Wasn't there for that long but I've been around long enough to know who mystique is.
We have maxed them out on 4 stats. Mystique was the inspiration long ago. Took my tribemate about a year on our server.
Got 12 completed breedlines over the 5 years of playing ark. Always the same server, never wiped. Find Zyshro's videos and look for "The Lighthouse".

Same man, i can’t belive how long its been. I remember those were the times when they were adding dinos every update which were happening a few times a month. Also when i saw his first video he had only about 20k subs and i still vividly remember the first video of his i watched. Good times.

@@drakobby6418 well with the updated version of ark coming they’re removing all the hard work from og ark. Sure a new start is great but unwilling losing 10s of thousands of hours sucks and I don’t see many players returning until ark 2..IF that even lives up to the hopes and hype around it.
25:05 the percentage bleed effect decreases in % the higher the saddle armour. This does not apply to creatures with natural armour
Does it not work with other specific saddled creatures? I tried this with one of my Gigas and it still does the bleed damage
@@Moonlit_Sketch look. Aslong as u got low percentage armour. The more of an effect you'll get from percentage bleeds. I'm not saying u won't get percentage bleeds. You will still get bled. But the effect won't be as bad.
that is not the reason why, saddles do not affect % based damage, it is due to the digesting buff, which for some reason, nullifies all gnashed effects

It would be really fun if they put a little easter egg in Ark 2 mentioning Syntac, the survivor from the original Arks that started from nothing, but eventually traveled through all the Arks and slowly gained the knowledge and technological ability to breed the creatures of the Arks in ways similar to the original Ark founders, manipulating their genetics until the creatures were barely comparable to their baseline breeds.

One advantage to mutating movement speed! Torpor is scaled off of base level, so that stat indirectly helps a dino not KO as fast. It's probably a thing to do on PVP unofficial to help raise that torpor cap.

you can bring thylas to rockwell's arena because climbers are allowed so you can take a rock drake

Fun fact: The Moeder’s arena ignores drag weight altogether which allows for some questionable strategies such as megachelon providing oxygen to Gigas.

I feel like for ark 2 they’ll probably have a slightly low amount of creatures likely mainly dinosaurs like at the launch of ark 1 and more will be added with updates and dlc’s
It would be nice if you could do in-world events and missions to 'unlock' more creatures on the maps. It would be a good alternative to just having everything spawned in instantly on day one with terrible RNG spawners. That would tie progression of a map to progression in PVE. And PvP creature availability becomes a player-managed feature as tribes vie for control and manipulate available spawns. Imagine a map that limited everybody to sub-Allos or just herbivores or all raptors and sarcos as the endgame.
Love the Mystique Prime, though, and still hope Thylas make it to Arat in ARK 2. Breeding for similar colors to Mystique might not be possible early on, but perhaps eventually. And hopefully the paint system in UE 5 will allow for better saddles.

The thumbnail is Awesome! 💙On official its still 450 as the max lvl. But on x- creatures and r-creatures can be lvl up to 500. Think the Lost island *new* creatures can go up to lvl 500 too

About the bleed damage. On my Singleplayer savefile all DOT effects are negated by the "consumption" buff. Im not sure the same thing happened to you but it might be, Hope this helped

People sleep on the ol combat Wombat as an ocean mount, I found out by accident how good they can be when I went after an alpha Meg in some shallow water and had to chase it into deep water. Plus if you spam and then hold the jump button while swimming they do this superman thing across the waters surface and absolutely haul ass.
