Which communities sell new homes with a basement apartment? I’ve watched a couple of your videos touring these homes. Interested in learning more. I’ll be in Calgary next week, on Feb 17, 20-21... but I plan to be back for longer in the spring. Will be on vacation in Banff next week & it’s going to be a look see how winter is in Calgary. What communities do you suggest I check out with model homes on our drive put to Banff. Look forward to your insight & thoughts.
Hi @Miss - there are only a handful of communities where these are available and the pricing for a half duplex is $650,000 plus. Some builders are limiting how many properties they can sell to investors and some have stopped selling them completely - at least for now. That said, given the tight limitations, we reserve this information exclusively for our clients. If you are interested in becoming a client give us a shout!

If you are buying a income property, you need 20% down.
