Y'all know this is just my opinion, right?
...You can still Review them.
Dann Vixm He doesn't really have time. He has to keep up with the albums releasing now.
I think he just did
In a YUNO REVIEW kinda way
No it's too late to apologize. He can never review them. Too much time has passed, too many tears have been cried.
It's not really fair on other albums that he reviews immediately after coming out.
No. We missed that exit. Got to stay on the INTERNET SUPERHIGHWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY.
I think about Lil Ugly Mane and his whole discography at least once a day.
That man’s music is insane. Not only is a lot of his shit scarily well produced, but almost every single song/snippet is a bop in it’s own right.
But I think his greatest talent is lyricism/rapping. He gets very technical and just fucking fills up the verse with such dense vocabulary, word play, and imagery, but somehow still makes it catchy as fuck AND rhyme? That man is an absolute monster on the mic.
TL;DR Lil Ugly Mane the GOAT
Travis is a beast
He definitely was a true musician at heart and that’s why he still makes music, he does it for himself
Agreed
He’s the goat

Review Lofi hip hop 24/7 beats to study to
NOT GOOD
AND RELAX
not good
I know this is a meme but incase anyone was wondering what Anthony’s take on lofi hip hop is he’s said “in many ways millennials have perfected the ambient genre with lofi hip hop” so he quite likes it. Personally I don’t agree but still interesting to hear his take on it
N O T G O O D
Mista Thug Isolation changed my life, album is mega iconic
How did it change yr life exactly? I like it a lot but I'd like to hear yr story :)
Blackland radio is better tbh but I love his solo tapes tho
@Andrew-~ but so does MTI😂
mista thug isolation is a masterpiece of a project
Mists thug isolation is one of the greatest records released of the decade
Facts.
dumbass facts
Facts
FAX
big facts
anthony saying "thank you based god" for two minutes straight is what was missing from my life
This seems like a stupid joke, but it's true.
its crazy because I thought you were joking like most fantano fans do. But you were goddamn right
"Throw Dem Gunz" is one of the best hip hop bangers of all time. Lil Ugly Mane needs another album like Mista Thug Isolation
TCC Mista thug isolation is such an amazing album, you’re so right
i'm so happy he finally came around Ugly, favourite rapper period
Mista Thug Isolation is amazing from start to finish, BUT, there are better Memphis tapes out there. Runnin'-'n'-Gunnin' by Tommy Wright III comes to mind for me. I certainly prefer Third Side of Tape, they're completely different albums but it's so much better for me.
Why don’t you make RUclips videos anymore?
throw dem gunz sucks
The Mista Thug Isolation review would’ve been epic
Oh cool
Did you know that logic’s biracial?
ToLWaM I did not. Please inform me by making an album about it
bobby-bi
Bye Rachel
ToLWaM IM BIRACIAL
As much as I hate Logic, this joke is getting very old.
Antwan - I have a great idea for a series. You should do an 'underrated' or 'forgotten classics' series, where you talk about albums which have been somewhat forgotten, or aren't celebrated by the community as much as they should be. Might I suggest Richard Hell's 'Blank Generation' or Eno's 'Here Come The Warm Jets'. I bet you've got bloody loads of albums to talk about.
I'm fortunate enough to to have HCTWJ on vinyl. It's honestly Enos best album imo.
Given the chaaaaaaance I'll DIIIEEEE LIIIKE A BAAAAAAAABYYYYY
Antwan?
ooh, I wanna add Exuma - Exuma
Antwony Draintano
I wished you reviewed The Emoji Movie.
Sand Lol now I want to see him do that
Sand the emoji movie soundtrack
this new Emoji Movie? Yeah uh it’s NOT GOOD. *explosions*
You mean The Emoji Movie Soundtrack right?
NOT GOOD
Glad Lil Ugly Mane getting the shoutout he deserves. Back when it first came out it was almost like a game of sorts trying to figure out the man behind the music.
And just in time too since after that he's been growing out of the woodwork getting in touch with his fanbase and starting touring this year.
You should've reviewed some of Anthony Fantano's albums, they were pretty amazing
"My Friend From the Apple Store is this dense, multilayered and - and funny portrayal of..."
Veridian I would have to... agree
Taiga ?
Fantano was in a band called Taiga who released a s/t album, you can probably find it on slsk
taiga has a couple of good records
Where is Will Smiths breakout hit album: Big Willie Style one of the most important albums of the 1990's. Thank You Melon!
Harold King underrated comment
People say Keef and Finally Rich influenced the entire surface of rap today but really Waka Flocka, Lex Luger and Flockaveli birthed the sound. This dropped in 2010 and rappers TODAY are STILL trying to sound like this album
Nifty By Nature
You can really see it in the new wave of rappers like 6ix9ine who are aggressive
Nifty By Nature Exactly, people don't realise this
Nifty By Nature i wouldnt even necessarily say finally rich was what influenced the soundcloud camp like carti, purpp, pump, etc., but along the lines of tapes like bang 2 and almighty so because on those was when keef was really starting to experiment with his moany-mumbly sound that everyone really honestly hated whenever it came out, at least people that knew him from the mainstream, but looking at his style after those tapes and comparing it to now, its almost like the bit THE FUCK out of his style.
I go hard in the motherfucking paint!
Lil b too
Flockaveli still bangs today.
Lil Ugly Mane made that on an old busted Laptop and just put in out there online and suddenly just blew up. You might say the pitched down vox sound cheesy now but people legit thought he was black when that came out. No one knew anything about him.
TheRoadAhead, There's nothing cheesy about pitch shifted vocals especially in the context of southern hip hop in general.
I never said there was, He did.
I honestly felt they were a little cheesy when I first heard it. Idk.
devl , Yea well you probably don't listen to chopped n screwed, Memphis rap, or southern hip hop in general so opinion discarded.
skinnypimp LMAO OKAY MAN
A I A is an incredible record, it makes me feel like not much else feels.
Glad you included it. (as well as Rashad, Traxman, Ferraro, and Bell Witch)
Congratulations on finally reviewing Flockaveli, Anthony!
Should do more of these
This is pretty much a YUNO review except instead of covering the past month, he covered the past 5 years of YUNO. He should do these yearly.
Alex Ortiz nah.... because these are albums he WISHED he reviewed , he doesn’t want to review the albums in YUNO
That one Cohen fan coming in just to say that its awesome that you want it darker grew on you and to tell anyone in the comments to try some of his stuff- some of you are bound to dig it and Cohen deserves a spot in our musical conciousness
cool idea for a vid.
SpeedPants omm
These kinds of recommendations are the reason I started to watch this channel in the first place. They're actually names that many people (myself included) don't recognize at first sight (Traxman, Bell Witch, Batushka).
Within this video, I actually discovered new music, instead of an opinion over popular albums. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy listening to his opinions over popular albums and artists, but I really miss going to this channel as a medium for discovering new music from bands that don't appear on the Pitchfork blogosphere.
Great comment, i completely agree with the sentiment
When is the Classic Albums version of YUNOREVIEW gonna happen?
That Leonard Cohen album was and is outstandingly beautiful. 'Treaty' is such a well written song, as is 'You Want It Darker?".
In my opinion that album is a ten. One of the mist beizufügender works of art ever written
Next do 15 albums you wish you had not reviewed
MarTin ShorLux Angelic 2 The Core ×15
MBDTF
DAMN.
Because he got memed into the deepfried realm because of it
Deathspell Omega Paracletus is one of my favourite albums of all time. A black metal masterpiece!
Thankyoutony Basedgodtano
Wish you had a few more words for Rashad. He changed the game for footwork and brought in so many different elements that modernised it and made it more accessible to casual listeners. Double Cup means a lot to a lot of people.
RIP
rip rashad man
Earl sweatshirt - EARL??????
A 10 or 9 fight me
It sucked shitty balls
Bruh was 16 and made a classic 😂
Sly tendencies - kitchen cutlery
Galt's Gooch He covered it in his favorite EPs of 2015.
It made me happy.
That Batushka album is incredible. Thanks Melon
Mirror Reaper is such an underrated masterpiece.
YES
It's not bad but Longing is the real masterpiece here
For me, the best album is four phantoms
I love mirror Reaper
Anthony’s praying that that Based God chant makes it on the next mixtape

Why is Hobo Johnson there
This is the most actual metal I've seen you cover in ages.
Review the new Nirvana album
Real Nigga I was really skeptical when I saw that they hired Fred Durst to be their new lead singer but I gotta say my expectations were exceeded.
Kicking out Dave Grohl and Novoselic and replacing them with Fred Durst again was a controversial choice, but it worked out .
You Want It Darker is essentially Leonard Cohen's version of Blackstar, being a beautiful yet sombre farewell to fans. I wish you'd talked about it more because it really deserves it.
YES! THAT'S BATOSHKA ALBUM WAS AMAZING!
Totally agreed
That thing singlehandedly got me into black metal
@@TheRushnakdeltarawen Whale cum to the club :D
I love looking back at what things got me into what. I think the first black metal song I liked was either "The Somberlain" by Dissection or "Eater of the Black Lead" by Nightbringer (which, looking back, I'm kinda surprised I liked that song so early... years before I was into a lot of extreme metal... weird lmao). First band I liked an album from was Mirrorthrone with Gangrene.
Overrated
@@ChodeMaster fuck off
Mirror Reaper is just haunting. Adrian Guerra's specter looms over the whole thing with that posthumous performance...RIP Adrian.
You should have reviewed the new dabrye album. I'll be mailing you bags of my hair and toe nails monthly till you comply. thanks.
Weaver Beats dabrye university?
He covered it in a YUNOREVIEW
Phelpsy Some of the albums that he reviewed in the past had the artist’s music playing in parts of it, causing a lot of them to be claimed.
Paracletus is a masterpiece, one of the best albums of this decade.
James Ferraro - Far Side Virtual 1:26
Deathspell Omega - Paracletus 2:56
Waka Flocka Flame - Flockaveli 4:34
Lil Ugly Mane - Mista Thug Isolation 7:07

Introgreen It's soooooo good. I'm happy melon man acknowledged it.
THANK YOU BASED GOD
EYTPS THANK YOU BASED GOD
YOU SWAG TO THE MAXIMUM BASED GOD
as a music producer that started out as a trap producer in 2012 I respect the fact that you noticed the impact of both lex luger and waka flocka with the music industry. no one really noticed that their the ones that made trap rap bangers cool and especially the forgotten trap producer lex luger
spoilers!!!!
shrek 2 was a 10/10
Luke big fax no printer
shrek 3 was 3/10
Agreed, shit's so good
Lord Farquad’s wrath shall be mighty
Shrek 2 is better than Shrek
Deathspell Omega, Peste Noire, and Autechre in one video. Amazing.
Paracletus is my favourite album of all-time I'm so glad to hear you give a fleshed out opinion of it here.
Wakthony Flocktano
The Myth Brickthany Squadtano
I have waited to hear about Mista Thug Isolation for at least a few years now Hell yeah
Brad Taste In Music in fantano's comments section is uh...........
......is NOT GOOD
Johnny Ten Thank you, finally someone says it.
How does he find the time to post his shit so early on these videos? Doesn't he have his own channel?
He is an even shittier Justin Y
Meat Rubber65 lol he has good content better than melon
Edgy Teen Looks like you work for The FADER. Thou shall not denounce da lord melon
God's Father was for me, a 17 years old white russian student, a deep, huge inspiration. In my long-time fight with teenage depression this thing really did a good job, just like first two Cudi's albums. Thank you.
I don't see the Undertale soundtrack here.
lol true
Haha thank you!
Genocide Runno here! The underground’s most beastly music melon.
Undertale sucks
KoewlBag and
Mgla - Exercises in Futility would have been cool
Also Paracletus is a fantastic album
YES
Yeah best metal album of the 2010s imo
FINALLY putting some respecc on Mista Thug Isolation, the best rap album of the 2010's
and tybg
I didn't expect to see some love for Paracletus today. Awesome.
So... review them now
pls end me Yes! He should do that
pls end me that’s kinda what this video is lmao
Leonardo Palmera that's actually such a shame...
Leonardo Palmera LOL exactly
Oh fuck, I was NOT expecting you to mention Mirror Reaper! That album is the heaviest thing I’ve ever heard in my life and probably my afterlife as well.
15 Cal Albums I Wish I Reviewed
Elseq and NTS legit Autechre's most rewarding and ambitious work to date, yet the melon still refuses to say even one sentence on their quality
Plus he said Elseq is five hours long which it's not. Clearly he has no time or interest in Autechre at this point in their discography.
@@fleaship6134 in fairness it took me ages to sit down and listen to it and autechre's one of my faves and i listen to like 5 genres whereas anthony listens to it all professionally so i can't blame him. Wish he'd do a track review of gonk steady one tho
Mirror Reaper is one of the best records of 2017, glad you gave it the attention it deserves
This are all really good records Fantano. I'm happy to see them on your channel. You should really do more of these.
Goddamn I love Paracletus, glad to finally hear Anthony's opinion on the album.
Oh humble melon, I beseech thee: please review a Death album and add it to the classics list. Death has to be one of the most influential metal bands of all time, and not only that, their music is technically and aesthetically near perfect. My favorite album is Human but the decision is yours to make which is best.
NICKELUS F & SHAWN KEMP - Trick Dice is a classic too. wish u covered it
Wish you would have reviewed JMSN’s “It is.” I think you would have loved it thoroughly. One of the most underrated R&B singers out there.
I wish you reviewed Carpenter Brut's TRILOGY, it's easily retrowave's best album (it doesn't have a lot of competition since most retrowave is trash but still).
Leonardo Estrela He’s mentioned it before saying that he really liked Trilogy unlike Brut’s latest, much weaker release.
Leonardo Estrela Should of done some of perturbator relieses too. He said he really liked dangous days and new model, but he never mentioned uncanny, whish I think rivels that of the trilogy for best syth wave album.
En Joshi-Godrez Yeah pertubator's stuff is good too
Still no Earthgang....they not even slept on they coma-ed on :/
Fuck you I laughed
ope
He reviewed their new album
review ASTROWORLD
MarTin ShorLux its not even out yet
blank boy shut the fuck up
blank boy You're not even out of the closet yet
I fucking love my closet
Keegan McCallum We all love yours
It's not too late!
Next video: Albums I wish I hadn’t reviewed.
Number one: DAMN.
Mgla-Excercices in Futility
You are god damn right you should've reviewed Mister Thug Isolation my sweet melon. Ugly is really making moves as of late, I know he's been working with Denzel and Your Old Droog.
Flockaveli is a trap classic 10/10 and that's a non arguable fact
REthony GRETtano
I wish you reviewed:
Phoenix Ti Amo
Toro y Moi Boo Boo (a legit review)
Keep it going y’all 👇🏼🗣⛽️😈
Kidz Bop 1 to 38 and the Christmas one.
Deathconciousness - Have A Nice Life
Dessa - Chimes
He said in a livestream that Phoenix - Ti Amo was boring, uninteresting and not worth a full review
lil dissapointing that you said nothing about elseq 1-5, i really like it
I want the astroworld review 1 day after it drops!!!
Coeptan it’s probably gonna need time
He doesn’t post reviews on Saturdays and Sundays are for the weekly track roundup
Fuck
“I need to know if I like it or not” is what your saying right?
Coeptan issa 4.
Glad to hear some of your perspective on Footwork. It's one of the few more niche genres of music that for whatever reason can't get enough of but at the same time, am not hungry to hear more. Double Cup is a banger and will definitely check out Traxman.
Any love for Lil B in your vids also never gets old.
I think us lads need a tago mago review
Anthony acknowledging Lex Luger is exactly what I needed today.
AUTECHRE NTS ALBUM OF THE DECADE
Paracletus is the best album of the 2010s
no thoughts on elseq besides its inhuman girth still?
I was gonna say, he didn't even state an opinion about it
I SUMMONED THIS BECAUSE I LISTENED TO MISTA THUG ISOLATION LIKE 5 TIMES THIS WEEK (Which is what I do every week, but it was special this time)
Man On the Moon : End of day??
Double Cup was the most slept on album of the 2010's
Glad to see you give God's Father the praise it deserves. Such an amazing tape
Mirror reaper has been my all time favorite song since it came out
I wish you reviewed TPAB tbh
so much new music to check out, fuck yeah
Erm 'The Iceberg' - Oddisee
Literally my favourite album from last year
Wtf???
Also,
Emptiness - Nothing But The Whole
fantastic album that I would've loved to hear your thoughts on
so review them.
He kinda did in this video
Sometimes I come back to watch only the James Ferraro review.
In summary: you need to review more black metal.
More metal/rock in general
I second the motion
Pretty much
Yeah Anthony, finally you shouted out Batushka, was waiting for that, thank you
THANKSthony BASEDGODtano
Johnny Ten yes
taskthony forcetano
I just don't understand why you only review new albums. you could still review these, and I would love to see you talk about older albums as well
