    I really enjoyed your review. It was straightforward, in depth enough, and I trusted your opinion. Also I appreciate the cinematography. It was well worth their investment to send you the chair.

    We are fulltime RVers and travel all over the country and ALWAYS have a chair in the truck or car for when we find ourselves by the river or some ones campsite. We will need to give these a look.

    Seems like at this price point, they would include a good basic "stuffsack"carry bag. I see they make a number of them and do included them in some bundle deals, however I still feel a simple smooth compact pouch should be included with a $90 chair.

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  3 года назад

      Hey Rivka! Yea I don’t disagree. The only thing I’d say though is that since the chair is so small, I tend to throw it in my backpack anyway, vs the larger chairs you carry over your shoulder with the pouch. I thought it would be a bigger deal when I first got it, but honestly I never even think about it anymore.

    Cliq is a great car camping chair. It is too heavy and bulky for backpacking. That is where the REI Flexlight Air and Helinox Chair Zero comes in.

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  2 года назад +1

      Yea you said it. Honestly I pack so much other gear, on a bigger backpacking trip I usually just bring a small piece of foam that I use as a seat. The Cliq chair, and now my new Sitpack Campster go with me on most day hikes and tailgates.

    Is the Cliq still your favorite chair or any newer products you've tried that are better?

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  2 года назад +6

      Hey Dan. I’ve tried the Sitpack Campster and really like it, but Cliq is still my favorite. Cliq is heavier, but very sturdy on uneven ground and is by far the most comfortable chair I have. I took it hunting and sat in it behind a ground blind for 3+ hours and it was great. I’ve tried a few random ones that friends have that require poles and assembly every time you open them and I’m just not a fan. Cliq all the way for me. Hope this helps.

    I really like it but am concern if the chair will be stable on the sand at the beach

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  3 года назад +1

      Valid concern. I’ve used it on the river bank and it was great, but that sand was more compacted. I’ll be bringing it to the beach in a couple weeks but haven’t used it on soft sand yet. Honestly though after a lot of use I’m pretty confident it will be a great beach chair too, the legs are angled outward, so they might sink some but not so much that it would be an issue. I’ll know for sure in a couple weeks!

    I'm looking hard at this chair. Holding off though because it seems like one body twist would torque corkscrew those 4 seat supports which are not connected to each other.

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  3 года назад +3

      I know what you mean. I don’t know if I’m taking “proper chair technical talk” but the whole thing moves or racks with you. So if you’re sitting and twist your torso one way, the seat moves a bit with you. You can’t do a 360 or get crazy but it has some give. I still love this chair. Legit every soccer game for one of my kids I have someone ask me about it too, especially when they see me open it.

      @@PerformanceOutdoor Alright, thanks for the feedback. Can't expect to do a flying flop like my home sofa, of course, but the 225 lb limit on my 'traditional' camp chair is starting to rip gromets with my 180 lb frame. Now, time to sell it to the better half. Thanks again.

    Thank you for this video. It is among many that I've watched and read all comment threads as well. I actually ordered a Cliq Chair today, due largely to this video. I have one question though. They say the legs are made of aircraft type aluminum, and I'm hoping the central piece (the gold piece) is also made of aluminum, not plastic. Can you tell me if that is the case. Thank you very much sir. Cheers from Canada.

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  2 года назад +3

      Hey Scuff! You Canadians know your outdoor gear, so I take that as a huge compliment! Yes the middle piece is metal. They really did not skimp on any details on this chair. Since making the video it’s still my favorite, despite trying out several since. It has held up really well. Cheers!

      @@PerformanceOutdoor Thanks for the quick response, as well as the correct response. I'm so glad to hear that. I've seen too many great ideas and designs ruined by decisions made by the "pencil pushers". For me the Cliq will be in the trunk of the car year round and pulled out for baseball games on Sunday afternoons in the the park. I think it will be an up grade from my other chairs. Happy travels, 'til next time.

    Does your chair shift in all directions under weight? Mine moves on the pins holding the chair supports to the legs. It's disconcerting given the size of the pins, but I'm well under the max weight.

    • @PerformanceOutdoor
      @PerformanceOutdoor  3 года назад

      Hi Daniel! I feel like the front legs move slightly if I lean forward, but for the most part when I move it’s just the seat/cloth itself moving with me and not the frame. I’m about 185 right now and it feels pretty sturdy to me. Where the leg and chair supports meet there doesn’t seem to be any movement when the legs and back are fully extended.

    I purchased 2 CLIQ chairs from CLIQ on May 25, 2022. One chair came missing a pin. Emailed CLIQ, few days later, I get a response asking for my address and how many screws I needed to repair the chair. I demanded a new replacement holding CLIQ responsible for their written policy on refunding or replacing broken or damaged product. I received a replacement. NOW, the plastic caps on the back legs of the replacement chair is breaking off. I sent email to CLIQ on 7/5/22. Sent photos requested. No response from CLIQ even after sending several messages. Just sent email to "Holly" on 7/8/22.

      That’s unacceptable, sorry to hear. No product or company is immune to defects or failures, but the best are the ones who sort those out quick and easy. Patagonia set the standard there in my opinion. Others need to step in line. Hope they get it fixed for you.
