Test instruments are great, but they must be appropriate for what you’re measuring; while both a tape measure and the odometer on your car measure distance, you wouldn’t use the odometer on your car to measure 5 inches. The same applies to using manometers to measure Pascals (for which you would need a precision manometer). And that doesn’t even address proper setup and the ability of an instrument to provide consistent data. This session by Eric Kaiser is all about tool selection, and he will cover topics like accuracy, precision, repeatability, setting user requirements, and more.
