The song is about a woman who is so devastated by her husband/lover leaving her that she feels sick. Written by Serge Lama, it became popular when sung by Lara Fabian. I suggest you listen to this song, “Je suis malade”, sung by Lara Fabian; it is a masterpiece, and you will also have the subtitles in English. Siempre se dijo que es exactamente lo contrario,es el hombre( Serge) ,quién estando en pareja con otra,se enamora de esta mujer,la cual ,junto con su marido se va a vivir a otro país.

It's about loss love You should check out Lara Fabian version to understand the song. She is another artist half Belgian and half Italian who for a long time lived in Canada. FYI she is Dimash's Idol and has performed with her who also sings in multiple languages.
