You all come up with the best games. I live in a senior building. I'm going to try some of these with my friends here. Keep having fun. It's nice to see family fun. ❤😊
Thanks for another great family fun video. Coke was the first brand-name softdrink on that list, but people had been brewing their own roor beer in different forms for centuries. Sassafras, sarsaparilla, and licorice roots were the three main ingredients. I used to make my own years ago.
Dr Pepper is also not the name of the man who invented it. The man who invented Dr. Pepper actually created while working at a drug store Pharmacy. He created it as a gift for the owners daughter whom he had deep affection for but the father thought he would amount to nothing. The owner told him if he wanted to continue working for him he would have to never see his daughter again. The man decided to reluctantly quit than continue to work for such a horrid person. He took his soda idea with him and it was a huge success. Someone asked him what he called his beverage and he pondered. The only name he could think of that was so poetically perfect was to name it after his old boss. Because without his boss, Doctor Pepper, and his despicable view of the man flirting with his daughter, he would've never had the motivation to sell his product. "And now you know the rest of the story." If you know where that quote is from leave a like.
All this is true but you forgot to mention he almost created Dr Pepper in high school but during the civil war he met a soldier who gave him 23rd spice that made it perfect. After Abe freed the slaves he looked Dr Pepper right in eyes and said “it’s over…. Now pass me a cold one” and the rest is history.
It's wonderful and fun to watch these family I'm grateful there's family that have respect to love and enough ❤️ each other! I hope those words explainable.
Vernor's claims to have the oldest soda in America, but Schweppe's holds the patent for the world's first carbonated mineral water, which was created in 1783. Joseph Priestley invented carbonated water in 1767, and inventors in Europe and Britain began producing the drink in larger quantities within a decade.

That is a great game for a kids' birthday party . I've hosted a lot of them ( holiday parties, baby showers, etc.), but I've never seen this one. Great fun for all ages.
I believe Root Beer is actually the oldest and Ginder Ale....like the original Venors Ginger Ale orginally Very strong...aged in wooden kegs about 6months...I used to live against street in Detroit plant that made it...at that time it was only plant they had...had people from all over coming and touring it and they had a visitor "soda shop" where they served ice cold root beer and also a root beer float called a Boston Cooler ....which was scoop of vanilla ice cream in large glass of venor's.. A real treat in the summer.
Many, many moons ago when I was a little kid, we would visit my Great Uncle and right before bedtime he would make us a Boston Cooler. Mom would get soo mad at him!!! Awww, the sweet memories 😮🎉😂❤❤❤
Fun fact about Coca Cola: in 1886, Dr. John Pemberton man was trying to make a tonic for common ailments, like fevers and coughs, and ended up with an ironic result: An unhealthy drink, whereas he was trying to make medicine, something good for you when you're sick. Where did I learn that? When my dad was watching the History channel, of course.
Root Beer was first marketed in 1876. However,a year earlier in 1875 root tea was developed out of sassafras. A recipe was first recorded in as early as 1870, but a root syrup meant to be mixed with soda was first known way back in 1850. Mt. Dew didn't come out until the 1940s, and Pepsi was a little later than root beer in the 1890s. Coca Cola?1886. Fanta also came out in 1941 about a year after Mt. Dew. Monster...well...that's the youngest, being developed in 2002. Many of these Pops were born from pharmaceuticals.
Hi guys I ❤ answering your questions and I ❤ your family I think I would pick mountain dew ps who thinks up the games and questions I ❤them your family is amazing ❤
Root Beer is older than brand names. It was home brewed for many years before comercial sodas were "invented ". It was also called baby beer. Dr Pepper created his concoction to win the favor of the daughter of the inventor of Coca-Cola.
It wasn't until the creation of root beer in 1876 that soda began to evolve into a drink option. Cola flavored soda entered the market shortly after in 1881. Dr Pepper was created in 1885 and believed to be the first soda as we know it today followed by Coca-Cola one year later.
no matter the genre, it satisfies my soul to see the praise you bring in your annointing by the Lord God through Christ. I pray continued grace and favor over you in your annointing my brother in Christ!
Rootbeer, or any root type soda is the oldest because they were originally a fermented product made with the roots of birch trees and sassafras trees for example. The real stuff is actually really good. There was a guy in the next town over that still made the old school fermented stuff. FYI, there is a low alcohol content to the real stuff.
You're all very nice guys, you know. I just love to see your games and the.fact you're gathering together as a family. The way you guys cheer and are bond is really amazing. Hope you all never miss an opportunity of cheering together. Love you all.
Fun funny looks like fun... Root beer is oldest firm or type of soft drink... Ez to make and keep, serve hot cold ambient, it settled the west... It was a staple of all whistle stops, freight stations, general store, drug store, soda didn't make a splash until carbonation happened and ice and refrigeration... Root beer didn't really need any of that.. on with the games...
We have a restaurant in our city founded in 1917 that has been in continuous operation and during Prohibition started making their own root beer. They still make it and it’s a special treat. I don’t know when it was actually made originally but probably years before it was commercially bottled.
