    Michael Singer's messages are so down-to-earth and incredibly invaluable. Anytime I feel out of whack, I just need to listen to a little bit of him to get back on track

    This is exactly what Daoism teaches. Go with the flow. Don’t struggle. Don’t resist.

    I will definitely use this when I have to pay my bills. Especially when I don't have money to pay for anything. Will tell everyone "this is the way the universe works" and "I did my best". Have tried to make sense of this, but the reality is one needs to survive and provide... hard to do that thinking of processes and letting go when you need have no margin of error and you ALWAYS have to be right or if not your family suffers.

      Don’t forget, this new age philosophies are for the already privileged ones (Buddha himself used to be a prince, and still wasn’t happy!). Do you know the Maslow pyramid of needs? What Michael singer teaches us is the tip of this pyramid. Your other needs have to be met, not in a super high standard way, but you need to have the rest first before you can go into introspection and spirituality. Stay strong and try to find a way to meet your needs. Put spirituality aside for a while or just try to find the things that actually help you. If it isn’t Michael Singer for now, that’s totally okay. Maybe you can return one day to this video. You’re seen and your criticism is right!

    How do you deal with abusive toxic work environment?

    • @Onthe9thlife3730
      @Onthe9thlife3730 Год назад +3

      You find another job while watching out for stuff you know are red flags. You can't change a toxic environment, like a puss filled wound it can only be drained and cleaned.
      You can't change toxic work environments from within because the very top of the chain of command is allowing it to be that way so you can only control you which is to do self protective actions and find somewhere else.

      @@Onthe9thlife3730 thank you for your reply. This video gave me the impression that we are supposed to stay there and see what it has to teach. But i was in an abusive work environment which broke me and made me lose my self confidence. It did not teach me anything but only drained my energy. This thing about surrender naybe works for some but i think we cannot be stupid and wait for something to change but we should protect ourselves.

    I think I understand. But when he says we just need to flow w the universe what about when I listen to law of attraction (abraham hicks) she says that we are the creators of our reality and we came here and have the power to have and be what ever we want...we came here to enjoy life and yiu can do that. So I hear both messages. But a little confused. Is it wrong to have wants and desires ?

    these are mechanisms not real life.. you are who you are and it’s a result of life experiences.. this is a message that just puts all responsibility to get out of your head, no guarantee.. just don’t worry… maybe or maybe not going to work out

      Personal story/history/experiences that then colour who we are in that moment, that saying about people carrying baggage with them, it's not actual physical baggage but our experiences we've had that have left us wounded.
      Anytime you go "but XYZ" ask why that 'but' came up, and recognising that it's something from the past that stopping you from being the best in the moment.
