Syntac if I were you I would’ve tried to tame them at night because that’s when there most aggressive and you can see them more easily and they attack anything close in like a 90 mile radius.

and bleed out an alpha rex or something big... or test out how many deino can be in the same time on a bronto
Why not name them nerd squad? Because troodons are the only creature in Ark with four intelligence ticks besides mantis.
Taming troodons at night is more beneficial. Because they attack anything at night you don't have to make it bite your creature while trying to make it bite the baby. Just a tip. And they gain more effectiveness and taming speed at night.

@@agus_lie if you claim the babies and put them inside the cage after they won't. It can be done easily with move to command while the babies are in a whistle group(so other dinos won't react to move to whistle)

GameOsaur bruh mine doesn’t attack and it starting to piss me off lol, I literally put two of them in a pen next to like 4 hyena baby’s they wouldn’t even attack the baby’s or me they just run around never agro and it was night
Two tips. A) Do the taming at night and B) throw out cryo sick baby gigas. Doing those two things make it way easier.

I’m remember a long time ago when I knew practically nothing about Troodons, so I had to look up how to tame them. Once I realized they needed to kill your tamed creatures, I tried using a bunch of tamed dodos to tame it. I never got the troodon.

This is like literally a year ago but i noticed the same thing about the pack bonus. But i learned that they get the pack bonus at night. Just thought I'd leave this here. Idk if this is 100% official, but it is what i have noticed

you can use a basilo, a crossbow, or a harpoon gun. They really aren't that hard to kill.

Dead By Daylight Gamer 2 more “cryopod stink” :) DS was around before CP, and is soo much better. ie, when hatching DS will automatically pickup and store the babies (this includes live births) so no running around trying to see if you have mut. Just look in the terminal and see what levels you have. It is like using texting and then moving to telegram or group me...
I believe it is like wolves where more than five or something ruins the bonus.
If you noticed during the hatching at one or two points, some of the babies would randomly get the "+4" or whatever number under their names. It would flash then disappear. I think you just have too many together. It needs to be close to around 5 per pack.
Troodon army in pvp would be amazing against other players

carnos or allos are the most efficient way to tame them. Babies are buggy for taming. Sometimes they don't work at all. Also like others mentioned, night taming is a must
You should consider adding a pvp map connected to the cluster so after you do thoso alsome mutated armys you could bring them to the pvp map and do battles with them. Realy think it would be alsome to see.
Hey maybe it would be a cool video idea to do the iceworm cave on rag with the Troodon Army, because they might be able to fit through the narrow spots
Oh, troodons. I remember when I started ark. I had 4 trikes. I felt like we could handle most situations, so it was early morning I headed up a hill, near the cave of the hunter to get some metal and crystal. Then BAM 4 pretty high level troodons jumped us. My trikes died so fast. I tried to run on foot, but got knocked out and died soon after. That's when I learned sometimes basic metal tools and armor are not worth going back for. I died three more times learning that lesson. Just go hit a few more river rocks and make some new tools.

It takes me 4 hours to level a lv1 character to lv 50+ and taming a doedi and anky takes like 10 minutes.. what are you even doing with your time bud?

They should make it so they can claim all dinos (you hatched) so then if you do what syntac is doing then it makes it easier even if it was a tek build it would help alot

So I really love your channel and I love cryo pods, but.... I gotta say I wish I could see all your dinos sometimes. I forgot you even had a indominus rex and I'm sure there are many more dinos I've forgotten about. Maybe do an episode to show off all the dinos you have so far? Idk, but I love seeing all your tames, especially the fully mutated of course.

When I did that seagulls came and killed my baby when it hatched and the troodon was killed two and I spent all morning looking for it
If it insta tames it gets 100% taming effectiveness, I’ve done it before on Xbox so it should work for pc

6 troodons, 6 alloes, 2 pigs, 6 hyenas.. that would be a fun pack
troodon and frog combo one of the best in base defenses as long as they are not near the walls on pvp.
Imgine a pack of them inside your base on a pvp server, with 8-10k hp, more speed and a metric ass ton of melee. Just let the intruders in and then whistle aggressive. Oh the terror and carnage would be so hilarious.
Btw can tamed/breeded ones torpor too?
Yes they can torpor but only onto players
If the owl could pick up things, it should block one of its other abilities, like gliding or freezing.

Syntac explains it sorta in the domination rex taming I think that's the first it was ever shown I could be wrong though
I still like the look of the Deins in the other mod and wish the creator would just make them as a sub-species and not one that is necessarily nocturnal like the Megas. Their Idol anims are awesome and I love their tails.
Do it at night. Their nocturnally agressive meaning at night they go ape shit and start attacking everything
I bred up a mutated thyla that has an electric blue body, a black back, and a cyan belly. I named him Kyanite. He’s to me like Mystique is to you lol I take him everywhere on Scorched. He even has a pretty snazzy, painted, master craft saddle 😎

With the small creatures like trudoons just let them get grown and then check cause it would be super simple
Next time you tame a Troodon it works with cryosick Dino's, so then the baby gigas won't run.

Mixpack troodons with sky piranhas. Dimorphs. That would be epic. Then you can target fliers as well.

u need to use and mutate pteranodons they're rlly good. not as big as wyverns but around same speed and with imprint they do good damage

I think I have an idea to tame troodons so first get a cryopod put a creature inside of it then throw it out then get a Rex parachetrium and put them on neutral hen after that put them on the cage with your troodon (you have to put them in your cryopod with the cryosickness) when there in the the cage if there not aggroad at the parachetium or rex hop on them and the troodon would try to attack you but attacking the parachetrium or Rex then after that rinse and repeat

Hey Syntac.I had a building when my brother and I was playing on the Island called "The House Of D". It housed an army of Dilophosaurs i kept catching and taming and it was crazy when i would let them loose and put them on aggressive. I had at one point up to 30 Dilophasaurs spitting poison and attcking creatures. I could take out a lot of small medium and some large creatures but when it would come to big carnos i would loose a few but boy was it fun having an army of them.
I have an army of ~30 lv 430 thylas on official servers.. i called the pack EZ mode because they shred trough everything in the game except flyers and the king titan XD
