As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

not true..."real" tradesmen are not missing fingers on their hands or they wouldn't be tradesman for long. maybe in these other countries where if you have 1 finger left on both hands they expect you to work that one off too

@@sharull6074 he is very skilled but I didn't like the finish on top. I thought for all that work he would have stained and coated instead of sprayed splotchy color. Also the resin could have had some color. Bottom was great though IMO

So the structural integrity on this piece compared to the disposable mass market bullshit that people but at Walmart, Target, and most "furniture" stores has to be like comparing cardboard to steel. The craftsmanship displayed in this video is inspiring. Centuries from now the mass produced garbage will be long gone and this will still be a treasure.
Garry, I would challenge you to travel to his shop, provide training using the resources available along with monetary resources. Provide assistance and support in a positive manner

I originally thought the rough looking pine-y stuff they used for the outer top was just a former for the epoxy pour, but no... it's in the final product. Same with the pieces within the epoxy, they sure as hell didn't come from the mushroom log haha. Nice job overall, but misleading title.

I counted 3 different trees. The original beam never made it to the table top, was used only on the pedestal AFAICT.
