This is incredible. So well-implemented -- so powerful yet seamless -- hot damn this is such a sweet BOTH UX AND DX -- really, amazing. Persist blows my mind. What a feature. It just removes a barrier that has always existed, and abstracts it into non-existence... what? the full astro components with all their state are one and the same now across pages? forward and backward through turns of history? wow, seriously, this is transformative, it enables thinking in a much simpler way -- there is only one component, and it moves with the user through time ... I need to look more at how this works. What I'm wondering right now is, does the new page get to assign new values to the props or other state of the component? how is state retained and/or re-assigned across page turns?
