I think this works super well on Radios with an actual color LCD (not a dot-matrix-dispolay) llike the radiomaster T16, because when looking at the plane our eyes adjust to the brightness of the sky/background, making everything seem darker than it already is. That makes the LCD Readouts alone kinda hard to use, they also are incredibly hard to see with polarized sunglasses. It needs something else to alert the Pilot, just like this. Great job
