Really like the Quest. I have 2. The 30 and the 5. 👍. The 5. Arm rest broke. They sent me a new one. Solid machines. I appreciate your videos. I’m in waynesboro Va US.
Hello, I was out in the field today, and having a small sharp signal, have just found my first ever Edward the first halfpenny in pretty good condition, at a depth of about 3 inches. Machine used Quest Q30, with standard coil that came with the machine. Very good machine, will not part with it. Edward 1 half penny 1272 to 1307.
Greetings from Belgium. You nailed it. Quality- prize unbeatable. I have an Equinox 800 and an Xp Deus but the one i always keep in my car is the Q30+ Very good coin shooter with a fast recovery and short learn curve.
I really enjoy my Q30, does a great job. Build quality better than my Simplex, not quite as deep though, that’s down to the 9.5 x 11 coil on the Quest which is better for target separation and getting in between the tight spots. The Q30 collapses shorter than the simplex too, would defiantly recommend the Q30 as a viable alternative to the simplex, far better than Teknetics T2
Thanks for this guide on the Quest Q30 and 60, I have just purchased a Q60 as my first detector I was going to get a Q30 but there was some mix up at Joan Allen and sorted out a Q60, really excited about getting hopefully tomorrow, first time detecting so it's going to be a learning curve from Scratch. I did a lot of research on entry level detectors and these guys kept popping up and everyone didn't have a bad thing to say about them so that's why I went for one. I'm based in Inverness where are you based? Can't be far from me from what I can gather. 👍🏻 Gonna take a look at your other videos now. 👍🏻 Subbed you also.
@@HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting ah right, I was trying to work out which side of the Moray Firth you were on from your videos 👍🏻 great machine so far and a learning curve as it's my first ever Detector, already found a great Queen Victoria Silver shilling within 10 minutes of using it for the very first time, I was well happy 👍🏻 enjoy watching your videos keep up the good work as I know how much time they take to make and edit. 👍🏻
AM static is a Non-motion mode, ie the coil doesn’t need to be moved in order to pick up on the signal. It’s real purpose is for fine tuning the pinpoint function although you could detect using it. But to answer your other question, no I don’t use this setting to detect 👍
Hi, i have a q60. I am searching for it the smallest coil what available. In the water searching better the smaller. But i do not finde 🙂 Can you help me please. Thanks 🙂
What headphones have you been using? Wireless or the wired 3.4mm.I don’t know about you but I don’t like 3.5 mm headphones because I think they tend to be a bit flimsy.
As far as I know The "+" means wireless headset I think Multifrequency starts being added to better and better models as the cost goes up. Different frequencies change the depth and accuracy. If I recall correctly high frequency is better for shallow but more precise detection. low frequency is not as precise but can penetrate/ search deeper into the ground. If you have multiple frequency options you can pick n choose what u want to use depending on Your situation.
Hi thanks for the videos they are great but can I ask a couple of questions??? I have the q 60 and I'm trying to figure it all out. 1. I cannot get the app to work I've downloaded on android Samsung galaxy s22 ultra but it will not find/pair with the q60? Have you has this happen and have you got any advice on it please. 2. I'm quite new to this and so I don't understand everything clearly and the q60 doesn't come with a great tutorial so was wondering if you didn't mind doing a tutorial of settings and what they mean. Would be very grateful fir this as there really isn't much out there about them ( not in English anyway ). 3. I didn't get waterproof headphones or a pin pointer ? Was this a promotion or are they supposed to be in the box? . Thanks again for the vids you put up and any response would be greatly appreciated 👍

Thank you for your feedback.
The Q30 is a great machine.
Peter, hoe bevalt de koptelefoon van de 30+? Ik twijfel over de q60 om zijn koptelefoon en de 30+
Glad your still enjoying them, nice to see a year on update video. good job too. Happy Hunting.

I have also fitted Blackdog coil to the Q30 ( No Problem's ).

Forever MD all Quest model !!! 💥
I have the Q30 a great detector for working in nails. I am trying to find smaller coils for it.
Hello, Have you ever tried running the Q30 in AM stattic, what does this do, and what is the point of this.
AM static is a Non-motion mode, ie the coil doesn’t need to be moved in order to pick up on the signal.

Are the updates worth the trouble downloading or is it ok to not bother and just run the machine as is, have just bought a nearly year old q30

I use the Quest wire free Pro on all my Quest machines.
Hi, what you you recommend quest q60 or nokta anfibio multi? Cheers
Both are good machines, but if I were choosing I would choose the Q60.
Quest 60 or Quest 30? Im a beginner. What has in + the 60? Is multifrequency so important?
As far as I know
