Stop the video at 2:19 and you will see a horse with only one hoof at the ground. In this piaffe, you have to look only at the hindlegs - there is no normal motion. This is only normal for horses ridden by him. I would really like seeing riding him, if his horses were trained normal - he sits fantastic on a horse. But this will sure not happen - why do anything other, when you´re on the winner street?
I agree that the muscles in the back are not built up as they should be, as a result of "power riding," and not enough excercises to build these muscles up. Horses usually can not sustain being ridden at the GP level for very long without these muscles, and will usually develop back problems.
Yep. Its called a rider who is all hands. He uses rollkur, which is instead of uphill back to front he rides FRONT END IS ALLLL that needs muscle and work. He seems to forget the backend, and what dressage is all about, seat and back to front. He is what I would call a bad rider, from the training techniques he uses and how the horses he has ridden have been damaged.
Well, considering how Total US looks I think you're very correct. Very overscored ride, a pity that his horses always look hollow and tense considering his seat is amazing.
Великолепно !!! Эдвард Гал лучший 😍
Марат Занзубаев русские на месте
Pro trick: watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.

I paused and replayed and I can't see just one hoof on the ground?
Bit hollow in the back. He seems to have problems with that with his horses.

"escort the back of your horse " were the words of Nuno Oliveira and this is what Gal does with his seat ........

This horse is lame.
