I’m in the US and I have seen Thursday murder club books everywhere! Im obsessed!! I feel like i need to reread it before reading the second one.. there was a lot that happened at the end.
As an American I can say I absolutely 💖💖💖 Thursday Murder Club! Can't wait to read the sequel (it's in transit to my library right now!!) ...that said I married a Brit, so I'm already pre-disposed to like British humor 😂😂 But also my library ordered over 100 copies and there's a waitlist currently of 496 just for the physical copy -another 408 for ebook 👀- so I think it's generally popular over here too! 🔒
Okay, have you read Finlay Donovan is Killing It? Because your reaction to The Thursday Murder Club and my reaction to Finlay are basically the same. I was obsessed. Finlay gets mistaken for a hit man and gets hired to kill this lady's husband. It's amazing.
I’m so glad you loved Thursday murder club. It was such a joy to read, it makes me want to read it again watching you enjoy it so much! I am an American, but I was raised by an Anglophile, watching lots of British comedies so I’m not sure if that impacted my humor but I thought it was hilarious. 🥰

I just started Thursday Murder Club and already really enjoying it! I was wondering if you’ve read or watched the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries series by Kerry Greenwood. It seems a bit similar to Dead Dead girls because it’s set in the 1920s and can touch on some darker topics but it’s set here in Australia and all the characters are amazing. There are over 20 books, a tv series and a movie and the author is still releasing books every year so you should definitely check them out 😊
YES!!!!!! My thoughts on "The Thursday's Murder Club" are completely the same. I adored the humor, the characters, the setting... And I'm from Lithuania, I thought this book was kinda underrated, so it is amazing to see the book getting more recognition on booktube!❤️❤️

i really really think that you should read keigo higashino's detective galileo series, starting with "the devotion of suspect x." i think it will scratch a lot of the clever mystery plotting for you.
The Thursday Murder Club is on my TBR bc my cousin read and said you need to read it. Also, I love mysteries so I haven't read it but I heard that Finlay Donovan is killing it is great too.
If you enjoy the mystery/fantasy blend, you might like Broken Monsters by Lauren Beukes. Homicide detective Gabriella Versado has been doing her job for a long time, and she thinks she's seen just about all there is to see--until she's called to the scene of a murder where the victim is half-boy, half-deer, and reality is turned right on its head.
I absolutely love reading murder mysteries and get so many recommendations from you! I love the Quiet Life in the Country series and I know you're making your way through the Poirot series but I think you'll like Miss Marple better as they are cosier and I think Murder at the Vicarage is so good! Has some subtle humour that I just loved
All I think about when I hear The Thursday Murder Club is that Graham Norton interview where he talks about the success of it but every week he got an email from Irish publisher saying “good news you’re number 2” the person that was 1: Graham 😂
Thursday Murder Club was so good second one even better. Marlow Murder Club written by the same person who writes death in paradise. It was good and similar to Thursday murder club.

Have you heard of the two books ‘The House at Baker Street’ and ‘The Women of Baker Street’. Both set in time of Sherlock but the women in his life solving their own mysteries. Author is Michelle Birkby. xx

You should watch the show "Only murders in the building". It's about two older man and a young woman (Selena Gomez) investigating a murder, I thought I wouldn't like it, but it was actually funny.
