So there’s this thing called economies of scale, which is when the more you produce, the cheaper each individual car becomes, because you’re able to use more mass production than before. Combined with the higher competition for the electric car market, which ought to drive prices down, plus the rising number of second-hand electric cars that’ll appear on the market, and those cars won’t be nearly as expensive as they used to be. Remember, petrol cars used to be hand-made, small batch things you had to remortgage your house for. Then they got more popular and the price of the things crashed. Same thing will happen with electric ones.

Economist collect and study thousands of information and data on the economy every year and they are no better at predicting how or were the Economy is going or what it is going to do in the next 3 to 5 years. Most would be better off throwing darts at a chart on the wall to tell people what the economy is going to do in a few years out even with all their data. Atleast asteroids wouldn't take us by surprise as pandemics did. I think 2020 should give as a lesson to be more cautious about potential big dangers. Neither pandemics nor asteroids were something we didn't knew about, we just didn't care enough.

They already knew. Check out the Economist magazine cover from 2020 before the pandemic.... It was a picture of a man, wearing a mask, walking his dog - also masked. But it gets better : the man himself is also on a leash, being led by a giant hand in the sky. All Economist covers are predictive programming and esoteric. These people speak in symbols. Because of thermodynamics, even if we continue to use gas,coal and oil. It's still better to be driving an electric vehicle. It's far more efficient to generate power in a single location rather than millions of separate locations.
Hopefully we will continue to develop the renewable sector too and eventually all EVs could be charged from a renewable resource.

When one makes a claim it needs to be backed up evidence and or data. Otherwise the claim is open to criticism and even a total rejection. This is why a research paper is usually not published before it is peer reviewed.
This is a big problem that Trump and his supporters have and that is that Trump or the supporters never back up their claims or charges with evidence or reasoning. The few times that Trrump does offer any reasoning is superficial or completely without basis in reality.
If you can't back your claim then why would you expect respect or to be thought of as making a credible point??
