How to make a tall flower arrangement - FLORISTRY/FLOWER ARRANGING - HOW TO ARRANGE FLOWERS IN FOAM

This weeks tutorial uses some simple supermarket Gladioli and Roses to create a beautiful linear arrangement. With the addition of some garden foliage, you'll have a simple yet stunning arrangement.
This arrangement follows patterns and structure to make a formal design with a soft subtle colour scheme, its been arranged to be viewed from the front. This style can be used for reception desks, entrance ways or anywhere where it will be placed against a flat wall.

That was a nice combination Sharon, with the candle, as I do like using Gladioli.
Can you tell me the name of the Bamboo as I haven't seen that type before? Thanks

I'm not sure of the variety, this one is a foraged plant from a friends garden. Phyllostachys or Bamboo come in many different varietyies including one with an amazing black stem. Just be careful as they are invasive.

Bamboo is nice looking but how do you keep the leaves fresh?

I don't have any problems keeping the leaves fresh, but the air here is very moist and it doesn't get chance to dry out. Thanks for the question.
