Best show I have seen since Poldark! Fell in like with Aidan Turner. Now it’s Alex! I keep watching over and over. Hurry up season 2. Put Taggie and Rupert together. Chemistry! Love this show! Great music too.

I felt exactly the same way, really not my kind of thing but so glad I gave it a go (I think the 80's vibe in the trailer, coupled with the great cast piqued my interest) Perfectly cast in every way.

Gosh this show is great - however, I nearly stopped watching after one specific episode because I was so shocked :'( because of what happened to one character / was done to them ... The acting is phenomenal in this aaah!

I personally find Danny Dyer a bit laughable as an actor (he seems to play the same character, the same way in everything he does) BUT he was fantastic as Freddy in this. I thought the casting was absolutely perfect & even my 52 yo other half sat down to watch it with me (this is a man who either falls asleep or is messing about on his phone whenever we sit down and watch something together) was eagerly waiting for me to put the next episode on. We are both needing a second series immediately!
No offence, but Rupert Campbell-Black is meant to be the most handsome man in England (and blond). He is described similar to S1 Jaime Lannister from GoT. Normally I prefer fantasy fiction to read, but Jilly Cooper's Rivals and Score are my guilty pleasures. I'll have to think about this one, although it will be good for a laugh.
Disgusting. He harassed a girl in front of everyone, and yet nothing. It was no big deal and turned into romance. That was disgusting. Cheating was disgusting.
Looks abit like Carlton TV , Richard and Judy, lol and maybe if there is any more series we will see David tenant become the Tory priminister eg : David Cameron 😏🤔😉
