Kept compairing UCONN games with Paige last year. This time UCONN has no point guard who facilitates good ball movements that cna create more spaces to other UCONN players. The absence of Dorka added more stagnant to ball movement as Dorka is very good in moving to create more spaces near the glass.

One of the games I thought would be cancelled between the time change the stadium change Dorka being hurt the mascot running into the referee. Edwards and Williams played sufficient enough to keep Providence at bay. Crooms played agreat game for Providence Baskerville and Geary foul problems. Good win for Uconn. Providence is ranked 4th un the nation in rebounding.
I want Niki Muehl to succeed as much as anybody, but she needs some inspiration to go with her perspiration. Niki, go watch the NBA's Jocavich "The Joker" shoot & pass the ball. Memorize everything he does because he's got talent. You'll never be as good as him, but he gets into position to make a good pass better than anyone: like when you threw that bullet to the chick with the blue & gold hair. Your job as a point guard is not to scoot around like a crazed Energizer Bunny. No, it's to move around so that your teammates can move around to a position for a good shot inside 12 feet. Caroline Ducharme does that well & so does Nelson the Dodo. You just aren't in position to get them the ball. It's called anticipation & watching old video of Paige & new video of "The Joker" Jocavich will open your mind to the possibilities.
Why won’t Aaliya pass to wide open cutters through the lane?! She’s faced up, looking right at the cutter and just refuses to make the pass for a gimme layup. 😖 She’s not the only one, just the most frequent offender. Giving up a LOT of easy points by not being mentally prepared to make that quick pass.
uconn is really struggling. i dont fully understand why just the loss of PB hurts a teams chemisty so much from last year. like a whole different energy. but they are young
Azzi shots look so pretty! You can tell once the ball is released if it's going in! Even her misses look good!
