Its always been my favourite effect. In camera just makes it perfect
Those timelapses are great! Especially the traffic ones, so bizzarre and unique! I have this lens and love the effects for photography but its even cooler for timelapse
Glad you like them!
The first timelapse I remember seeing on RUclips was made with a tilt lens (Bathtub V by Keith Loutit), shot in Sydney Ports, it was excellent.
He's a legend! Super nice guy too
Great to know there is a T/S lens for L mount!
For even more fun, see whether you can borrow a Canon TS-E 50mm Macro lens and adaptor. It adds shift, I think about 12mm.
Keith Cooper talks about TS lenses, and wrote a book about them.
That is really nifty. Artificial tilt shift can look good sometimes, but this is in a whole other class. Thank you for the demonstration!
My pleasure!
Great video!!! I was trying this a week ago with a Canon 24mm F2.8 TSE lens. It did not quite work. I will try it again following your video.
Glad it helped!
Or you do this tilt shift effect in post? Then you can decide after the shooting, where focus should be
I love mine; it's a fun lens. Want to get out and use it for timelapses. 15 fps, you say? Good to know.
I render my sequences at 25fps so they're like all my other shots, but then while editing the video I set the speed to 60% which gives you 15fps fyi!
@@MatthewVandeputte Much thanks. I shall experiment with this.
Can you use it on Fullframe or APS-C?
It's a full frame lens yes
@@MatthewVandeputte thx for the fast answer, now i know what i need for my next timelapse 👍🏻
