Really nice .... thanks for sharing. imp question : While fermenting the batter-was the lid completed covered or half covered, please advice. Some of my friends says, due to the AC running in home entire day, we keep the batter in oven for fermenting. So if i keep in oven for fermenting, do i cover it completely ???
Thank you so much ❤️😊, it's perfect. My family loves slot, I tried so many times but I didn't make a perfect dosa. After I saw this video I made it. All credits goes to you. Hugs ❣️

Sir. Madam dosa came very we'll very neat very tasty delicious typical hotel dosa taste thanks a lot one of my cousin family from nitherland tasted and liked very much thanks for proportion Every dish I am trying
Thanks, always enjoy your videos- so helpful! What's a good brand of regular mixer/grinder (not a proper wet grinder- expensive and do I really need one??) for making the batter? The one I have, the jar sits on the motor which heats up very quickly. Consequently, the batter becomes very hot too in the grinding process.
Hello hebbar, I so love all your recipes. I want to know to freeze the batter do I ferment the batter and then freeze? Or do I freeze it before fermenting? Please reply
Freezing not recommended at all. Once you ferment the mixture, it will keep nicely in the fridge for month. The lid should have a tiny space for CO2 to escape
Hi there, love your recipes and the ease at which you detail and show them. I see you use the magic bullet for blending the mint and coriander for the pani puri. We have a Kenwood which we use for blending the dhal for Bhagat Muthill, but you end up shaking and shaking it etc. What did you use for this rreceip ? Could you use the bullet if if we're a smaller amount ? Thank you
Watch the video carefully when she is pouring the rice. It is 3 cups. You will notice it if you change the speed of the video to slow. Shuld have added subtitle to tell the measurement properly.
This looks great! I just bought some premade dosa flour (not a mix..just ground rice flour and ground urad dhal) does anyone know how to make dosa using this kind of flour? Does it need ground methi? Must it ferment? Can you make idli with it? Thanks!
Hello mam I'm ur new subscriber every time i make Dosa it doesn't make crispy... I use basmati rice as i don't know which rice is suitable for Dosa if u guide me it would be great..
with this same batter (if the rice is ground coarsely) idlis can be made right.. because in your website all other types of idlis are there except this one
Foe fermentation we have to keep the batter in refrigerator or outside the refrigerator......Please reply fast because I have to make idli on 15th of October
Hi thank you for your video. I'm from Brazil and would like to try this recipe. What type of rice do I use? Also how long can I keep the batter in the fridge?
If you have an Indian store there you can buy sona Masuri rice and urad dal but if you don't, you can use any type of white or brown rice you have. For urad dal, you can use black gram
3cups rice -soaked for 5hrs
1cup urad dal-soaked for 3hrs
1cup poha
1/2spoon methi daane
Blend it
Leave it for overnight
Dn make dosa ..😍
