Girrrlllll yes about that Texas heat. I am melting and becoming an oil slick on a regular bases. That foundation didn’t work for me either in this heat. I also do not understand why people are saying stuff about the foundation because you clearly understood why the shade was neutral and I thought that was so great of you to explain why it is Jackie would do that. She explained that she made these shades for WOC that are not represented already in the beauty industry. She had you in mind with the last shade but she knew neutral was the way to go because, like you said, many foundations in that shade have red undertones. Thank you for explaining that and understanding. Loved this video!
Aireka Sadler got in my car yesterday after work and it was at 112 where I’m at in Texas. My thermostat only went down to 107 once it was cooled down. It’s going to be like this for me for the rest of the summer😩😂😭
I feel like Nyma might have even purple / blue undertones. I don't know if anyone in the make-up biz has thought of that..? Is that a thing? When Jeffree Star had his custom foundation shade made they mixed in blue.
I thought it looked fine on first application, I believe you're so use to not being able to purchase anything that'll match your skin tone without mixing that you're not recognizing an exact match. I'm not saying this to be sarcastic or anything but I think the shade was an exact match when first applied from my view of course I'm not there in person to tell but just my observation through my screen. Congratulations to Jackie and big ups to her for implementing your skin type in her creation very unselfish and considerate of her....
And I hope this isn't taken out of context, a lot of times we routinely do things in such a redundant way for so long because that's the only way we feel it works in our favor instead of seeing the possibilities of a new way, we still in addition will add on our personal twist because in our minds that's the only way it'll work.
I'm a pasty ginger but I think it would be so cool if she made a line that was just for POC. Because other brands cater too much to the lighter people.
Jenna Miller definitely! I also think brands need to make super light shades, as some of us are literal ghosts. But yeah I totally agree, brands defffffinetly need more super dark/deep shades
Welcome's House please don't try to school me on some thing I am knowledgable abt I'm from Ghana and very dark but nyma is way darker than me . my comment was high lighted cause its the truth
Welcome's House I love all the various ebony skin tones. I love seeing them on RUclips. We hardly have any Sudanese people in many parts of America. They are beautiful people, very unique. This sister is very pretty and also has a lovely spirit about her.
Some of yall are being irritating. Jackie used her as a reference, she never said they both went into the lab together. Unfortunately the undertone was off FOR HER, but the good thing is that there are thousands of people with this exact shade and undertone that can now use this foundation. Dont try to start drama that's not there. This was a step in the right direction.. Hopefully brands are paying attention and will present an opportunity to Nyma to create more foundations so that she can further push for inclusivity in the industry.
It’s crazy how everyone seem to be a fan of both women but don’t actually listen to them when they speak in their videos. All these comments talking about “I thought it would be your perfect match” and the “undertone off” or “looks gray/green” shows how very little people pay attention to what’s being said. Women of Nyma’s skin tone with neutral, olive, and golden undertones ARE NOT represented in the spectrum. That’s why she didn’t make it red. Darker shades are too red already.
Annieso same! I’m Italian and super pale, but my favorite videos right now are for WOC makeup and hair tutorials. The amount of effort that these beautiful women go through is extraordinary and it’s disheartening that brands won’t better represent everyone. I feel like I took for granted that I can wash and dry my hair in under twenty minutes and be done, and can find a foundation in every drug store. We have a lot of work to do to say in the least to make sure everyone from pancake batter pale to an actually deep shade that’s called “dark chocolate” or something similar and is actually dark.
I love that foundation on you because it doesn't give you that red look that most foundations give you. It blends in with your skin tone and you aren't used to that. Its beautiful Nyma!!
When she was outside it really didn’t look right against her chest. With the set lighting and color correction that digital cameras do automatically, it’s hard to actually make out people’s undertones. We shouldn’t be out hear claiming that people can’t see for themselves what matches their undertones when we’re only seeing them on camera.
While it’s unfortunate that this wasn’t a perfect match for Nyma that doesn’t mean that Jackie flopped. Jackie used her as a reference and it paid off. She gave those at the deeper end of the spectrum shades that would match their skin tone but instead of one for a array of skin tones she gave us at least 3 with varying undertones. Meaning someone like Nyma who typically ends up with a shade that makes her look orange or her sister who usually has to deal with a foundation that isn’t at all her undertone both have options. Thank you for your time and honesty Nyma.
I am truly very impressed with Too Faced for doing this for the ladies and especially for bringing along a WOC to really represent and work on this collection! It makes me so happy to see the movement in the beauty industry to offer more shades. You look beautiful Nyma! and YASS congrats to Jackie on this launch!
TEA TIME yeah they can. I wonder why brands don't add an extremely deep shade that can be mixed with other shades to create their shade rather than making more shades. LA girl did that but it was a pure white foundation used to lighten foundations
It’s not so much darker as understanding color; Nyma is blue! She needs a foundation with blues in it. Everything shows up reddish ruddy brown on her, and she’s just not brown. Or red. She is blue. Jackie is green (olive), other “black” people are actually peach and copper, and white folks are red and pink. Almost every foundation gets it wrong because no one seems to be able to see real colors.
Personally I think they should get 40 influencers of shades fair porcelain all the way to deep mahogany because while I can tell the missing shades are VERY weighted towards the darker spectrum, as a verrrrry pale gurl I struggle to find my shade as well. I defiantly agree that there is a lot MORE of work to be done for some brands to fix they’re darker shades but honestly, I feel like no one should ever have to mix, wherever they are on the colour spectrum
Use a layer of red color corrector under your foundation, set, then apply that neutral dark shade, set and don’t spray. Your face will excrete the oils to make you dewy without using a setting spray for that immediate dewy look. Especially with that Texas heat.
@kj Yes it creates a barrier between your foundation and your skin which makes it last longer The oils of your face will have a harder time coming through so fast and breaking down your make up when there is a barrier in between The powder before foundation method is not for everyone tho only for people that have more oily skin most people don't need it a good primer is enough
I get what you’re saying but I think wearing a layer of colour corrector can make it a bit heavy. I know you’re trying to help but I don’t think woc should have to find a way to make products work for us because they don’t cater to us. I think brands should just do the decent thing and correctly create undertones. Like I’m from South Africa and most of our population is women of colour and MAC here still has the audacity to match us all to NW45 even when we’re not that dark or have more golden undertones. I think the beauty industry just becomes lazy when trying to put in the effort for dark skinned women.
Santhuri that’s so true. As a white person ive never had to worry about finding a foundation shade (even though I still can never match myself but that’s on me😂) and afternoon starting to watch Nyma and Jackie I’ve always researched the shade range of the foundation I’m interested in to make sure it caters to woman of color, I’m not tryna support a brand who doesn’t support woman of ALL color, not just women with my color
@@Santhuri24 I get that, but unless they mean adding red to your whole face, some folks with darker skin tones benefit from color correcting because of the varying undertones on the face. When I’m doing a client I often mix 2-3 shades for my dark skinned clients to make it look the most seamless. If there’s multiple shades on the face putting one shade everywhere will never look even no matter the undertone
I actually like your natural face before the make up.with just the eye shadows and lip gloss. Also where is your make up line? I love trying knew items.
Your natural skin color is magical. I have binge watched your videos, and have come to the conclusion that you do not need foundation. Your skin is what foundation only hopes to achieve. I know, getting an even finish is the desire, but your complexion is breathtaking without any makeup!
Nyma, u were so positive and classy with your comments. You supported another RUclipsr and gave good feedback even though it didn’t quite work for you. I love that and love u!!!
Jackie did say she consulted and referenced nyma. But Referencing someone doesn't mean you create it for them. There are way more deep dark shades w red undertones (I still don't have a fenty shade lol!) Than not. So i bet Jackie made it more neutral for the those with nymas shade but hacd a neutral undertone bc they are less likely to find a match. Even nyma mentioned that in this vid
I can see your skin tone so much better in natural lighting you always say you have red undertones but with the beauty lights it definitely looks more neutral. It’s just so crazy how much lighting can change things! I always enjoy your videos! 💗
Jackie did an awesome job. I know first hand how the Texas heat can ruin all dreams of flawless foundation. Its darn near disrespectful. LOL. You look beautiful as always Nyma.
Hey_Maya What foundation do you use that doesnt melt off? It averages 103 here in summer and I still cant find a primer foundation combo that stays put so I end up bare faced and blah all summer. Please help!
AyyanToo if you can you should try it in store or get a sample. With their original colours/formula I found it to be quite matte. It all works differently depending on your skins chemistry ☺️
I recently discovered your channel after seeing you on Instant Influencer and thinking “that chick is GORGEOUS”. I love that even when you’re speaking up and telling brands they’re fucking up with products for deep complexions, that you do it in a kind, yet professional way! You are so kind and I love your channel!
Nobody NEEDS makeup, but a lot of people choose to wear it because it’s fun and it’s art. I’m not trying to start a fight and it’s clear you were giving a compliment but I think everyone should be able to do whatever they want with their face. All love though.
TheRosemaryWest The comment was referring to how beautiful she is that she doesn’t even need makeup, THEN stella here decided to take it a negative way saying that everyone gets to do whatever they want blah blah blah. it was a fucking compliment get the fuck over it
Jessica Guerrero Safesquad99 doesn’t seem to care, why do you? Anyway she said she didn’t want to start a fight and calmly explained y the comment was a little weird. U took it too far and acted rude. Look in the mirror before you go around calling people snowflake
When Nyma Tang puts on foundation only. I feel like she's done. Becaue it looks like she put on bronzer and every other shit we put on our face. Just her skin is too perfect.
This video taught me a lot about the need for more deep-skinned foundation! You still needed to mix two foundations to get the right shade :/ thank you 😲
Agree, if I had a skin as perfect as hers, I’d never wear foundation. Maybe only if I had a full face of makeup, to balance it out. The rare days that I’m blemish free, and it’s a hot day I’m not dealing with the hassle. It is however annoying that people with skin tones on both ends of the spectrum have such a difficult time finding a perfect match. Even for me, with a huge set of options, it can be a challenge finding the perfect shade.
Let’s be honesty.. Nyma is super honest when it comes to foundation but I feel like she was trying really hard to make it work. I don’t think it’s close at all. Still love you but she could make one or two more darker colors?
This foundation was made with a neutral undertone, so of course it doesn't match. Now, what too faced can do next is make equally dark shades but with more undertones.
Soo gorgeous! I'm really glad/proud Jackie improved the shade range for this foundation. I've heard nothing but good things about this foundation but haven't been able to try it till now!
Nyma, Nyma, Nyma!!!! Woman!!!!!! Can we TALK ABOUT THE HAIR!!!! Oooof!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 YESSSSSS!!!! 3 years too late but I know I’ve seen this video but I never paid much attention to the hair. I LOVE IT & IT LOOKS AMAZING ON YOU!!!!!
This is so gorgeous. Everything really did come all together. I’m also excited to see when you mix the two foundations together to get your true undertones to pull out.
GIRL!!! you've probably heard this a lot but WOW, you are absolutely STUNNING AND GORGEOUS. your skin is flawless, your bone structure is beautiful, you legit have natural highlight! I just had to get that off my chest , your gorgeous
I watch a lot of your foundation reviews and I’m always amazed. I see you put on full-coverage makeup and your skin really looks no different. #skingoals
I think she actually looked better before the foundation time. I feel bad for her but excited that I might actually have a shade for myself (I’m thinking Sable would fit me).
Eliana Sophie I'm so glad to see your comment because I've been wondering if I'm losing my mind. I have yet to see a single flaw on her face. Not one time.
OMG Your skin is soooo beautiful....its stunning!...i LOVE that this is happening. Companies should def.be more inclusive AND if they don't know how to make darker shades, they should definitley COLLAB with those who know what it's about!
Beauty andSahar o agree her skin is beautiful but people like you are fake and drive towards popular people. Plenty of women as dark as her in the streets that you probably dont even acknowledge or you probably think you are better than them.
Amelia stephenson wow you judged me right away; i live in the Philippines where some of my CLOSEST friends and family members are mocked EVERYDAY because of the color of their skin. I am mixed blood so my skin is lighter. But IMAGINE how angry it makes me feel to have people around me say that i should just ignore the hate because they do not want to cause a fight? And to read your comment JUDGING someone YOU DONT EVEN KNOW.
Amelia stephenson edited: next time you JUDGE someone you have never even met, STOP. And remember that there are people who are good and kind. That there is goodness. You dont have to believe that I am; but don't think you know me.
This issue happens to super fair shades as well they just tend to run yellow or neutral. I’m definitely on the cool side and foundations either run too neutral or they are super pink which isn’t what I need. I need more Casper with a hint of pink. BTW, I love watching your videos. You probably have the most gorgeous skin I’ve ever seen.
carriex2 Nyma was talking bout undertones tho, undertones make or break a shade. Its all well and good if a foundation has a really pale foundation but if its a pink undertone I cant wear it or as the other people in this tread are talking about it being a too yellow or neutral.
Your natural skin is so gorgeous!! I think you’d look gorgeous with maybe just some concealer and a bright eye look. The most amazing think about your dark skin tone is that you can rock bright colours, in makeup and clothing. You’re just so gorgeous 💕💕
i do agree that it was a bit off on her skin tone she looked beautiful when she put her full face but before that it was wayyy too neutral which gave her a green tint on camera . i’m also a red undertone but i’m a tiny bit lighter then Nyma so i’m probably gonna go with sable i’m gonna get a sample and see! nonetheless Jackie is Queen all the way and Nyma i love you keep slaying your beautiful skin!!!
You do not understand how much I love your skin . Not just how smooth it is but the complexion is too beautiful. And you button nose honey 😍. I just love you so much .
@N P cuz she said "I'm white as hell" which technically could be taken as if white is like hell, and hell isn't white but usually depicted as fiery red and dark. Basically she took it literally.
You have such beautiful skin and genuinely started crying because no one should have even the slightest trouble finding a perfect match for their skin tone. Although I’m only 17 I want to create a makeup empire and create skin tone matches from the fairest fair to the deepest deep.
You are so gorgeous Nyma! I love your hair like this, so big and voluminous 😍😍😍 Thanks for being so sweet and nice about the foundation, being happy that other girls will get use out of the neutral undertone even if it's not for you 👏🏾
This is verrryyyy green/neutral on you though 🙁 but they made progress going this deep in the first place now! Lol Jackie did a good job but it’s okay !!! I would like to see your sister try it though!
Kelia Coleman I feel like it only has a green tinge on her forehead but that could be because the added a red shade on top and the blush. Maybe the lighting made it more dramatic?
It could also be the primer too!! It looks better in natural lighting, but gotta give Jackie props for considering Nyma when making this new range ! 😁💗
I think Jackie's thought process was that a neutral foundation in such a dark shade would be decently wearable for everyone with that skin tone, instead of making 2 that would fit warm and cool undertones perfectly.
I'm genuinely confused 'cause i swear Jackie said she used Nyma as a reference for the darkest shade. But if she was the reference why did the foundation not match her? Still having to mix two sounds kind of annoying :(
I remember Jackie saying most darker shades are usually red (tarte video maybe?) and that there are more undertones than just red so thats prob why she made it neutral. I could be wrong. That's just my thought as to why she did that.
Kute Kay I think you're right, it's almost like she got it mixed up or something. But I feel like Nyma has the opposite problem, most deeper shades have a more golden/neutral undertone but she wants red
Hey Nyma, just came across your channel. Have you ever tried black up foundation? The brand was created specifically for women of color & their foundations may work really well for you.
You have the cutest nose and the cutest voice. Are those strange compliments? Hope not. Watching you just made me so happy. I'm so impressed at how you and Jackie Aina are so precise with your shade matching and understanding of undertones. I have a plethora of white-geared shade ranges to fuss with and still can't shade match to save my life, but I feel like watching you guys has helped me get better.
You inspired me so much to start my RUclips Channel! I am actually the lightest shade, and I have a hard time finding foundations, but it was always so inspiring watching you! Getting closer to 1,000 Subbies!!
Someone else mentioned it in the comments below but please look into Flesh cosmetics. It is now on Ulta's sight and they have beautiful rich brown and chocolate colors for us deeper toned women. It is affiliated with Revlon. It's worth a try 😉
Girrrlllll yes about that Texas heat. I am melting and becoming an oil slick on a regular bases. That foundation didn’t work for me either in this heat. Priscilla Fuentes definitely! I’m in Austin and it’s been 98 all week 😩😩
Sweet Home Alamanda thank you and yes, we need bigger shade ranges, in general, from every company! They need to step it up.
Aireka Sadler got in my car yesterday after work and it was at 112 where I’m at in Texas. My thermostat only went down to 107 once it was cooled down. It’s going to be like this for me for the rest of the summer😩😂😭

queen Nyma 💛I adore you so much and appreciate not only your review but your constant support in general
Jackie Aina AYEEE Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie Jackie❣️
Awww :)
And this Ms. Jackie Aina is why you are so loved and appreciated!

Nyma, forget all these brands. It’s time you came up with your OWN line girl. I’mma support you. Change the makeup game, girl.
Vanakkam Gi right!
I'm a pasty ginger but I think it would be so cool if she made a line that was just for POC. Because other brands cater too much to the lighter people.
@Victoriaa.Cc yeah even tho I'm a ginger im Italian and my undertone is olive. But I'm very pale

@@alyssa_faith a lot of brands do tho. The tarte shape tape foundation was all for fair skin
when she was swatching the foundation really close to the white top i started sweating
Saaaaaame haha
Why?
Cindie213 Mya213 foundation can stain the white top
HAHAHA
Cindie213 Mya213 Once foundation gets on something white, it’s never coming out EVER
Someone needs to do a foundation collab with Nyma for darker shades!
Nia B. Yea cause dark skin comes in different hues a Ghana dark is way different from a southern Sudan dark.
Nia B. My thoughts EXACTLYYY
it’s that south sudanese skin baby 🇸🇸🇸🇸 all genetics
Your skin is so smooth with literally no bumps or imperfections. Geez I'm so jealous lol
ambdance00 exactly right. I wonder how she does it, wish my skin was flawless too
ambdance00 Yes it is. Nyma doesn’t even need foundation, I’d slap on a cc/B.B. cream and be out✌🏽
MzzAJD I would wear nothing at all. Im so jealous lol
She has really good skin, but I think she also uses filter to make her skin appear smoother. But yeah, her skin is awesome
Her skin is so flawless she looks like a sculpture like how
can we get a skin care routine because whatever you’re doing, I need.
Morgan the little Prince I think it’s partly genes
@kj orrrrr she has a skincare routine
when God was giving out melanin you got in line a few times, your skin is beautiful doll
island gal such a cute comment, I immediately imagined her being in the line and going back at the end.
YO THE COLOR OF HER SKIN IS EVERYTHING 😍😍.
SO BEAUTIFUL 😍😍😍

Glamazon Jay 000
Somebody actually listened!!
girl we are no where near the same shade but I LOVE to watch your videos. I am captivated by your skin and entire energy.
A Thick Girl's Closet same 🙌🏾🙌🏾

COSMEHOLICS ANONYMOUS could not agree more Boe
The queen has spoken
I SECOND THAT... girl you are GORGEOUS !!!🤩🤩🤩.
COSMEHOLICS ANONYMOUS I love when I see you comment on other RUclipsrs I watch videos ❤️❤️❤️
I love that foundation on you because it doesn't give you that red look that most foundations give you. It blends in with your skin tone and you aren't used to that. Its beautiful Nyma!!
Marva Houpe I think so too!!
I think it looks really pretty too

your skin, your face structure, cheekbones, nose, eyes, lips... they are so perfect
I still feel like the shades aren’t deep enough. Like why isn’t there a deeeeep dark shade for the super melanated goddesses out there
Because people's faces on women of color are usually darker than their chest. They match to their chest, not their face :)
Kay Boogie ikr
Sarah Gallant it is lighter than her chest
Mary yy no it's not. It's the undertone that is wrong.
Sarah Gallant that was lighter than her chest
While it’s unfortunate that this wasn’t a perfect match for Nyma that doesn’t mean that Jackie flopped. Jackie used her as a reference and it paid off. Jackie used Kermit as a reference so if u want a perfect match and are deep cool toned pick a shade between kiwi and lime
If it's a reference to it should be a match and it wasn't. It didn't match her skin tone what's so ever. It's a fail that can corrected
You LITERALLY have the most beautiful skin I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!
There's also this new brand called Flesh Beauty and their shade range for deeper darker complexions is actually pretty dope
MJ4829 this needs to be boosted
do you know if they’re cruelty free?
bea bun you can find their products on ultas website now. They are owned by Revlon. I can't remember if they are CF though.
She needs to try their foundation omg
Yes to Flesh! It's legit the only company besides MAC and Fenty that offer more than a few legit dark shades.
Is it just me or does it still not go deep enough?
No it does not! Maybe it was the lighting?
Agreed
f Xx it doesn’t.
Her face is darker than her neck and chest. Which is what she’s matching to I think
It’s suppose to match her chest not her face 😂😂 an it clearly matches her chest very well
Am i the only person who thinks these colors can still go darker???
TEA TIME yeah they can. I wonder why brands don't add an extremely deep shade that can be mixed with other shades to create their shade rather than making more shades. LA girl did that but it was a pure white foundation used to lighten foundations

YES!
The brand that brings in 20 influencers of color to make their own individual PERFECT shades on the dark end of the spectrum will win.
Fenty Beauty SIS
So true
I think Rihanna was on the right track. Not sure how dark her foundation shades got but I'm pretty sure she'd kill all the beauty brands out there...
Rihanna killed it shade wise. Formula wise it didn’t work for a lot of people that I know

Same omg
Jeekai W right
I agree. Her face is flawlessly
Jeekai W girl yes..... She is beautiful and all women of color deserve to have a foundation...
Flawless! Inspired!
Most super dark foundations are red undertones so the fact that it's a neutral undertone I think this is a plus. I think it's a pretty foundation.
JayCeeTee, I don’t see how it’s a plus. There should have been options for red and neutral undertones.
Jessica Nicole there are
Your natural skin color is magical.
I WAITED FOR THIS EVER SINCE JACKIE MENTIONED THE NEW SHADES!!
Deema G Same
It's illegal to be this damn beautiful, ARRESTED!
You have the most beautiful skin ever. I'm literally obsessed!
Dior have just launched a new foundation that's water and sweat resistant. The shades go pretty deep too. Give it a try xx
Thanks Hajir!
Hey_Maya truueee
*Waits for Auntie to appear in the comments* 👀
Ebony Hagans-Greene Dude I’m present and ready to transcribe everything Auntie says. Only comment that matters-besides this one.
She commented an hour ago. I was searching
Brittany Taylor where???🤣🤣
Marlo keenan. Idk how to show you. 😂
Marlo Keenan on my screen its right under your comment.
Wow she really looks like a doll 😍
Girl your skin is FLAWLESS
I think she was honest with saying "you do not want a foundation melting off your face" which she also said it did in the heat.... great review!😉
Yea, I def. was planning on getting this to try it but girl, I am too oily for that! :/ Hopefully they will make a matte formula one.
AyyanToo if you can you should try it in store or get a sample.
With their original colours/formula I found it to be quite matte. It all works differently depending on your skins chemistry ☺️
Daniella Willis yea I definitely will and maybe come up with ways to make it work for my skin and oily skin girls lol
She is so sweet. She really try to make it work. But the color looks almost sliver like.especially outside. That blush is beautiful.
She's so pretty she doesn't even need make up
Nobody NEEDS makeup, but a lot of people choose to wear it because it’s fun and it’s art. I’m not trying to start a fight and it’s clear you were giving a compliment but I think everyone should be able to do whatever they want with their face. All love though.
Stella moster oh stfu u snowflake
Jessica Guerrero tf are you on about? Stella is very correct here, you're being a snowflake if that offends you lol, chill sweaty.
You still needed to mix two foundations to get the right shade :/ thank you 😲
Yes, I have such a respect for her and all dark skinned people. What an hassle and disappointment not to have the right product.
I feel like your skin is so flawless, that you don't even need foundation.
HollyJ Agree
It’s not about needing foundation it’s about loving makeup
HollyJ people don’t always NEED it, they just love makeup. Don’t tell people what to do do.
Same
Agree, if I had a skin as perfect as hers, I’d never wear foundation.
You're so pretty! I can not get over how naturally GORGEOUS you are! I love you, girl!
Let’s be honesty.. Nyma is super honest when it comes to foundation but I feel like she was trying really hard to make it work. I don’t think it’s close at all. Still love you but she could make one or two more darker colors?
Karen yanet yessssss I felt her slight disappointment
Karen yanet maybe it was just too neutral. It wasn’t her right undertone. Maybe if it had more of a red undertone it would have matched better
I agree.
This foundation was made with a neutral undertone, so of course it doesn't match. Now, what too faced can do next is make equally dark shades but with more undertones.
I don’t think they’ll even bother making any more (especially darker) shades
You are such a sweetheart. Your kindness really shines across the screen.
#skingoals
Kai Vickers I always check the time stamp because it looks like her foundation is already done at the beginning of every video 😂 Flawless 😍
I think she actually looked better before the foundation time. I feel bad for her but excited that I might actually have a shade for myself (I’m thinking Sable would fit me).
Kai Vickers seriously she has the most gorgeous skin
Eliana Sophie I'm so glad to see your comment because I've been wondering if I'm losing my mind. I have yet to see a single flaw on her face. Not one time.
It looks great when she went outside. What are you guys talking about ???
I love your hair hunny. And the makeup. . I cant for you to find your perfect foundation shade. Love you
Her hair today is stunning!
She is so beautiful and it's not just an outside beauty only, it's an inside beauty as well. She skin color is so unique. God bless her.
Amelia stephenson AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION; IT IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU who fill this world with so much hate.
Amelia stephenson edited: next time you JUDGE someone you have never even met, STOP. And remember that there are people who are good and kind. That there is goodness. You dont have to believe that I am; but don't think you know me.
I agree, I was just thinking the same thing while watching this.
Fenty has makeup *literally* made for people with albinism. There are options out there for you.
they're talking about undertones, not shade range??? jeez girl you gotta chill for a second.
I'm so neutral that everything looks yellow or pink. Also too light or dark. 🙁
Marvipan Fenty shades are yellow.
carriex2 Nyma was talking bout undertones tho, undertones make or break a shade.
Woodly Elan same! I’m looking to try Sable too! But I’ve got a list of others I’m also checking out first.
Did I peep an engagement ring or am I tripping?? 👀 Well if you are indeed engaged, Congratulations!! 🙊
Flameisbrighter - Giiiirrrrllll I peeped it too 😂
You do not understand how much I love your skin . Not just how smooth it is but the complexion is too beautiful. And you button nose honey 😍. I just love you so much .
Jackie isn't God! So just because THE UNDERTONE doesn't match for 1 person that says she failed? Why do women like to dim other women's lights? Smh
ButterPecanLaudat i feel like it specially changed her foundation after she put that hourglass veil powder.
ButterPecanLaudat who said that she failed!!?? Where are you getting this from??
ButterPecanLaudat Amen!! Smh!
ButterPecanLaudat calm down lol
ButterPecanLaudat litetally who said she failed sis lmfaooo
This hair tho!!!!!! I didn't even get all the way into the video!!! Lol you are so beautiful!!!
MariaLaNiece Makeup
Yes she is soooo beautiful
I love how calm you are. I could watch your vids all day and I’m not even your skin tone. That and I looove your complexion. I find it so pretty.
We gonna talk about that ROCK right?!😍
I JUST REALIZED!!!!
YES PLEASE! Saw it in the other video and my nosey behind was like DETAILS!!
Right!!!!
lol you mean that grain of sand?
css2889 it might be a grain of sand to you but where ya ring at, musty
I’m white as hell but I watch your videos because of the honesty and your personality, love you Nyma!
Basically a Queen Hell is red tho
@N P cuz she said "I'm white as hell" which technically could be taken as if white is like hell, and hell isn't white but usually depicted as fiery red and dark. Basically she took it literally.
living for her! her voice is so calming to me, I can't stop watching!
Something is off about the color of your foundation.. It almost giving off a silvery/gray sheen.
Pervy Sage She said so many times that its a neutral undertone. That's why it looks like that on her.
Its probably just light reflection
I had this pink undertone foundation and it made my face look ashy/silvery. Wrong undertones can do this 😭
This woman is a gorgeous bar of Ghiradelli dark chocolate
Rebecca Archibold definitely
I just clicked on your channel because your skin is SOOOO beautiful! Without makeup you’re literally flawless. Idk how you don’t have more subs!
I’ve been waiting for this ever since Jackies video came out!
Me too!!!
Same!
You have such beautiful skin and genuinely started crying because no one should have even the slightest trouble finding a perfect match for their skin tone. Although I’m only 17 I want to create a makeup empire and create skin tone matches from the fairest fair to the deepest deep.
So here for ladies supporting ladies. ❤️ Not enough of this in the beauty community 💜 big love!
I know that I'm already here for it!!!
Your skin leaves me speechless. Gorgeous.😍
Ughhhh girl your skin is just goals ! It’s so bright and healthy and beautiful
*I love how beautiful and how flawless your skin is. You're the reason I started a RUclips Channel Beautiful Black Queen!*
It was giving me hella anxiety watching you swatch those shades on your chest while wearing a white top..gurl😰😰😰
you honestly have the most likeable and attractive personality. you’re so lovely
Maybe the lighting made it more dramatic?
girlgreenivy she did make it with her in mind :)
It could also be the primer too!! It looks better in natural lighting, but gotta give Jackie props for considering Nyma when making this new range ! 😁💗
I don’t think it was green, I do think it was too gold tho. If the foundation had olive/green in it I think it would have made her ashy.
I think Jackie's thought process was that a neutral foundation in such a dark shade would be decently wearable for everyone with that skin tone, instead of making 2 that would fit warm and cool undertones perfectly.
I can not get over the natural glow your skin emits due to the deeeeeeppppp pigmentation. It’s/you’re absolstely beautiful!
I'm genuinely confused 'cause i swear Jackie said she used Nyma as a reference for the darkest shade. But if she was the reference why did the foundation not match her? Still having to mix two sounds kind of annoying :(
Gabrielle Favero exactly!!
Gabrielle Favero i was thinking the same thing. Im like ummmm...
I think it was more that she Asked nyma what was missing in foundations for her shade. and Jackie made the foundation more neutral on purpose.
HOLY MOLLY the waves look BOMB on you ♥
ok but dead ass if i had skin that perfect I would never wear foundation
Same sis,same
Your melanin is like makeup 😍😍😍😍 no foundation needed gurlllll!!!
You have such beautiful skin, your colour is absolutely gorgeous that you could honestly go without foundation and still kill it
Y'all saw someone that was so beautiful it was sickening?!?!? Honey this skiiiiiin is everything.
Kiah Chism Right?! It's literally perfect. So smooth, even, with no blemishes.
I was waiting for this review ! You look beautiful girl ..😘😘😘😘
You are literally the most beautiful woman I have ever seen 😍 women of colour 100% need more recognition in the makeup community. 😭
Hey Nyma, just came across your channel. Have you ever tried black up foundation? The brand was created specifically for women of color & their foundations may work really well for you.
Yes please make a video of black up makeup range i have never seen it done before!!!
this hair is sooo pretty on you
You have the cutest nose and the cutest voice.
Getting closer to 1,000 Subbies!!
this hair is full of secrets
Adam Chenevert 😂😂😂
Lol
I love watching you do your makeup, there’s something so calming about it, not to mention your FLAWLESS and so beautiful 😍😊
OMG YOU’RE SWATCHING SO CLOSE TO YOUR WHITE SHIRT ITS MAKING ME NERVOUS
LMAO me too!!!
-haahaa sammee!!😂
Alejandra Rangel same
Someone else mentioned it in the comments below but please look into Flesh cosmetics. It is now on Ulta's sight and they have beautiful rich brown and chocolate colors for us deeper toned women. It is affiliated with Revlon. It's worth a try 😉
You look lovely and congrats to Too Faced to doing what needed to be done. That lip shade is perfect on you!
You're stunning girl!
Umpulupa red! love the review ! waiting to get mines !
oompa loompa? 😂
