Brandy looked amazing and it was sooo great seeing her on the Grammy stage! Those vocals are undeniable.
First he sampled Toni Braxton on Last Last that was a smash now this is crazy as well. He clearly understands culture and pays homage ❤. I love you Burna Boy
Don't forget Jeremiah with the City Boys beat
Burna was out here saying ADOS people are lost and have no culture. That’s not homage. That’s clout chasing
@@hello_04 Really? Got any proof, brother?
@@hello_04 what does ADOS mean?
@@hello_04No he didn’t.
Brandy!! We all miss her being out in public at events!!!! ❤😊❤❤❤😊❤

Port Harcourt, Nigeria 🇳🇬
I just heard "sitting in my room" and thought... "I'd love to hear Brandy do more music". BooM there you go
Wow, I need to run it back and go watch the Grammys because I can't believe I missed this.❤❤❤ Brandy will forever be the vocal Bible and someone whose songs were and still are the backdrop to my life. The way she talked about music is how I feel about it as well though I can't sing lol but it allows me create my story and write it all out and go back to it when I need it. Can't wait for you to tour again I'm waiting cause I'm there in a heart beat. 💕💕💕🎼🎼🎼💜💜💜
We miss Brandy ❤❤
Wow, Brandy looks and sounds as good as her young prime in the 90s.
Burna Boy and 21 Savage, thank you for inviting the R&B legend to perform with you. 😊
Ummmm, it is Brandy’s song. Burna is famous for sampling Black American’s music.
How did they let her perform with them? That’s her song
@@myalistjourney4742EXACTLY HER SONG
Love Brandy, she's my favorite singer ever. I think the op just meant that since Burna Boy got clearance to sample it, he didn't need to have her on stage to perform it. BUT we're all grateful that he did. The fact he invited her to perform with him speaks alot to his character and reverence for Brandy and the culture.
@@MelaninKingg Don't be surprised if a rapper samples "Angel of Mine:" or Monica's other hit songs.
Live Vocals..

One thing about brandy, the mic is on! And she’s gonna make sure y’all know it. And the background vocals will be done before the show.

Brandy is a top talent, good to see her doing music! She looked fit and upbeat!
❤❤❤Brandy is iconic! Need to see her on a tour!
Bringing Brandy in to perform the actual song with 21 tagging along was a good choice. Burna Boy is quite the performer. Africa would so super proud on his contribution for helping make Afrobeats a beloved global sensation 🇳🇬.
By sampling Black American music. I want Nigerians to STOP

Africa stand up! 🌍 Love that Burna brought Brandy along for the experience! ❤
Are you on CRACK. Burna sampled her song. Say thank you and sit down.
He brought brandy along??? Gtfoh brand has been famous 30 years.
@@saints0931she’s not relevant tho
@@DanielWilson-bu4cq who stays relevant for thirty years? She was relevant enough to use her sample from 1998!
@@DanielWilson-bu4cq Does Burna Boy have a diamond album?
Burna boy is on a different level.
Burna Boy is a leader and shows all of us how inclusive entertainment looks like. Kudos to him for featuring Brandy and 21 Savage. Afrobeats is not new, African music has influenced all genres for hundreds of years, finally getting the much deserved recognition.
@@foreverfly3113Brandy didn't put Burna on the map you are grossly mistaken. Not surprised a lot of people in America like to gatekeep other Blacks. Burna stands on the shoulders of Fela and other greats from Africa. Brandy is how old? She's great but Burna doesn't need Brandy and Afrobeats IS older than any other genre like you said African Americans come from Africa so your roots and music is from Africa. Let's eliminate the learned bigotry of Europeans where we try to minimize our roots to make others feel good. Burna is a global icon as is Brandy. Respect to both. Afrobeats is not a new thing its name is new but the sounds are not . African music is very old
@@lolaosawe2358 Nobody said Brandy put Burna in the map. 🙄 But her Black Excellence made it easy to walk in and sit down. Without Black Americans it wouldn’t happen period. So it’s Black Americans fault white people didn’t want y’all at the Grammy’s and in America because they don’t like y’all color, culture, accent, and music. 🤔 Weird. We don’t care about the Grammys like y’all do. Some of our best artist who are legends never got Grammys. Didn’t you see JayZ speech?
If Burna stood on the shoulders of Fela, then you’ve proved my point. You need to do your research on where Fela learned how to write and compose certain genres for his music. 😂 You also need to find the video where Diddy helped Burna get through doors and promoted his album. I don’t know what they showing guys over there but a simple Google and RUclips videos could help you. Fela studied Jazz and Funk in LA and toured with Black American musicians and artist etc.. he went back home and used the techniques to make his own sound. Those are things he didn’t learn in Nigeria or in the UK; he’s well documented. From Afrobeat is Afrobeats which is nothing more than Afrobeat, Raggae/Carribean, Hip Hop & R&B. At the end of the day it’s all African music but it’s dishonest to claim you’ve created something when the world knows it’s a fusion. What was the sound of African music before independence? American music is Black American music every genre almost no matter who performs it came from African descendants who created it here generation after generation; hundreds of years ago. There are recordings over 100 years old. Our music is also well documented because Black people were the greatest musicians and vocalists here. So if Afrobeat & Afrobeats is truly African then it should go back for hundreds of years longer than ours. I’ve heard different kinds of African music that predate Afrobeat & Afrobeats and it sounds nothing like them not even the vocals.
Y’all always want to bring up Europeans when you’re wrong. Truth be told y’all act just like them. They maybe bigots but that xenophobia y’all can keep right over there.
He literally used Her singing here dummy!!!😂😂😂😂
This girl look just like her mother now
Definitely icon brandy 🥃 🔥💕🤩🤩

Brandy deserves her flowers!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯

Brandy's vocals are unmatched 👌
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Brandy blessed Burna Boy's performance on the Grammy stage, Amen to that!
Legend!! I was just arguing people down about her lol so many people are sleep on this woman’s vocals and I won’t let that happen around me period!!!
Nice 😊
She didn’t sell her soul that’s why she’s not properly honored as she should be
And her mom made that clear on live 🤣😂🤣🤣
Brandy's hair is on POINT!!!! that voice!!!
Shit just gave me goosebumps ❤
❤❤❤
This is the real winning, Nigerians. Stop moaning about not winning this year. Let's big up Tyla and appreciate how as a whole we remain a continent to reckon with 🔥
Damn I didn’t know y’all were still that xenophobic in 2024. 🤔
@@foreverfly3113 Why do I feel you've replied to the wrong comment?
@@DaWitOne Unfortunately, I didn't actually unless you were rooting for all Black people not just the ones on the African continent.
@@foreverfly3113 Perhaps it's the punctuation, but I do not understand what you are up against here. To give it context, a lot of Nigerians felt one of the Afrobeats nominees should have won the best African category instead of Tyla. My comment was aimed at encouraging whoever to appreciate every little win - an African artiste performing at a Grammy, another one winning the Grammy...
@@DaWitOne Don't worry about it the last eight words made it clear. 👌🏽 But for clarity winning a Grammy should not be considered “winning” for Africans. Africans been winning Grammy’s since 1959. Be careful what you covet from America it often comes with a price and I'm not talking money.
I'd be more concerned about the American Erik Prince, the founder Blackwater and his charge to recolonize Africa and Latin America.
Brandy ages backwards. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They cut the heavenly vocals right before this!!
