Soak the toasted bread in the syrup and sprinkle some dry fruits as toppings. That's it. We toast the slices in a little bit of Ghee/butter. Some people pour over Rabri, that's another milk based dessert, as topping too. My Mama has tried Vanilla ice cream as topping. That works too.

6:50 Even as a Paksitani, I wouldn't eat out every day due to spice level specifically. But we do eat Pakistani food almost daily (home cooked though) with very low spice level! 😀I personally alwasy find the restaurants always go on higher side of spice level.

the correct term is " Shahi Tukra " where " Shahi " means Royal and " Tukra " means Piece, so conjointly it means a Royal Piece ( of bread ) which is a dessert.
As a Pakistani, I am so proud that your mum really like pakistani food. And it made me emotional too. And my fav dessert is rus malai but she didn't like it that's a shame and the spongy thing is made of kind of cheese. And it wasn't SHAHI SUKRA but SHAHI TUKRA and she looks really cute saying SHAHI SUKRA. And now days its quite easy to make pakistani food because we got masala boxes everywhere in the world and can be found easily and the recipes are quite easy. Next time when you take her to Pak restaurant please do make her to try kebabs, karahi and halwa. I would love to have her tasting these dishes.
