Just got mine today. For the leg pads, I put the large washer inside the covers for a much cleaner look.

How tight should the lower bolt on the footpad be? Should it be loose enough to move around or is it best to find position of comfort and then tighten down?

I just received my FID bench and had a question. Is it normal for the leather cover over the bench pad to be pretty loose? To where I can run my flat hand down the bench and get stopped by a mountain of material before I get to the end? Any way to tighten that up?

Identical bro apart from the cover material. Because of the absolutely abysmal assembly instructions I came here to get some kind of suggestions to put it together as the foot pad doesn't even slot into position and I was thinking I'm doing something wrong. Appears that it's faulty after watching this.

0:34 HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET THERE?? you can't just skip steps like that!! For transport I removed the giant bolt that connects the back frame to the base (the highest bolt at this frame) and for the life of me I cant get it back in!!
