Thank God he accepted to play Red. No one else could do such him. Actually ever character he played so far has been extremely excellent 👏 by Red is beyond words. Red narrating the story of how he met Dembe is on a different level of acting and story telling. Definitely one of my favorite scenes from the whole show.

He's known to say he loves playing characters that allow him to explore the darker side of human nature and I love that about him. Have you seen the movie Crash (1996 not 2004) that he was in? Now THAT was definitely the darker side of human nature!
Finally started Season 1 and let me tell you im so glad I never watched this before because now I have so much to look forward too.. One of the best characters ever created!
He has a lack of morals but definitely has some level low but there he rarely kills people that do not at least some what deserve it most of the time they would get sentenced death if could be proved actually not that violent and rather selling his blacklist for at least one billion he decides to go to FBI for Liz which I only watched season seven not eight yet but impersonated the person impersonating Red and is for as close he can be friends with someone friends with the impersonator and when losing his entire Empire he probably at least doubled and there is so much more you could honestly get a bunch of physiologists and biographers to write a book about his character.

He is the most honest and moral person I have seen fiction or other. He believes in loyalty, he believes in justice, and he offers both in return.

His acting in the role and line delivery in the show is amazing, but the writing of the actual show is taking a nosedive right now and it's become increasingly worse with every recent season. James Spadars' full potential isn't being used here like it was in Boston Legal. He's literally being forced to carry the show for Blacklist in my opinion.

Then I was told Practice is like a prequel so I went and tried watching it, but I didn't love it at all that much until the last season when Alan appeared. I just became addicted then. The cases were so serious and good, but all the characters themselves felt so dull to me.
This character and actor will go down in history one of the greatest villain, gangsters of all time, really go back an rewatch, hes ruthless , and the actor has the perfect look, and skill to pull thisaster gangster off.
