Fantastic 👏 👏 👏 Your Mom, on her own, was able to realize that Ko Woorim is not a baritone after all, but a real bass! He's a classically trained basso profundo, the rarest male singing voice. And the only other classically trained Forestella member is legerro tenor tenor, Cho Mingyu (3rd from left on screen) Mom's reaction was absolutely priceless! The other tenor with the beautifully emotional voice was a musical actor before becoming part of Forestella, and he was trained in acting and singing in College. I love all of them, trained or not. They are amazing!!

Hey Mom, are you French Canadian? So am I and I am in love with Forestella. The singer who made it popular was Lara Fabian. Written by Serge Lama. Forestella’s French is so good for South Koreans! They sing just as well in Spanish, Russian, Italian, Latin and English. The high note guy is Hyungho Kang, who actually had no classical back ground and no formal musical training. The low voice is Woorim Ko, an opera singer, and you would love his French song “Les feuilles mortes”, The second one to come in was Doohoon Bae, a musical actor/singer, and the third one who came in was Mingyu Cho, a tenor opera singer. They are so fantastic! There is a long list of beautiful performances for you to hear, and don’t forget their originals which are epic.

Mom, certain music touches my soul, and I cry occasionally as well. Forestella is amazing.and I highly recommend their version of Bohemian Rapsody as well as Time In A Bottle and Nella Fantasia. They have many fabulous performances and you really can't go wrong with any of them. The singer with the high voice never received vocal training, as the others did. He started a rock band in college with some friends and played occasionally performed at small venues. He was the lead singer and played guitar. He is the only one of the members who had a real job. He's a Chemical Engineer and when he turned 30 he decided to take a leave of absence and try out for the singing show (sorry, I cant remember the name) that ended up putting together these four amazing talents. If you want to see an amazing solo performance of his version of Phantom of the Opera you won't regret it. The name he uses when performing solo, also the name of his band, is Pitta. Their latest release, Chagall's Dream", is a lovely behind the scenes MV and the song is beautiful.
While I was in the hospital I listened to Forestella constantly (intermixed with some African drums so I could sleep). Their voices are healing for me.

Thank you for the beautiful Reaction. This is their masterpiece. Yes, Ko WooRim (Basso Profundo) and Cho Mingyu (Tenor) are Classically trained. The baritone (Bae Doo-Hoon) is trained in Theatre. The guy who hit the highest notes was a Research Chemist who sang part time as the vocalist in a ROCK band. He had NO vocal training before the programme creating Forestella

Bravo Madame Maman, la chanson a été écrite et interprétée par Serge Lama d'après sa propre expérience amoureuse douloureuse en 1973. Dalida l'a effectivement chantée dans les années 70. Lara Fabian en a fait une reprise dans les années 90 qui l'a rendu populaire hors du monde francophone et la belle version des Forestella fait aujourd'hui découvrir ce classique aux jeunes générations.

I looove Forestella's version of this. So grateful they did a similar acapella section to Lara Fabian's version, it was so powerful. They all have their own positions (Bass, Tenor, Baritone etc) but can cover so many different ranges, making it is easy to get confused at first listen. Thanks for the reaction!!
