt story, but the soundtracks are wonderfully put together.👏🙌

I'm missing To the moon really much, it is a game that really made me emotional. So I really think that finding paradise will be beautiful too. And on the switch it is the perfect console imo
YOU SHOULD play To the Moon and A Bird Story prior to this. At the very least, Bird Story. Do not, whatever you do, do not look for a guide or spoilers. This is one of my favorite gaming experiences and it is so special the first time through.

For me, To the Moon was a roller coaster ride of emotion. Finding Paradise was the log ride. It was calm and pleasant and wonderful, and then at the very end it hits you like a ton of bricks.

The third one is already out on pc so I wonder if that will be coming to switch soon as well? Also worth noting there is a prequel to this called a bird story so I hope they are adding that to it.
One of the best games ever is coming to Switch for more people to enjoy.

It really is a gem
To me this one hits even harder. It hits harder because in To the moon, Johnny and River spent a life time together after all, while in finding paradise, Colli “lost” his best friend very early in his life, spent almost his lifetime commemorating the only friend who was by his side accompanying him, and “help”him get through things. And all he ever wanted to do was just to meet her again and say his thank you and goodbye before he dies. And he finally did “meet” her again at the end…Man…I feel like crying again as I’m writing this.😂 Another masterpiece. Truly amazing. 👏

At the age of 13 I got into rpgs by renting chrono trigger. I've played them before but never got into them until then. I played and finished every one I could get my hands on, craving more and more. Downloading japanese and pal roms of games that weren't available to me.
Fast forward 25 years. Theres so many amazing looking old school rpgs with different styles of combat and art. Sadly, I dont have the time to invest like I used to which deters me from even attempting to play them.
I sure miss making sure I completely scoured over every nook and cranny of a new town, exhausting all npc dialog, fully decking out my party even if it takes grinding an hour outside town to afford it all(even for just the slightest upgrade). My son's turning 9 next month. I'm hoping somehow I can get him into these games so we can enjoy the stories and characters together.
Finding Paradise is the second chapter of To the Moon. Doctors Neil Watts and Eva Rosaline meet their new patient, Colin, who has lived a happy life but somehow still feels unsatisfied in his twilight years. As they travel through his memories and try to determine his final wish, they are also forced to consider the ethics of their work.
To the moon was one of the best and i am so excited for this one.
This actually looks interesting. I had goosebumps watching this trailer. I need to check To The Moon as well, it seems like a great game.

Currently playing the game and I think there’s a bug. I can’t get the memory to play after clicking on Colin. It’s when he is sitting at the piano on stage before the concert starts. Any suggestions?
oh, wow, if you haven't played this, don't let the graphic scares you away from it, it's one of the best story telling there is in gaming media. i hope more people experience it

A beautiful game BUT this Switch port is awful! Numerous times the characters froze and I had to reload from the nearest save. This happened several times in the game's climax, too.

Yes I know it's a game but this is giving me "dog movie" vibes, where it starts cute and sweet then it turns sad and heartbreaking then you end up bawling your eyes out.

Ever since I first stumbled across this recommendation on Steam, it's been nothing short of a truly wonderful surprise. I love this game and I'm certain you will too if you give it a go.
Finding these games again after my grandpa died has been excruciatingly heartbreaking. If this was an option in real life, I'd probably do it.

If you’re thinking of purchasing this game on Nintendo switch do not. I was able to play for a little bit before the game had a glitch and I couldn’t get through the game. It has a lot of issues and Nintendo does not give refund. My best recommendation is to purchase it through another system.

The first game, To The Moon, was the first video game that managed to make me cry. This sequel, while it did not make me cry as much as To The Moon did, still left an empty abyss in my heart.
Please buy this and EXPERIENCE it.

Already played it on steam. It was a really good little game.
Looks boring. How do I become the villain in this game? Where I build a army and conquer and burn everyone’s game through 😆 when the game guy is sleeping in the last part( a flaming arrow flys next to him landing in the tree. Then many more arrows, some flaming and some not. one hits him in the leg. He’s unable to move. then my character shows up takes his sword out. Raises it and swept his head off. The music is this playing as the camera moves up looking over the city with my character walking up throwing the head over. My army joins me in the shot and my army yells “hurrah the scene goes black) what do y’all think?
