The starter always goes bad on the 660 man but after you fix everything their a dream

I want to put a normal no linkage style shifter on my raptor 660. .some one said it will shift harder and less smooth with out the linkage. Is this true? Why is it that some ATVs have linkage style shifters

Bro! I’m tore in between an 01 Raptor and and a 2002 Banshee. I’m trying to buy this weekend.😅 I haven’t ridden in years. The last time I road was when I was a kid. Me and my brother used to ride together. I’m not sure what to buy. I’m trying to do a little bit of dunes, trails and hills. Any recommendations?

What experience level would you put this quad at?
I've owned several of these bikes over the years. The engine itself is no worse than any other sport quad, i.e doing the top-end, valve adjustments, etc.
The one area where they can be tricky is in doing carb adjustments. There are not only two carbs, but one of them is responsible for supplying 2 of the 3 intake valves with fuel while the other only supplies 1. So setting up the carbs can be a bit of a challenge and you have to remove them to change the jets.

This quad is pretty powerful. Has plenty of torque and really shines with top speed. Most likely would want to stay away from this if you were a beginner. If you have some riding experience and are patient to learn, you could take it slow on a 660r!

I have no experience with quads and bought this same model literally two days ago, and yesterday I got chucked of at the dunes and flipped going downhill as it landed on my leg(I'm good tho and so is the raptor
How much the 660 Raptor can bear
Thinking about getting a Raptor 660, is it a good buy for a first atv?
I love the Raptor 660r. If you haven't rode much in general this would be a risky first quad! It does handle great and ride easy. Honestly though, I think after a week or two of riding you would get comfortable and be fine.

I have a raptor 50 it’s slow but I have a plalaras 500 scrambler 4 stoke and it will fly.
Hes going half throttle.. when i full throttle mine stands up!

ttg.jashun3x 223 I’ve raced 660’s vs 700’s multiple times and they’re literally neck and neck , as for the banshee... the best chance the banshee has is off the jump but can barely take it there too
