Thank you for the video. Unfortunately there are a few things I still dont understand regarding the micro inverter. It sounds to me like the micro inverter is AC coupled to the Main supply, not the UPS output. If so what happens to the excess power the micro inverter will produce when the battery is full and the micro inverter generates more than the load ? If the micro inverter is on the same line as the grid supply then what stops the excess power from being exported ? What happens to this excess power? Please supply us with a wiring diagram to explain the wiring of the Grid AC and micro inverter inputs
If on grid installation, excess power will be exported. If load is lower and the battery is full there is nothing to stop the export. It really doesn't matter if you are grid-side connected or AUX microinverter port (I'm not sure this model has this option, like other SS inventers). Personally I used HomeAssistant and Shelly relay to control export from microinveter(s)
then it would be exactly the same as if you didn't have the lifelynk in the first place - the micro will export to grid unless it has its own limiting CT. And because the input and output of the lifelynk is coupled when on-grid, it doesn't matter where you connect the micro-inverter - as long as you realise that the micro-inverter won't work during an outage if you installed it on the grid side.
Nice unit Keith I fitted one only to find out that it only outputs 2kw Phoned up and was told that you were sorting it out, any further forward with it

Any update on release date for the wireless CT clamp?

You don't want to export as they will pay less going forward the ct coil stops exports but I am sure you can export it if you want
looks like the Solis connectors use to connect it
Is the grid earth connected to the off grid earth in the inverter and does it disconnect the grid earth when it goes onto island mode
