Me too, brother. Justin Elders doesn't know what he's talking about, and claiming that "Baptists are Arminians" when Southern Baptists as well as Freewill Baptists teach Calvinist doctrines to one degree or another, so it proves he knows nothing about Baptists at all.
I was a freewill Baptist since 2001, but I could never accept certain points of TULIP specifically where some are selected to be saved while others are damned because even as a former Arminian, I knew that the Scriptures that say "WHOSOEVER WILL" meant exactly that.
It was 8 years ago that I was reintroduced to the Gospel of Grace that I knew as a child and as a youth, and wild horses couldn't drag me back under EITHER heresy ever again.

Amen. The doctrines of men are not the bible. Romans 3:26-28 For He is the just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? By the law of works? Nay, but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
John 6:47 John 6:40. John 3:18. Romans 4:5-8. First John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Gods word.

IF we could do one work that would save us, then Jesus died for no reason. James was talking to believers, telling them to go on to good works for profit in heaven. Rewards. Not salvation. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Paid in full, John 3:18. No longer condemned. Gods word, John 6:47, and He can not lie. Romans 4:5-8 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 3:26-28 For HE is the Just and the Justifier of them that believe in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what Law? By the law of works? Nay, but by the law of faith. Faith is not a work. IT is faith apart from works. Romans 11:6. Therefore we conclude a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0.
Ephesians 1:13-14 Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Second Timothy 2:13. and Second Timothy 19. • @foechicken8023
      @foechicken8023 3 года назад +1

If your trust is in Christ for Salvation alone, by faith, then NOTHING/NO ONE can take that away.
      You are saved.
And know that you are not alone in this struggle. Others have suffered similar situations. Don't let the Devil steal the joy that the truth of the Gospel brings. You are saved only once and remain saved forever. Eternal life means forever/never ending. When those intrusive thoughts invade your mind pray, sing praises to God, or think on all the blessing the Lord has blessed you with.
Romans 5:1-21 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
      And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hey sister Freya, this is late response but I just want you to know that you’re not alone, my blasphemous thoughts started after I was saved too. If these thoughts are persistent and long-term it is caused by a chemical imbalance in our brain due to anxiety or OCD, though you should confirm it with your doctor. The aspect of mental health is just not talked about enough within Christianity! And of course the enemy uses this weakness to exploit us and plant thoughts in our head that are indistinguishable from our own as well. I know how bad those thoughts racing in your head can make you feel but don’t trust those thoughts or feelings, they’re not a reflection of who you are in Christ at all. You have trusted in Christ alone as savior and are saved forever, and there’s nothing you can do that can separate you from God. God is not angry with you at all, in fact he is well pleased with you because you have done the work of God by believing on his Son! God knows we have a chemical imbalance in our brain that makes us have these thoughts and he loves us anyway, and even if we meant to have these thoughts, he STILL loves us and he still died for every single sin we would ever commit. If we believe not he abides faithful, for he cannot deny himself. Jesus Christ of Nazareth started a good work in us and he will complete it! He doesn’t even see our sin when he looks at us anymore, we are so precious to him! Nothing you can ever think can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus, his blood is more powerful than anything! Things that have been helping me are preaching the gospel to myself every morning and reciting the promises of the bible when I pray, and thanking him for those promises and that Jesus’s blood is enough. I thank him out loud when I have these thoughts that his blood covers me. God is faithful and he sees everything you’re going through and loves you so so deeply and he’s using this experience to grow our faith and help us understand how powerful the blood of Jesus Christ is. In this world we are suffering for Jesus’s sake and we will be rewarded. Also remember that it’s no shame at all to seek professional help with therapy and medicine as well sis ❤️ I love you and I will be praying for you, you are NOT alone! ❤️💖❤️

Hello Pastor, thank you for the message.
I have a question. Do I need to say a prayer to be saved. Do I need to ask Jesus to come into my heart and forgive my sins?
Am I saved at the moment I believed that Lord Jesus died for me even if I did not say any prayer?
On the other hand, what if a person prayed so many many times to ask Jesus to saved him and come into his heart. And now he did not know which of those prayer is true and sincere. He is now very confused.
Do I really need to pray to receive salvation?
Is it not enough to just put your faith on the Lord Jesus Christ that he died for our sins and at the moment I believed I am already saved?

The moment you believe the gospel of Christ, he knows your heart.. He forever saves you..
      Ephesians 1:13-14 KJB -
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
You don't have to pray to be saved. Salvation is of the heart Romans 10:10
The thief on the cross did not pray- all he said in Luke 23:42-43
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Philippian jailer in Acts 16 did not pray.. all he asked Paul and Silas was " sirs what must I do to get saved?"
      Acts 16:30-34 KJB
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.
34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
Hope this helps.. The Lord bless you
      Regards,
      Bonface,

4 Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?
